Really confused about Clara being paired with a preservation sustain (aggro issues) as well as without Sunday. Her best team no doubt rn is HH Sunday Robin Clara.
Personally I'd recommend Luocha over Huohuo for Clara sustain. Luocha's leech field means Clara is healing the entire party with every counter attack. As long as debuffs aren't an issue, I think this is the area Luocha is more or less objectively the better choice to any other healer, and I say this as a Huohuo E1 haver/enjoyer
"Throughout heaven and earth, am alone the Welt Sup DPS one" I put him in Acheron(E2S1)Team, he can deal decent damage if you build him enough(his skill damage around 60-70K without bronya skill buff). Acheron + Welt + Bronya + Luocha is all enough for my dream team, from Hi3 story enjoyer
Acheron E0 and Sunday E0S1 works well together. Sundays LC buff Hymn at it's max 3 stacks making up for the damage difference between having 1 Nihility and 2 Nihility units, and giving Acheron up to an extra 100% CDMG based on Sundats CDMG
You're correct. Dr. Ratio works better with a Sub-DPS, you just wanna be sure you have enough debuff application to get that 100% chance to FUA. Topaz is the obvious choice, March 8th being the F2P alternative, and I think jade might work too. Your team should be, Ratio, sub-DPS, support, sustain. Aventurine would be the best sustain because the debuff from Aven's Ultimate increases crit DMG taken greatly! If you have Aventurine, equip Trend LC to inflict a Burn, and for support, choose either Robin OR Jiaoqiu/Pela. Sunday if you have him. if you don't have those, Ruan Mei or a 4⭐ I feel like the dev team intended originally, for Ratio to be a hypercarry, but then the FUA team became what enabled him to work so well with it. Hyper carry in theory works because with energy batteries you could have unlimited Ultimate uptime, so his FUA would be popping off
there is one case where boothill needs super break support, against enemies with multiple toughness gauges (such as boss Sunday) since break damage on these type of enemies only calculates one toughness bar (break damage depends on toughness gauge length), boothill’s damage is also severely nerfed Super break is unaffected by this since it depends on toughness damage of the attack instead Also fugue’s exo-toughness can also stack boothill’s passive stacks, making him much more effective
Mono Quantum doesn't even synergize with themselves. 1. Silver Wolf is single target, and ALL Quantum DPS are AoE (yes, even Seele). Good luck getting a kill reset with Seele. 2. Sparkle can't keep up with Seele & her buffs doesn't last long enough. 3. Silver Wolf & Sparkle never needed Mono Quantum in the first place. - Sparkle only needs 3 (including her) to max out her Quantum Trace - Silver Wolf just needs teammates with the matching enemy's weakness. Also Yunli is completely immune to CC. You don't use Huohuo for cleanse, you use her for battery.
yeah mono quantum has consistently been seele's worst performing team, hypercarry seele has always been a lot better, it's just that the community has used mono quantum far more often
@@riccardototo9737 Literally just time your Ult properly 💀. That's the whole point of using Yunli. You can also just pair her with all the batteries in the game for more Ult spam (Tingyun Huohuo Sunday). ERR rope if that's somehow still not enough.
Mono-element teams are basically over. The four best DPSes in the game all have mechanics that ignore weakness or implant it. And now, Fugue fans can make _every_ DPS ignore elements to break. Essentially, we're at a point where we can compare units more directly against each other versus the elements being a niche
I am now seriously regretting skipping Sunday (waiting for Amphoreus) and Robin (didn't think i need her). I watched this for King Yuan, Ratio and Feixiao, so you can probably imagine the pain I'm in
Clara is actually not picky about her sustain option, as long as they can solo-sustain AND don't have any aggro related gimmick themselves. This makes Gepard as the worst choice that needs to be avoided at all cost, because of his taunt passive. Otherwise, just about any "solo-capable" sustain is a fair game for her. That being said, if you're gonna go for a Preservation sustain like Fu Xuan or Aventurine, you need to make sure NOT to equip them with any LC that boosts their aggro, namely the Moment of Victory or the Landau's Choice. You'll want to buff only Clara's aggro and no one else's, for an effective use of her counter attacks. I'm glad that you mentioned both a dual carry team and a hyper carry team for Clara, because she can be just as good in either setup. Despite her reactive playstyle, she's still a FuA user, so she can do substantially good in her own dual carry team, i.e a CART team. You'll most likely want Yunli's sig LC equipped on Clara though, to ensure that she can maintain a high aggro on herself constantly. On the other hand, in her own hyper carry team, you can use Tingyun's energy battery to support Clara's aggro, because Clara's ult has a self aggro boost, so Yunli's sig LC is simply optional.
ugh returning player from way back in 1.5 and a King Yuan main, e6s5 literally 2 days late for Sunday. hopefully his re-run is on the sooner side than the later side.
