Considering the gains Frost is likely to get from the next Frost and Altered units, and with how soon Yulan was, skipping Zeke to have more pulls for the gauntlet of units in the future may be the move.

Honestly if the charts are a headache for you, I have zero issues with you simplifying them to make your life easier. You shouldn't have to kill yourself for 10 seconds of pretty charts when a basic one can do just fine. As always thanks for your amazing work!

Mathematically speaking isn't Fiona Trait + Maelstrom would give better final damage multiplier (1+0.26+0.33) to Liu and even Yulan after switching to them? "__Maelstrom Enhancement__ : *When dealing physical damage* while Maelstrom is in effect, gain an additional final damage boost, up to 33% (maxes out in 10 seconds)." You always can gain physical damage from Zeke in the background from both his active skill and from his Shield Break: Detachment? This would fulfill the condition stated in Fiona trait for additional 33%.

Because they both do 18% final damage, with Liu Huo shooting her passive faster in off-hand (but aren't we using her as dps?). Hihi! Remember, with Lan in the team, you're shooting off 4 feathers at once. Liu Huo is on-field most of the time, but in the moments she is off-field, you'll be getting many extra feathers shot out, increasing her passive DPS by roughly 4% (estimated 3067% -> 3192% post buffs). With Zeke's trait, assuming an average off-stat spread of 3:4, his passive DPS goes from 231% -> 308% (post buffs). As you can see, Zeke's passive damage is so low that even the very small boost to Liu's passive damage outshines it. This also assumes a theoretical maximum where you land all his dark souls, which is highly impractical in any combat, making Liu's even stronger in comparison.
Hi new sub here. Love the video alot of work and research went into this and I appreciate that. A quick question why not use full set Scylla matrixes instead of split Scylla/Haboela? Scylla gives more % elemental than Haboela % final damage (even at haboela full set)

In the flame comp the zeke damage is so irrelevant, that you don't take the zeke trait to get all your flame damage to physical damage? also did you take that in account, while doing your damage testing ? Like you have 20k fire damage but only 12k phys damage, and with zeke trait you would've 20k on both
Yep, I took everything into account! Even in a perfect theoretical situation where you land every one of the balls from Zeke's skill (impractical in real combat against anything that moves), boosting that isn't worth as much as getting a few extra Liu feathers when off-field.

This could work for now, probably leaning more towards a Zeke main DPS team unless Lan is A6 - we'll have to see how things change when the next Flame comes out!
Before digging deep into meta comps, it's good to get an understanding of his role first, which is what part 1 is for! But, to explain very briefly: Zeke can function as a main DPS in Physical teams by using his trait or Zeke can function as a support in any other team by using his skill (need to dodge once at the start of rotation to mark the mobs), which allows mobs to take +30% damage from current weapon damage
Nono, Zeke trait only buffs normal attacks when he is on field~ Zeke buffs Yulan with the Snake chain passive, allowing all Yulan's damage to be echoed by 30% (or 50% at A6) to all Snake Chain members, including the target itself

You can test comps using my DPS calculator in the description! In this example, though, Ruby really wouldn't offer much, as even at maximum advancement, you'd be better off using Zeke as main DPS...
One question about rotation in flame, why you don't use shift after the zeke skill? Normal skill does not give damage increase, only after shift, when snakebite is applied

