I don't have nearly the amount of resources to do that so I'll have to skip. feels bad but hope the next alter or volt char pays out just as good. if I could recycle chars and get everything back, I would to get her.

Gnunno's balance was OK, except in the test server, Umi charging was bugged, making Umi main DPS unplayable - while my calculations showed that Umi main DPS was theoretically better (and it was), they decided to just release it without testing it so...

It was said that the special elemental damage is a separate multiplier. So all the same matrices of Rubilia and tiana are summed up or multiplied? And the same question about the matrices of Tian and Scylla, are they in separate factors or are they summed inefficiently?

Rubilia matrix should be a small upgrade from Tian's, up to around ~5% at 3*, even if the thorn passive didn't exist ~ So if you didn't have either and just wanted to pull for a set, Rubilia's is a safer pick, even if you don't use Rubilia herself!

I maxed Fenrir on release. To this day I don't have a clue why people do the plunge attacks simply because using her Claw gives you all the notes required. Then you trigger them all with dash attack. By the time enemy runs out of the Intoxication debuff you applied with the notes you already have the claw up and running. I never saw any reason to use plunge attacks.
@Robert Fierce if you use fiona, tian and fenrir. Those plunge attacks makes sense since all skills are on cd on your rotation, otherwise when using saki rainbow with lyn and fen, no need for those plunge atks just go jump cancel all those discharge for faster rotation.
Since she is not F2P friendly version, i guess will get her only for exploration purpose. Because that is much faster than other Simulacras. As F2P, i can only do in most cases go to 120 flame and that is mostly possible within ~20 days usual banner time. If you're very unlucky, A0 (thanks to 120 flame coins) but if you're bit lucky, A1 is possible if you get it at 80 pity, and A2+ is possible between. A2 chances until 120 flame coins is very very low. I have most A1 after each banner period. Since she is better for A5 and full matrices set, don't focus too much on it as F2P. I will play Fenrir for a while. The low gains are not very worth to use her in many battles.

Probably not. Fenrir will be rerun with rubillia and is a ton more f2p friendly. My recommendation would be to go for Fenrir instead of rubillia if breaking shields (and bypassing shields) is your goal. Yes. Fen not only breaks shield but the afterimage created by her skill takes damage that bypasses the shield. So her value increases way beyond most the more a shield is up.
@Robert Fierce to be fair, though Rubilia is likely to be more future proof. This is why I took the stance that Fenrir is the best shield break, and if you need that, she is better. Fenrir definitely has her drawbacks... when her skill isn't up, she's kinda like a fish flopping around - she does damage, but the gameplay kinda becomes clunky. Maygi suggest using dash and attack to reload the skill but i suggest jump and hold aerial because the dash and attack often only hits the after image, which doesnt reload the skill. The jump hold aerial is aoe and still reloads skill but is less likely to miss the main enemy. I think she's the most fun with saki and lin for this reason; it's sad that comp got power sprinted.
I thought about it more towards after I had everything recorded and planned, so I didn't get to make a proper rotation guide on it, but the just of it is: It smooths out the rotation a lot, but is only really good with Rubilia A5+ (because of the fast pacing of the rotation) and at a max investment, is a bit weaker than Fenrir's matrix ~ (it's also broken in the calculator as of rn lol... Claudia matrix always breaks things! I'll have to look into that when I get the time)
You're the best! Yeah I'm skill capped and was having trouble fitting in the second rubilia skill in the first rotation. Claudia matrices helped a bunch and made it feel much smoother. A6 rub, A6 fiona, A6 fen and 1* limited matrices.
i have around 140 pulls i have fenrir A2 (ofc i can get 20+ so basically i can get 2 pittys) I was waiting for rubilia to know if im leaving or not the game, so i should pull for A3 fenrir with the 140 pulls? and try to use 1 pull in the 80 pitty to get rubilia? or reverse? pulling 120 for rubilia and try my luck with the 2 50/50 with fenrir? F2P and using A2 fenrir A1 Tian and A5 LIN Rn
Without Fenrir A3 this character is bad. Very Bad. She absolutely needs Fenrir A3 or her damage is in the water. They changed her resonance from tank to dps but never actually changed her skills to actually do dps. She still has her intended Tank skills and numbers attached to them.

