SWAMP LOGGERS NC / "Where's the Trucks?"

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 8 ก.พ. 2025
- With a nationwide trucker shortage, Bobby employs contract truckers to help haul wood. But with no shows and long hauls it is seeming more difficult by the day to get the wood out.
With the feat getting drivers, Bobby host Haywood Community College Forestry Students and explains shovel logging.
On top of it everything else, Bobby also gets a visit from Forestry Mutual Ins.

Wow! Looks like we are on the right track. Twelve thousand since last night is awesome! The next video we put out we want Dave in it! So like...view...and share! Which ever one hits 100k first....he has promised he will prepare ANYTHING the crew wants to eat. We have already began preproduction on the next video with lots of equipment and action sequences. Everyone have a great weekend and God bless you all
If we are watching, liking, and sharing can we come eat?
Can we see more footage of Justin doing some maintenance and repairs?
God bless you and yours too. Stay safe
Mr.Goodson : in all your years of logging in the swamp areas have you ever seen any Bears ; Feral Hogs ( Hogzillas ) or any boggy creek monsters ? Just curious ...stay blessed & well !

To all the folks overseas...United Kingdom...Ireland....France....Sweden and all of our European friends and the rest of the world...thank all of you as well for the support.

Hey everyone...we posted a video last night...but the final render was not the full edited video. Also, the codec wasn't downscaled. Sorry for the delay ...it should be back up in a little while.

Love the new platform Bobby. This the true side of logging without a lot of unnecessary drama. Thank you Bobby for sharing your family and experiences with us all. Please keep the videos coming!

Justin you still da man bud!!!! Tuff as they come. Ppl just don’t understand how hard it is to keep it all going and run equipment too.
It is so good to seeing y’all back on Bobby , my wife and I enjoyed seeing the show. But You Tube is better I’m enjoying seeing the operation again.
You nailed it Mr. Goodson. The backbone of America needs to stick together and stand up for each other. This country surpassed all other countries in the world due to freedom and hard working red blooded Americans. The issue now a lot of people are not in tune with is social media. Social media gives any human who can run a computer a voice. While this is good in some ways, you see a lot of uneducated people with personal agendas becoming the loudest voice out there. They attract a following due to their saturation of media platforms and being the most vocal. Those of us working hard day in and day out are not paying any attention to them but that’s precisely the problem. The easily swayed, the younger generations, those that don’t know the truth, are not hearing our side. They are not educated on hard work and earning your living. Keep up educating all that you can. Keep being a voice for what makes America great. I pray blessing for y’all. From south TX
The best thing about TH-cam is there are no commercials. Keep up the great work Bobby! God bless you.

Great to see Goodsons still operational. I loved there TV show.
EXCELLENT VIDEO 😍😍😍
Nothing better than a FLAME WRENCH to GIT - ER - DUN !!!
Nice variety and coverage of the ways of logging in the south.
BE SAFE !😊
flame wrench lol but it's the truth!
Speaking of old loggers from the early teens, twenties, and thirties like you said the average logger was 5' 9" and 150 pounds. But at dinner time the logging crew would eat an average of 5,000 to 6,000 calories but never gained weight as the job was so physical they burned the calories including the sandwiches the cooks packed for the loggers for lunch out in the field.
Glad to see you and your crew out here on TH-cam.
Thank you Bobby for taking the time and letting us see your business and I'm glad you're still in business.
Cheers
great video. still miss the show.
Mr Goodson,l watch all of your shows, Love the way you run your logging operation l live in South Louisiana and don’t get to see much swamp logging, most of all I love the you you treat your crew, you are a man among men and sorry to hear about Oscar death l felt like he was family Mr Goodson you are a just man ,God Will always show you favoritism, because you keep him first be Blessed......
AMEN!
In every trade there is a shortage of skilled labor. It will soon become critical that no one can haul timber, or repair your HVAC or fix that logging truck. I sadly believe that if we dont change we will become like the roman empire. Here today and great...gone tomorrow. Please people wake up... Nothing wrong with children having chores and being disciplined. How else does one learn life experiences except by living them. Life experiences cant be taught in school you know.
Thanks for your videos, As a equipment mechanic myself love the Pepsi trailer and the M818. Keep up the good work and God bless.
I'm glad to see all been well since you last stopped filming. I always appreciated the character all you folks show in the videos. I'm glad to see you folks back on camera and I'm glad it's something you like doing. Thanks for all the work, on camera and I'm the woods.

Also, Mr. Goodson, I believe you all are really good people. I wish I had something to offer and it was feasible, I'd love to come work for you.