@@panserod.You'd want to just cancel all discharges in this comp because none of them are worth casting. The priority to use stacks is the same as noted in the video - as long as you aren't overcapping stacks, try your best to use them in windows where relics are up (without Fiona, the timing is more lax - if relics are coming off cooldown, try to save them for that, otherwise just use them whenever)
Random question about the Titan stats, do I need to get lucky on the random rolls for the bonus stats or is there a way to change them? I'd hate to have to get whole new pieces just to try and roll good on the bonus stats again.
I have the same question. When I swap A1 Alyss with A0 Zeke, the resonance is gone and my attack is much lower. So my zeke frost comp damage is a lot lower than Alyss comp. And many content like VA and OOW still buff only one element. So no idea why zeke frost comp is better than Alyss Yulan.
@@Why_Do_I_Need_A_Handle_Name zeke can deal great amount of off-field damage while also increasing the damage dealt by your on-field dps through Serpent Chain. Serpent Chain echoes back 30% of the damage you deal to your target, similar to Fenrir's clone but works on all of your weapon, and also apply grievous. I'm pretty sure this was explained in the part 1 video of Zeke. I'm not sure what line of though you followed, but the answer is no.
@@Fuannai04 I see, that's something I missed. I followed the rotation in this video and I cancelled zeke skills even at the start, just like Alyss. As a result, no totem was summoned XD. Anthoer question: Can Yulan's dodge attack also summon Serpent Chain, or I have to do it with Zeke? No mentioning of Zeke dodge attack in the video for frost comp.
@@theofulis nice catch! in theory, liu is slightly higher in dps than anna on cactus, with perfect rotation, but in real fight, anna is much easier to play, also anna has resistant ignore, so the dps of anna flame comp should be theoretically higher than Liu flame comp in practical battle..... But never under estimate the ability for anna to miss her bullets.... but it's also too hard to play perfect rotations on Liu, making you lose a lot of dps. Anna also has way better healing than Liu, but liu has death resist one time every 45s. NOTE: this video is slightly wrong, because anna's live buff, her a6 buff is actually changed from 18% to 20% buff. (in this video Maygi showed 18% buff)
Because crow's matrix will never proc on cactus, and generally speaking, most people won't have enough crit rate to make better use of crow's 2p effect, meanwhile shiro and samir's effect are much more consistent
4p Zeke works completely in the offhand. You can throw it on one of the supporting weapons and gain the full benefit. Assuming you don't have other limited matrices, the only other off-hand options are Haboela and Scylla, which don't grant too much benefits off-field in comparison as half their effects are on-field only. As such, it's more efficient to use Samir/Shiro on your main DPS as you'll benefit a lot from that, then put Zeke's matrices in the offhand, which you still benefit fully from.
Whut, that is just pestering Volt users. Zeke sure hates Volt users. Volt has still good sides, included self-heal and fast traveling around. I still love Fenrir, especially quick shield breaking. I will focus on Flame as low invest during the event, because it's better than Physical overall. Whales can focus on Physical as highest dps. Thanks for the numbers!
Damage wise for f2p is a bit higher than this if we use claudia a6 which is not hard to get for any f2p unless the f2p investment is new players only problem with that comp should be survivability
I've thought about including A6 Claudia/Frigg/Nemesis/etc into F2P comes, but the problem with that is, without including a gigantic disclaimer explaining exactly what comp is running what, it's not feasible to include without a ton of information bloat, and there's also a good difference between like "newer player F2P" and veteran player - for newer players, it may be a while before they even hit Claudia/etc on standard, yet alone get enough black gold to A6, etc...
Well Zeke A1 is really good as mentioned in Pt1 of the guide. Also I'm pretty sure A1 lan synergizes very well with liu/ana but I don't rly know I don't play flame
I wouldn't replace Alyss with Zeke, even tho I understand she is boring and weak now. Just wait for the next frost girl, same as me, I will replace Alyss with her. My comp will be: New char + Yulan + Fiona I also have Alyss a6 and cant wait to replace her, but never Zeke at all. Edit: in case you REALLY want to put Zeke in the comp, then replace Alyss, cause Fiona's buffs are way better.
That does make sense, as Zeke is mainly to increase constant DPS, and sequential bygone has a lot of downtime and trivial waves. Most of the first bosses die in one Yulan skill - but later, the burst you get from someone like Alyss could be more valuable!
You mean the majority of *new* f2p players. Dedicated phys main should have gunonno, f2p or otherwise. If don't, then either you aren't phys user, or don't know what you're doing.

Will Claudia Zeke and Ruby go? Claudia buffs, slash as sup DPS, and zeke as main dps, do you have the opportunity to test the damage?
You can test comps using my DPS calculator in the description! In this example, though, Ruby really wouldn't offer much, as even at maximum advancement, you'd be better off using Zeke as main DPS...

Same concept as the rotation with Fiona, just use her skill and swap out instantly!

@@panserod.You'd want to just cancel all discharges in this comp because none of them are worth casting. The priority to use stacks is the same as noted in the video - as long as you aren't overcapping stacks, try your best to use them in windows where relics are up (without Fiona, the timing is more lax - if relics are coming off cooldown, try to save them for that, otherwise just use them whenever)

Random question about the Titan stats, do I need to get lucky on the random rolls for the bonus stats or is there a way to change them? I'd hate to have to get whole new pieces just to try and roll good on the bonus stats again.