it doesn't really make sense to pull for Rubilia if you don't have Fenrir, and even if you did you'd need her at A3 for Rubilia to synergize well. Keep in mind that Rubilia's considered a DPS buffer, while Fenrir's the main DPS for volt, so they're not interchangeable as they don't fulfill the same role in a comp :)
If all you have for Volt is samir and nemesis then I'm afraid Samir does more damage. Especially if you've been playing for a while and maxed her stars and matrices out from free pulls and gacha pulls with ingame currency. With Samir main dps u do about 43-47 mil damage per 30 seconds with Lin in the team and even without lin she still does about 30 mil. Save your pulls for a better character, if you're looking for an investment to do more damage this is not it. Go for Fenrir instead. You will thank me later. Trust me I used Samir Nemesis for 6 months in this game as volt main. Carried me all the way up to Bygone floor 400. That comp can solo Raids and Frontier Hard.
Thank you Maygi for the video. I wanna ask why haven't you compared the Volt team performances with Rub A1/3 and Fen A3 against the other teams? That's after all the minimum investment, so the f2p chart says nothing really when Fen is A1. I would love it if you can make another video or make a post talking about where A1/3 Rubilia and A3 Fen would stand against A1, A3, and A6 teams, just an estimation would help. Without this, I'm confused about where she'd stand with Rainbow Fen, Lin, and Saki's team... Would it be an upgrade? A downgrade? Similar? Right now I don't know.
It's hard to cover exactly every possible breaking point, but you can experiment with various other options in the calculator - link in the description!
The F2P calcs are useful for me, because I don't intend to go for Fenrir A3 (I prefer to go with Rubilia instead of Tian because Rubilia is more future proof, and will probably be a good unit with the next electro character).

I'm also unsure on how many advancements to pull for Rubilia EDIT: just checked, if I'm not mistaken, with A6 Lin, A3 Fenrir, you'd need at least A3 Rubilia to beat A1 Saki rainbow comp by around 4% So you kinda need A5 Rubilia to have a noticeable improvement.

I found that even A1 Rubilia out performs rainbow by something like 40K total damage, didn't check the % of that damage, but maybe this because I only had f2p boss matrices and Samir/crow for rainbow. I plan on getting 4p Rubilia matrices as they provide good damage that A1 is enough.

It depends on what other options you have! Yes, the 4-piece matrix is strong, especially if you're upgrading from a World Boss set or something else, but if you already have 3 limited sets, for example, it won't be as much of an increase as getting A1 to A5~
why is rubilia 4pc and tian 4pc the same when one is "all elemental dmg" and the other specific elemental dmg? It contradicts with your previous video about how final damage works.

If you don't cancel Fenrir's skill early to use Rubilia skill ASAP, then you won't have time to cast the 2nd Rubilia skill before the end of the Songworld. The timing is fairly strict, so you HAVE to cancel the second A1 at the start very fast or else you'll risk your 2nd Rubilia skill missing Fenrir A3 procs because Songworld will wear out
I want A3 for the skin, but it's disappointing that I won't get a dps upgrade over a3 Tian. That's honestly quite sad. They also nerfed her potential with future volt units because of Fenrir. Now their next volt HAS to have a similar hp mechanic to Fenrir, otherwise Rubilia will be so scuffed. Idk why they did this to her. If I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, this might mean the next volt unit will also have an HP mechanic.

Tian A3 slaps every Rubilia except A5, and A5 Rubilia slaps every Tian even A6.

Rubilia's shatter felt pretty weak in testing, so Fenrir is still the go-to for that~

How much % gain between Fenrir A2 and A3 ? (with Rubilia A1)
Between Rubi A0 + Fenrir A3 and Rubi A1 + Fenrir A2, which one is better?
A3 Fenrir + A0 Rubilia. The A3 synergy with Rubilia is what makes Rubilia viable on the volt team. Without Fenrir A3, Tian is better.

You're the best! Yeah I'm skill capped and was having trouble fitting in the second rubilia skill in the first rotation. Claudia matrices helped a bunch and made it feel much smoother. A6 rub, A6 fiona, A6 fen and 1* limited matrices.
i have around 140 pulls i have fenrir A2 (ofc i can get 20+ so basically i can get 2 pittys)
I was waiting for rubilia to know if im leaving or not the game, so i should pull for A3 fenrir with the 140 pulls? and try to use 1 pull in the 80 pitty to get rubilia? or reverse? pulling 120 for rubilia and try my luck with the 2 50/50 with fenrir?

