Really hope the dev eventually adds the options in-game to modify parts like this, would make it a lot easier for anyone to create stuff like this in the future.
One small optimization to test might be to slalom ever so slightly from booster to booster. Since the boosters are rectangular, passing over them diagonally from corner to corner very slightly increases the amount of time you spend going super speed. In a normal track, this gives you more time to reach the booster's max speed, but it might not help with crazy modded boosters that shoot you up to 420 in a half second anyway.
I think it would be really cool to see like, an experimental mode where your tires, cart, suspension/struts actually made a difference. And the materials they were made of, how thick the rubber is on the tires, placement of the rubber on the outside of the wheel, and even like a lubricant of some kind with the wheels. Like, nothing, an oil of some kind, graphite powder. Then remove the top speed limit and see just how fast people can get. Obviously there'd be a "best" option. But with enough testing with all the part combinations, I'm sure you could find a good way to have a balance so there would be a "The One" option, but rather many decent options to vary in driving style
Uh, not a bad plan, but its a single developer & kind of the opposite of what he's trying to do, in one of the earlier zeepkist video's where the dev is in the race session they talk about how he 'made physics simpler' (paraphrasing) in favor of the gameplay, i doubt he wants to start modelling reality for another gamemode :P Also in your second paragraph i'm pretty sure you meant to say "wouldn't" not "would" :)

Picked it up yesterday on sale and it's surprisingly challenging yet rewarding once you get the controls calibrated comfortably. Clutch kicking in manual trans is a real B but damn does it feel nice when you can manage a clean drift. Great music too. Wish I had editing skills anywhere other than the comment section, lol
My friend had a similar track but it had jumps on the cross but that was early 70s so hot wheels were a bit different then. But you definitely brought back some memories.
Is there a way you can build a track like this but hide the boosters and keep the boosters at like 100 “speed” (idk if it is mph or kph?). You could run them along the whole track and keep it pushin the whole way through. it would feel fast but it wouldn’t be that, slow - fast or push - pull feeling.
kosmo pro tip when u turn enter the corner wide the at the apex of the corner u should be in nice and close to the wall then exit wide this will give you the best possible lap time
I'm going to try to and build this track in Forza now. Then I'm going to look up some more Official Hot Wheels track sets to copy into Forza. Then I'm going to wait patiently,, but anxiously and excitedly for you 3 to buid craxy tracks in FORZA! XD
So, uh... Update on the Criss Cross Crash track in Forza. Turns out its hard to get a track to loop back and connect to itself, so I gave up... after 2 hours of trying...
Found the map in the workshop before the Video was uploaded so I already played it. Plays pretty good just a bit monotone but thats just the track concept. I thought you used some hidden fans because I was reachen over 200 and was puzzled wher they are hidden XD
You guys should try and recreate a real life track. Maybe spa, the a1 ring, Monza, Monaco or if your crazy enough the full Nurburgring Copying and pasting to all three of your guys vids. Love your tracks and your vids.
I bet everyones head would have hurt if you tried to build a hot wheels world race track. Or any hot wheels acceleracers track. Or battle force 5 but they never had a track i believe. Man now i wish hot wheels acceleracers had a fifth episode now. Ps. If you know what im talking about. Just say hi. Lol. The new kids don't know what they are missing out on. Lol! XD Ps ps. Hitting 300mph was a actual thing in Hot Wheels world race and Hot Wheels acceleracers to enter the realms. And i believe they changed it a bit for Hot Wheels battle force 5.
