I watched an older interview with them and they mentioned that EW&F was played freguently at home when they were young so it is no wonder this EW&F medley was one of their choices to do. You could say they were born and raised with EW&F. 😁
You can also hear them solo...search for Og3ne, three times a lady. Search for Amy performing "casualty of love ".....wow,wow,wow. You will be amazed,i tell you.

Another great reaction, WR! I was attracted to this one because of EW&F, my all-time favorite R&B/Pop band from the late '60s and still today. Being a jazz musician, I was attracted to the horn section, which is out of this world (along with that of Tower of Power), but soon fell in love with the whole package. This was my first time hearing OG3NE and they did a great job on this medley. The band behind (around) them is wonderful, too. I think Maurice & Verdine White and Phillip Bailey would have approved. I had tickets to see EW&F here in St. Louis in July, but the show was cancelled due to COVID-19. Bummer! Hope they can reschedule it. Thanks again for all of your help for the past few months (I think you know what I mean). Be safe out there.

Another great and wonderful medley from a great American Soul/Funk band. From the same time, Commodores (Lionel Richie), Tramps, Stylistics, Detroit Emeralds. I was a dj in that time and have lot of fun.
They delivered gold again, so much talent is almost unfair hehehe.... almost!
I love these medley's they do, such good song choices and transitions, and the fun they have doing these is an added bonus too.
It also shows they had a good music education hehehe, they brings songs from bands, waaay before their time, with the same joy and fire as the original acts did, they know their music, thats for sure!

What a feast of nostalgic music! The sisters are right in their element with this medley. I think the brunette is Shelley, she's my favorite too. My only complaint is that the music was a bit too loud and drawned out the vocals at times, but given the production difficulty in isolation it's understandable.
I agree the video was a little loud, but wow they pulled it off.

I didn't mind that the music was loud. You could feel the groove and the rhythm, and still I could hear the ladys very well.

Just like you I love these og3ne home isolation versions, but I also watch your Nightwish and Floor Jansen reactions! I thought I was the only person liking these very different music styles, but I am not alone, 😎 Yeehaa!. These EW&F songs are from my high school days, I loved them then and I still do. I’m happy that there are more people with a varied musical taste, so many people can only listen to one genre, that’s a pity in my opinion. Btw I am from the same country as Floor and these sisters.
I agree with you. If you love music you should be able to at least appreciate every genre. Unfortunately you and I know that so many are stuck on one genre of music. So sad, they are missing so many great music masterpiece.
My main music taste is hardstyle, it’s a very powerfull and epic music genre, just as symphonic metal in a way which I also love. For me it’s basically, if it sounds good and has a good melody and harmonics, I will enjoy it, no matter what the genre might be.
@@wolfrock2270 when the music is good, the genre does not matter! I have a preference I'm mostly into metal, prog rock and blues wich are pretty deep holes to get lost in, but what is not to like about EWF, disco, Bach or Einaudi. Then you also have Eminem and Tupac
Shelley is also my favorite. Her voice is so beautiful and her vocal abilities are amazing. Het vocal range is also amazing. Her voice is so strong and she can pull off almost every note
Her voice is beautiful?? Lmao! She sounds like 85% of every pop singer. Her sisters have clearly the most interesting tones. The only thing I really like in her voice is that she can do those high notes but her tone isn't even that good.

Funny.. i like all their voices but I really really appreciate Shelley's. And also Lisa's. Amy's voice is nothing less. It's just my personal taste. Buy they all have wonderful qualities. I think especially Lisa has the amazing vocal ability to bring everything together.

Unpopular opinion but I don't think Shelley has that amazing voice. Amy's voice in my opinion is more unique as well as Lisa's. Both of them have a more different sound and that's why they call my attention more than Shelley. No hate, this is just what I think.