Yes, get Fenrir A3 before Rubilia, Rubilia can't do anything without Fenrir A3.

Without Fenrir A3 this character is bad. Very Bad. She absolutely needs Fenrir A3 or her damage is in the water. They changed her resonance from tank to dps but never actually changed her skills to actually do dps. She still has her intended Tank skills and numbers attached to them.

Didn't you see the whole video? in minute 13 its literally say it that if you don't have fenrir A3 she's shit
it doesn't really make sense to pull for Rubilia if you don't have Fenrir, and even if you did you'd need her at A3 for Rubilia to synergize well. Keep in mind that Rubilia's considered a DPS buffer, while Fenrir's the main DPS for volt, so they're not interchangeable as they don't fulfill the same role in a comp :)
If all you have for Volt is samir and nemesis then I'm afraid Samir does more damage. Especially if you've been playing for a while and maxed her stars and matrices out from free pulls and gacha pulls with ingame currency. With Samir main dps u do about 43-47 mil damage per 30 seconds with Lin in the team and even without lin she still does about 30 mil. Save your pulls for a better character, if you're looking for an investment to do more damage this is not it. Go for Fenrir instead. You will thank me later. Trust me I used Samir Nemesis for 6 months in this game as volt main. Carried me all the way up to Bygone floor 400. That comp can solo Raids and Frontier Hard.

Thank you Maygi for the video. I wanna ask why haven't you compared the Volt team performances with Rub A1/3 and Fen A3 against the other teams? That's after all the minimum investment, so the f2p chart says nothing really when Fen is A1. I would love it if you can make another video or make a post talking about where A1/3 Rubilia and A3 Fen would stand against A1, A3, and A6 teams, just an estimation would help. Without this, I'm confused about where she'd stand with Rainbow Fen, Lin, and Saki's team... Would it be an upgrade? A downgrade? Similar? Right now I don't know.
It's hard to cover exactly every possible breaking point, but you can experiment with various other options in the calculator - link in the description!

The F2P calcs are useful for me, because I don't intend to go for Fenrir A3 (I prefer to go with Rubilia instead of Tian because Rubilia is more future proof, and will probably be a good unit with the next electro character).

EDIT: just checked, if I'm not mistaken, with A6 Lin, A3 Fenrir, you'd need at least A3 Rubilia to beat A1 Saki rainbow comp by around 4%
So you kinda need A5 Rubilia to have a noticeable improvement.
@@SekundeS81 I think there is a difference in the matrices then. I found that even A1 Rubilia out performs rainbow by something like 40K total damage, didn't check the % of that damage, but maybe this because I only had f2p boss matrices and Samir/crow for rainbow. I plan on getting 4p Rubilia matrices as they provide good damage that A1 is enough.

It depends on what other options you have! Yes, the 4-piece matrix is strong, especially if you're upgrading from a World Boss set or something else, but if you already have 3 limited sets, for example, it won't be as much of an increase as getting A1 to A5~

why is rubilia 4pc and tian 4pc the same when one is "all elemental dmg" and the other specific elemental dmg? It contradicts with your previous video about how final damage works.

If you don't cancel Fenrir's skill early to use Rubilia skill ASAP, then you won't have time to cast the 2nd Rubilia skill before the end of the Songworld. The timing is fairly strict, so you HAVE to cancel the second A1 at the start very fast or else you'll risk your 2nd Rubilia skill missing Fenrir A3 procs because Songworld will wear out

I want A3 for the skin, but it's disappointing that I won't get a dps upgrade over a3 Tian. That's honestly quite sad. They also nerfed her potential with future volt units because of Fenrir. Now their next volt HAS to have a similar hp mechanic to Fenrir, otherwise Rubilia will be so scuffed. Idk why they did this to her. If I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, this might mean the next volt unit will also have an HP mechanic.
Interesting to see Mimi. Especially if she's first volt tank, which should be associated with HP stuff. Maybe she can do good sinergy then