Fugue (E0S0) is actually only a side grade at best for Firefly, who doesn't care for the weakness ignore but really wants HMCs increased Superbreak. Firefly's best base team would be Fugue replacing Ruan Mei or sustain, not HMC who is very essential. Fugue is absolutely BiS for Rappa/Boothill though and by a huge amount
Nobody beats my loved triple DoT Menace of E2 Kafka, E1 BS and E2 Jiaoqiu. Just waiting for a physical sustain who heals by inflicting some bleed shenanigans. (Copium and Fingers Crossed on Obsidian)
Lingsha joins Black Swan in "5% worse than a four star character" club. Meanwhile HSR players get more and more delusional, some even claiming that Fugue is just straight up worse than Harmony Trailblazer (Probably by "5%") (No, she won't be just because you are not pulling her)
@AudreyYuri Well, you clearly have no idea what are you talking about. Firstly - E0S0 BS not 5% worst, but 17% better then E6 Sampo. This is math, you can cope whatever you want, just pull E1S1 to feel difference, bruh. Secondly - Fraud is sidegrade for Gala, outside of PF. She can't spam QPQ for HMC S5 DDD every turn, that's minus cycle or even two, depends on team speed. Finally - Ting 2.0 can't replace HMC S5 DDD spam AGAIN, she's literally worse then HMC, but we will use RMC with Herta/Algae, so you kinda have to use downgraded version if you still coping with Break in 2025. And even if you pull E1S1 - she's replacing RM, not HMC, in best FF team. Boothil and Skippa maybe different story, I don't have them, so i don't care.
@@UnbelievableLins I did not read all of stuff you said, but I got that you thought my messages was serious. It was NOT, I was talking about a joke that he made in the part about Lingsha in the video, which is about weird tendency of HSR players to underrate upcoming characters, likely simply because they are not going to pull them. Not many people know this but best sustain for Blade's team is definitely Lynx because Lynx is the only character being able to buff max hp. But then, who plays Blade.
This makes me want to pull Robin not because of the Meta but because of Sunday. I bet he wants to be with Robin, even their synergy is good in game. ✊😭
Welt is a main DPS. Throw him in a hypercarry team with Sunday + any slot 3 + any sustain and he works quite well. Please do not brick him by making him a support.
I don’t get it is this just ”which strong characters can ignore the weak characters weaknesses” instead of ”which character synergizes best in which team”? Both both Bailu and Gepard have clear synergies with weaker character like Yanqing. No hate I just think some teams are kind of random. You could even say Bailu synergizes with super break since they delay actions which in turn reduces your chances of chances of getting ccd. Feels a bit lazy to just put them in a random meta team with no explanation.
Bailu's toolkit does incentivize the use of certain characters. I'd suggest Bronya or Sunday to compensate for Bailu's lack of cleanse. She also provides a Max HP buff, which is actually quite appreciated by Blade. This triangle is completed nicely by the fact that Blade works well with Bronya's and Sunday's Action Advance. Ultimately though, it is still a team with a DPS from before the 2.X era, but the synergy is good. I understand why some of the teams go along the lines of "which strong characters can ignore the weak characters' weaknesses," but I don't really like it. But I do keep track of Destruction Trailblazer clears (I've made playlists to keep track of them), and I did notice that the last teams using them in endgame that I saw before they stopped appearing altogether were dual-DPS teams with Hunt March and Robin, so there's some truth to this in practice unfortunately. By the way, as for Yanqing, I'd consider his best team core to be Yanqing + Robin + Aventurine unsurprisingly, but it's not actually that cope since Yanqing has good synergy with both of them. Sunday/Ruan Mei/Tingyun/Hunt March 7th would be the flex.
Turned on VPN just to skip to DH (love him) and rant about how everyone puts Sparkle when even us DH mains have given up on her, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although I would change Huohuo for Aventurine for more SP and 20+% (I have E1 Aven) Crit Damage.
