The ink on your fingers convinces me that you are, in fact, an expert. Thanks for clearly explaining the mystery of so many different ink cartridges. Best wishes to you and yours.
Awesome video, Daisy! I’ve just gotten into fountain pens with cartridges, but I’ve been a little intimidated by converters. This video was very helpful! ❤
Hello 🤗 and Thank you for sharing this video I have 3 LAMY Safari Fountain Pens I got 2 converters for Christmas and some bottles of ink can you please do a informative video like this one but on how I fill them and put them in my pens Thank you so much enjoy your week ahead ☺️🌹💌✒️📚🦄🤗❣️❣️
Thank you for the video. I knew about the bigger brands, or maybe more popular brands that you mentioned here, but was wondering if waterman pens take international converters or not. I can't seen to find too much information on them and mine didn't come with any information either 😅
Hi. I have a CROSS fountain pen. Just basic, beginners' fountain pen, nothing fancy. So, do all CROSS fountain pens use same size cartridges and converters? Can Cross pen use a cartridge or converter made for or by Pilot?
for germans (or europeans?), the company ONLINE Schreibgeräte makes cheaper ink cartridges that fit in LAMY and, respectively, in Kaweco (and a bunch of other german fountain pen makers), too.
What’s Daisy’s secret in ridding her fingers of ink ,I’ve personally always been told to use dish washing liquid .Hate the Lamy cartridge boxes why can’t they print the color in bold on the front of box .
Answered in the last Catching Up :) Thanks for the question! Basically I don't care about the ink but when I do really want to get rid of ink on my hands, I scrub with soap or for even better results, dish soap, with the scrubby side of a sponge.

Thanks for the clarification! I think Platinum makes an adapter that will allow use of an international cartridge.
Many thanks, you really helped me understand the cartridge and converter situation.
Loving the recent fountain pen and ink content 😁
Fantastic video, so well explained ☺☺☺
Nice video for beginners. When you like older C/C pens there are some issues like “international” converters that meed the Schmidt 6.
TWSBI has started making cartridges which look huge (hold lots of ink) but are still international standard.
Yes they are huge indeed but we realized they didn't actually fit into many of our other international standard fountain pens haha

Love the channel, that made me a customer, when it internationally.
Great video, I learned a lot……now to buy my first fountain pen ???
Hi! I enjoy very much your videos. Thanks. Any mini converter that is compatible and fits with kaweco sport and that is not kaweco?

can you swap converters? you know one converter per type of ink to use with the same pen?

Clean out old cartridges and fill with bottled ink. Lets not be wasteful :)
You can do that? I thought they came sealed for a reason….
@@liza5532 thats so they dont dry out in store
@@liza5532 yes, just clean them, dry and refill with syringe.

2.6 vs 3.4 size. Can you swap
What do you mean, sorry!!!
@@Yoseka The “international standard” is NOT one universal size. that is the question.
