    Thank you so much this helped me figure out how to take out and disassemble and reassemble a Arisaka type 99 that I recently inherited.

    The one I got in a raffle is from 1939 has the aircraft cross on sights and doesn't have anything loose. Also has the emperors flower in front of where bullets are in clip.. won it for $20.

    I have one chambered for 300 Savage . It's a pre-war model, and is a lot better built than the latter models. Make sure you keep the bolt extra clean or it will fire when you release the safety... I learned the hard way and have the hole in my wall to proof it :>)

    My stock is cracked at the exact location yours is also. Any issues with that? I just got mine and was in doubt if I should get another stock

      It's tha way they made tha wood even if u got another 1 it would do tha same
