well I received the PMC Twenty5.22i speakers today, and yes they paired lovely with the Sugden IA-4 amp. Effortless to drive these speakers with a good Class A amp. The clarity and articulation and annunciation is so clean and fast. The bass is perfect, not boomy very nice. This was a great choice.
Although YT vids don’t produce audiophile sound, I can hear the transparency of the amp, lovely! Wish I knew what the volume setting on the amp was; 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, etc. Sounds very fine, although the demo needed a track using more instruments, this was merely a vocal demo.
I have the proacs, my amp is mcintosh ma252, I'm happy but I'm sure that my other system for second home will have a class a amplifier and r2r ladder dac.

Sugden is fine, but D30RS also benefit from more power. Was huge difference when I used Plinius SA103 2x125Wpc @8Ohm ClassA. Also sounded better with 2x120Wpc ClassAB Gryphon Diablo 120.
Hi, I am trying to put a system together blindly and would like to ask you between Harbeth SHL5 Plus XD and ProAc D30RS for Prog Rock, Rock and some jazz music, which in your opinion would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
ProAc was on my wishlist for many years but I was recommended to try the Harbeths instead which I ended up buying. The Harbeths are an excellent speaker, more depth i think than any of the ProAcs I've heard. Listen to Classical, trad Jazz, Heavy Rock, Folk, Country, you name it we probably listen.

Just getting back to the original, there's a tense effect between her voice and her echo... so she's supposed to be in the chamber of death of something of that kind. Catch me ? And here, after 3' on your file, I was asking myself : but were is she ? Looks like she's nowhere at all. Same system : YT vs Deezer Hifi file. Can tell you, there's a lot to ear with Duelund HP cables. Maybe the acoustic of your room completely disturbs and overwhelms the artistic work here : microphones do emphasize basic problems of rooms, so maybe it's not that problematic for your ears @ home. BTW anything just between speakers is not very good. The console here is a shame. Just look at basic pro setup : amps & other gears are always way behind, or at worst on the floor level. Little advice : avoid just in-between them.
Perhaps s/he and maybe their partner also has to live in the room and theres nowhere else to place the equipment... This song usually sounds more sharp and overcooked - the proacs take the edges off
thaks for comment. yeah, all the things you said about console and room I know. Some accoustic treatment and proper rack will come later. Room is 5.8mx6.8m, on the left side of the speakers there are curtains, and carpet on the floor. It is really not bad at all. Bare in mind, that it is not the same as to be in the room , as to listen through YT.

The music was so,so but via the Sugden it seems one can appreciate the textures of the instruments, so better than a kick in the teeth...!

does the speaker placement close to the wall work fine for ? Do you have a sound stage in the room or is the sound more sticked to the front?

Sounds great but the Chord DAC ruins it. I own Sugden and this sounds a little cold, which is without a doubt the TT2.
I agree. I have an Aqua La Voce DAC with my IA-4 amp, and some Capriccio Continuo speakers. Mine is romantic and musical.

At least 20 000 pounds worth of equipment. Is a lot of money but the sound is magic indeed.

No, Gryphon Diablo 120 is definitely better sounding amp( that is expected, it costs 2x) than IA-4. And was really good with ProAc.
