Sevenoaks OO gauge - First Capital Connect Class 319 project

Hello and thanks to everyone who's subscribed and commented on the videos over the last few months - I read and appreciate all comments!
Back in December I embarked on what I thought would be a 'quick project', but that turned out to be a 3 month marathon and much more involved than I thought it would be. I've had a Bratchell Models Class 319 in the fleet for quite a few years now, and never really got round to running it. Powered by a single black beetle motor, it was rather underpowered, and needed additional pickups to get it running smoothly over pointwork. When the layout finally went digital, I decided this was a good opportunity to give the 319 a bit of TLC, and see what improvements I could make to its appearance. The upgraded 319 features brass etched cab fronts, LED head and tail lights, pantograph and a new motorised chassis, borrowed from a Bachmann Turbostar. While it is now running fairly smoothly on the layout, it does still need weathering, and I would like to fit some 'stay alives' for the head and tail lights, as they flicker over pointwork, despite having all wheel pickup on the front and rear coaches.

Wow! gosh the Class 319s!! never knew they were on 00 gauge, gosh sad to see those not on 3rd rail anymore miss the times of when they used to go up to Luton and Blackfriars.

All Class 700s now! I was sad to see the 319s go as well.

Was honestly saddened when Thameslink standardized their fleet with 700s, given what they had before