Welt does very well in a Acheron Team cause his skill and ultimate applies Slow debuff (action delay nowadays) Welt does very well with Ruan Mei too in Super Break cause of again his delay and bonus damage on broken enemies. Welt does very well with Fugue too cause now his biggest flaw is solved, inability to do damage to none imaginary enemies. Welt sadly has one flaw. his Damage is mediocre not Fantastic, but since he stil has the old unbalanced traces you can min max his damage to a GOOD level (sadly still not fantastic) but it beats most people who have LOW damage can only gotten MID.
12:32 i just really dislike how break characters outside of Boothill don't do damage without their HMC or Fugue. It just feels bad when support is the one dealing samage instead of just increasing it like with other supports. I love Firefly and Fugue as characters a lot, but they are part of the only architype i dislike to play, i only use Firefly because she clears easily.
13:12 I'm hoping for another fire support too, so we can have a full fire team for Firefly to abuse that fire weakness implant. Maybe they could release it to boost break again later on in version 3 when it won't be the main meta anymore.
@@jasonkeith2832 It depends on what they lean to, Fugue is more similar to HMC (minus ddd spam which is extremely relevant for break teams) rather than Ruan mei or Asta. They could make an upgraded version of Asta so basically a fire Ruan mei, kinda like they made 3 single action advance supports with Bronya, Sparkle and Sunday.
@@ivurisu6262 Asta kind of does have a Sunday to her Bronya with Robin, who is a team-wide buffer with a secondary niche damage type buff (FuA crit damage) and speed management (teamwide full advance).
Actually, Yanqing can do a lot of damage with Aventurine and Fu Xuan (Optional), due to damage reduction. Yanqing also needs a good hypercarry support, or someone that can taunt like Yunli. Recommended team lineup for Yanqing: (Characters w/ "*" behind their names must be placed on the 1st or last spot) 1. Yanqing Hypercarry (Requires Aventurine) Premium: Yanqing* + Robin/Sunday + Aventurine + Fu Xuan F2P: Yanqing* + [Any Amplifier w/o taunt] + Aventurine + Tingyun* 2. Yanqing+1 Follow-Up Premium: Yanqing* + Robin + Aventurine + Yunli* F2P: Yanqing* + [Any Shielder] + [Any non-hypercarry buffer] + Clara* Just to clarify, I also think that Yanqing is mid, but no one should be left alone in my opinion.
Glad to see a proper team for Yanqing, but I'm a little confused as to what Fu Xuan is for in the premium team as Aventurine should be sufficient for sustain. I think Yanqing + Robin + Aventurine is the crucial team core you want. Aventurine's synergy with both Robin and Yanqing should be obvious, but Yanqing is also a naturally fast character with a follow-up attack, even if it doesn't trigger consistently, which makes him pair well with Robin. I'd consider Sunday, Ruan Mei, Tingyun, and Hunt March 7th the recommended flex options in that team.
Its kinda a shame vars doesn't cover ZZZ I think he would really appreciate the level of endgame content that game has been receiving with the battle tower and deadly assault. With how much Vars seems to enjoy the variety of endgame modes in HSR, which is really good design. He is already covering three gatchas and ZZZ has very similar combat to Wuwa so I can understand. Anyway back to harmony rail

I slightly regret skipping Lingsha. Mono Fire looks like it could be really fun and strong if/whenever we get another really good 5* fire support.
Sad to see no Ip3 mention in the Ratio section, they’ve been my go to team for a long time now, paired with Robin they’re incredibly fun to play!!
ye the IP3 team deserves a mention, Aven ult gives a debuff, Topaz E1S1 gives debuffs. All benefits ratio. The first ever premium team I got.
watching this exactly 17 minutes away from Fugue's banner....🙏
Really confused about Clara being paired with a preservation sustain (aggro issues) as well as without Sunday. Her best team no doubt rn is HH Sunday Robin Clara.
Aventurine and Fu Xuan don't have aggro or taunt boost in their kits IIRC? only light cones can do it for them
@@angeldiaz762 preservation units have an automatic higher taunt, at 150 if I remember correctly. Destruction units stand at 125.
7:11 Daniel 😂
My favorite character: Daniel Heng
3:53 ive been doing a Welt, ruan mei, Fugue, Lingsha team with a S5 Pearls LC on Fugue, super super satisfying & fun team to play
"Throughout heaven and earth, am alone the Welt Sup DPS one"
I put him in Acheron(E2S1)Team, he can deal decent damage if you build him enough(his skill damage around 60-70K without bronya skill buff).