Zeke claudia + altered does no damage, it's about the same if not worse than altered zeke not even worth considering

I have the same question. When I swap A1 Alyss with A0 Zeke, the resonance is gone and my attack is much lower. So my zeke frost comp damage is a lot lower than Alyss comp. And many content like VA and OOW still buff only one element. So no idea why zeke frost comp is better than Alyss Yulan.

@@Why_Do_I_Need_A_Handle_Name zeke can deal great amount of off-field damage while also increasing the damage dealt by your on-field dps through Serpent Chain. Serpent Chain echoes back 30% of the damage you deal to your target, similar to Fenrir's clone but works on all of your weapon, and also apply grievous. I'm pretty sure this was explained in the part 1 video of Zeke.
I'm not sure what line of though you followed, but the answer is no.
@@Fuannai04 I see, that's something I missed. I followed the rotation in this video and I cancelled zeke skills even at the start, just like Alyss. As a result, no totem was summoned XD. Anthoer question: Can Yulan's dodge attack also summon Serpent Chain, or I have to do it with Zeke? No mentioning of Zeke dodge attack in the video for frost comp.
Did you account for the super recent Anna's double damage buff?

@@theofulis nice catch! in theory, liu is slightly higher in dps than anna on cactus, with perfect rotation, but in real fight, anna is much easier to play, also anna has resistant ignore, so the dps of anna flame comp should be theoretically higher than Liu flame comp in practical battle.....
But never under estimate the ability for anna to miss her bullets.... but it's also too hard to play perfect rotations on Liu, making you lose a lot of dps. Anna also has way better healing than Liu, but liu has death resist one time every 45s.
NOTE: this video is slightly wrong, because anna's live buff, her a6 buff is actually changed from 18% to 20% buff. (in this video Maygi showed 18% buff)
How come you use Shiro matrices instead of Crow as f2p? Or it's just only on Cactus?
Because crow's matrix will never proc on cactus, and generally speaking, most people won't have enough crit rate to make better use of crow's 2p effect, meanwhile shiro and samir's effect are much more consistent

can someone give me a summary on why i should use 2p samir 2p shiro instead of my 4p zeke matrixes on his weapon
4p Zeke works completely in the offhand. You can throw it on one of the supporting weapons and gain the full benefit. Assuming you don't have other limited matrices, the only other off-hand options are Haboela and Scylla, which don't grant too much benefits off-field in comparison as half their effects are on-field only. As such, it's more efficient to use Samir/Shiro on your main DPS as you'll benefit a lot from that, then put Zeke's matrices in the offhand, which you still benefit fully from.

Volt has still good sides, included self-heal and fast traveling around. I still love Fenrir, especially quick shield breaking.
I will focus on Flame as low invest during the event, because it's better than Physical overall. Whales can focus on Physical as highest dps.

Damage wise for f2p is a bit higher than this if we use claudia a6 which is not hard to get for any f2p unless the f2p investment is new players
only problem with that comp should be survivability
I've thought about including A6 Claudia/Frigg/Nemesis/etc into F2P comes, but the problem with that is, without including a gigantic disclaimer explaining exactly what comp is running what, it's not feasible to include without a ton of information bloat, and there's also a good difference between like "newer player F2P" and veteran player - for newer players, it may be a while before they even hit Claudia/etc on standard, yet alone get enough black gold to A6, etc...

Well Zeke A1 is really good as mentioned in Pt1 of the guide. Also I'm pretty sure A1 lan synergizes very well with liu/ana but I don't rly know I don't play flame

Even A6 vs A6, Zeke felt worse to me. I cleared content much faster with Alyss.
Zeke feels like a downgrade on the frost team to me. Definitely works out to less damage in sequential bygone.
That does make sense, as Zeke is mainly to increase constant DPS, and sequential bygone has a lot of downtime and trivial waves. Most of the first bosses die in one Yulan skill - but later, the burst you get from someone like Alyss could be more valuable!
@@Maygi Alyss is also able to move around more quickly, which also probably helps. (Faster/more mobility = faster clear)

You mean the majority of *new* f2p players. Dedicated phys main should have gunonno, f2p or otherwise. If don't, then either you aren't phys user, or don't know what you're doing.
I'm using this comp, it's great! 220m cactus parse 1:30 with pet, no relics.
