So what generate does it compiles my components into the Index.html so my content like headers and paragraphs are in the site source code and it can be picked up by seo crawlers, right? But when I would load async data from firebase it wouldn‘t be ready for seo? If I wanted to have this I would need to use SSR right?
It works for me for the first commit and push! But after that, whenever i successfully commit and push some changes, why does my github.io website does not change at all? Can you please help me?
The vue-cli does not create a static site out of the box that will work on something like Github pages without additional configuration. There are ways to do it, with plugins like vue-gh-pages, or push-dir, or doing some renaming. This configuration with nuxt is a little easier. Of course you can run Nuxt as a SSR app, (with an express server), and it can be deployed that way instead.
Hi, Erik. Thanks for great tutorial as usually. It is simple and easy. Quick question, after I generate the project, when I open the homepage locally and try to go the other page via the link, browser can't find the page, even thought it was generated. I see it in the dist folder. The source of the the html generated shows that the link is just /info instead of full path to /info/index.html am I missing something?
What do you think of Static sites?
I think this make it easier to make a portfolio sites for my Github accounts. Thanks
My latest project is a redo of a Vue SPA into Nuxt...reason: for SEO capabilities. Thanks!
Hi Erik, great tutorial. Can you do a github pages deployment video with Nuxt3 + Vuetify
Yes, I'll add it to my list.
I' m new to nuxt and this video helps me lots. Thx Erik!
You are welcome
When I run npm generate (like you do at 13:22) for some reason an about folder is not created... Just the _nuxt folder. Any idea why?

Hey Erik, what is the benefit of doing this as in a regular vue app npm run build also creates a static site. Didn't quite get it :/
