Can’t imagine you never heard of Earth Wind and Fire. Most of the big artists are influenced by EW&F. Ogene are also a huge fan. Do you know why you are so happy. Because both their lyrics and melody are uplifting. I suggest you go listen to their songs and hear their bass player Verdine White at work. He’s one of the best. I’m always sceptic when people play or sing songs of EW&F but Ogene did well!! And that coming from my homeland. You have a pleasant way of giving comment to this. Enjoyed that. After getting praise from Queen, they now also got praised by Earth Wind and Fire, 2 legendary bands say you did good.. means you did really good. This medley is spot-on, perfect song choices with some of the best transitions i've ever heard in any medley. That transition to the fat bass in "Let's groove" is just downright sexy and the sound is exactly like it was in the original song, they captured that mix of Disco, Funk, Soul and Pop that Earth Wind and Fire was/is perfectly. They were part of a golden era in music, such incredible amounts of amazing music was being produced and in any style, during those years and we keep going back to those songs and bands... for a good reason, simply because they are really good... lol The sisters sang it perfectly too, spreading the "feel-good emotion" like it should be done with music like this, they make you move for all the right reasons hehehe Thnx for the react and upload Detrucci :)