Paying it forward! So happy that you're having the college students as guests on your job and teaching them about swamp logging. They will always remember their visit and will use what they've learned later in their careers. I'm so glad you're back!
My mom is 70 and she loves watching y'all's show, hehe

You can watch SWAMP LOGGERS on the QUEST channel. We just watched it tonight.....
I believe that the ELD has really made it harder for driver's and the trucking community.
No, not really. All hours of service regulations have not changed. We don’t need those people that can’t count to 11,14, or 70. They can stay home.
Yup eld has really hurt
Sam Ford. Tell receivers that. I never go over my 11. But if u haven't set to unload or load. You've never drove a truck. Good day sir
Awsome video Bobby. I really enjoy how you give back as far as helping young up and comers in the business.

Hey Bobby. You guys cut my ("The Doctor") tract as your "last episode" in Simmons Bay. Glad to see you back in a video! I too always loved the show being a lover of the outdoors and small business independence. If you wanted to shoot a video on my property again as some kind of a "re-visit" episode or scene just let me know and I'm sure we could arrange it. Again, nice to see you on here and good luck!
Great to see you all back. I have been watching a lot of the reruns recently and it’s good to see you all back.
Just found this today. Wish you guys were still on TV. I see your shows are back on re-run on DIRECT TV
My Dad and his brothers were all loggers and one owned a sawmill in Central Virginia. Seeing Bobby and his crew logging is so entertaining. My Husband can sit and watch the Swamp Logger episodes for hours back to back. Simitrio can really operate the feller buncher and I have never scene anyone that can operate just about any piece of equipment like Bobby does. Keep up the great work and we will keep watching and telling our friends about the show as well. Would love to meet Goodson's Loggers one day! Yall be blessed!
Logging is a way of gathering the harvest. 'I'm glad you're still in the game'.
....13
Keep up the great work Bobby!
Really love the loader camera. I hope you get the 100,000 likes. Shared with people who might enjoy this as well.
Very well done. Better than the old tv show . Good luck to ya.

Those boys would crap their pants if they saw a yarder operation in the steep terrain of Western Oregon. Love the videos!
Good job love u guys and I still watch the ones on quest
Same here. I never got to watch them all previously, but love that Quest shows them now!
Thanks for another great informative video Mr Goodson. It is such a shame that drugs have taken over this world to the point that you cannot be sure of who to hire without drug testing who would ever think that a 70 year old man would be using. once again thanks for bring us back swamp loggers and you and the whole crew stay safe And also would like to say thanks to Mrs Goodson for her help and support in your company.
Another great video showing how you pay it forward, with the helpful education and sharing life experiences to those students. You and your operation are a proud example of Family, God & Country...... I am glad to be part of the journey on here.....
Keep it going !
Keep up the good work Bobby, us drivers will keep getting the word out there for you. Goodson logging needs Trucks to haul wood .
This is your best video yet! All have been really good, but this one was awesome. You covered a lot of different areas and did it extremely well. Thank you so much for doing this, I look forward to the next one!
Hi Bobby & logging family from Texas. If I had a truck I’d be there with mom she loves big rigs. I’m a part time nurse but a southern girl at heart. Tell Simitrio hola. Praying for your business and the hog industry. 🐖
Bobby I love the long videos thanks for coming back
Great video! Thanks for taking time to make it an please keep them coming!
Great video... keep them coming...
How about some footage of that Tigercat 855D, always enjoyed watching Simitrio running the track cutter.
We love Simitrio.....He is Bobby's right hand man
The best of luck with finding some trucks and thanks for the video, nicely put together.
Fantastic seeing Bobby and his team back in front of the camera, this time unstaged, keep the great videos coming and let's hope Dave gets behind the grill soon for the team, GOD speed from the UK
The camera mount on the grapple was awesome. Great video.
Good ol Swamp Loggers tv show.
Glad y’all represent the Carolinas, fine job y’all do
Was wondering what Dave, Joy, and Bo are Doing now since I have not seen them in the videos. Hope they are doing good and hopefully you can update on them
I love your attitude to the environment, safety, your staff and the community. You are certainly an inspiration to bring people together and treat everyone and everything with respect.
Great videos Bobby!!! Keep it up.
Bobby love what you do watched it on TV a bit after I retired from trucking (still have my first) I know your area well hauled pork and chicken for years out of your state to central Canada to get back east we deal with the same plight in eastern maine and Canada with the drug problems destroying peoples careers and lives and I was surrounded with plenty of my friends from Tennessee Arkansas Virginia and North Carolina that got into meth to try and do more then their body could handle it's sad but God will provide have faith wish the industry hadn't changed to the point that home and farming made more sense to me I miss the open road the old brotherhood of helping one another and being proud of hard work and serving the customers hands on with pride our province still has a strong forestry industry but it's been cut heavily and people have moved west to the oil industry and out of long and short haul because of industry regulations and safety concerns ELDs brought on best of luck and your in my prayers you succeed and continue to grow