Acheron + Welt + Bronya + Luocha is all enough for my dream team, from Hi3 story enjoyer
12:45 i love this rhythm
Acheron E0 and Sunday E0S1 works well together. Sundays LC buff Hymn at it's max 3 stacks making up for the damage difference between having 1 Nihility and 2 Nihility units, and giving Acheron up to an extra 100% CDMG based on Sundats CDMG
10:11 RRAT team not mentioned but the hypercarry is. Isn't the FUA team better?
Sunday if you have him. if you don't have those, Ruan Mei or a 4⭐
I feel like the dev team intended originally, for Ratio to be a hypercarry, but then the FUA team became what enabled him to work so well with it. Hyper carry in theory works because with energy batteries you could have unlimited Ultimate uptime, so his FUA would be popping off
That description killed me!!
there is one case where boothill needs super break support, against enemies with multiple toughness gauges (such as boss Sunday) since break damage on these type of enemies only calculates one toughness bar (break damage depends on toughness gauge length), boothill’s damage is also severely nerfed
Super break is unaffected by this since it depends on toughness damage of the attack instead
Also fugue’s exo-toughness can also stack boothill’s passive stacks, making him much more effective
- Sparkle only needs 3 (including her) to max out her Quantum Trace
- Silver Wolf just needs teammates with the matching enemy's weakness.
Also Yunli is completely immune to CC. You don't use Huohuo for cleanse, you use her for battery.
yeah mono quantum has consistently been seele's worst performing team, hypercarry seele has always been a lot better, it's just that the community has used mono quantum far more often
No yunli it's not immune to CC always just duting the parry of ulty
@@riccardototo9737 Literally just time your Ult properly 💀. That's the whole point of using Yunli.
You can also just pair her with all the batteries in the game for more Ult spam (Tingyun Huohuo Sunday). ERR rope if that's somehow still not enough.
Mono-element teams are basically over. The four best DPSes in the game all have mechanics that ignore weakness or implant it. And now, Fugue fans can make _every_ DPS ignore elements to break. Essentially, we're at a point where we can compare units more directly against each other versus the elements being a niche
Welcome to HSR we have Aventurine, Lingsha, Huo^2, or Fu Xuan paired with Robin, Ruan Mei, Sunday, or a Break enabler now go have fun
Bro releasedthis vid on christmas (in my timezone) yay!!
7:35 I got lucky with Sunday's LC dupes so I did put a copy each on Sparkle and Sunday on my E2 DHIL team, literally unlimited SP works 😂
insane video concept god damn
Your videos butter My biscuits thank you
ugh returning player from way back in 1.5 and a King Yuan main, e6s5 literally 2 days late for Sunday. hopefully his re-run is on the sooner side than the later side.
"Lingsha: use for super break or follow-up"
Instructions unclear, running super break follow-up team of Lingsha/Sunday/Trailblazer/Ruan Mei
so you either take the strongest 3/4 of FUA team or SB team and slap the character you're talking about at the moment to it. got it
whoever Sunday and robins parents are must be like the thanos of hsr
My current best team by a long shot is Feixiao, E6 Robin, E1 Lingsha and E1 Jade! Feixiao with E1 Jade is actually an insane dual dps engine
counterpoint... Gallagher is really good in Acheron team and in superbreak (i just really like him)
I agree, I pulled Aventurine last month so now I use Gallagher in my SB Firefly team and Aventurine on my Acheron team
Jade’s power bottom in PF is a WILD read
0:08 BRO DID NOT JUST THROW SHADE AT TINGYUN LIKE THAT T-T... GIVE HER SOME REST, VARS😭😭😭😭😭
Is that a Setsuna Yuki reference in my Star Rail video? We love to see it
Fugue (E0S0) is actually only a side grade at best for Firefly, who doesn't care for the weakness ignore but really wants HMCs increased Superbreak.
Jiaoqiu in Yunli’s best team, VERY true, and I’m sick of people not understanding it!
i actually really love main dps lingsha+sub dps himeko together
i did my pulls today and got my e2 firefly (already had her e1) my fugue and fugue's lc :D. def a good christmas (i had 80 pulls, f2p)
Lingsha joins Black Swan in "5% worse than a four star character" club. Meanwhile HSR players get more and more delusional, some even claiming that Fugue is just straight up worse than Harmony Trailblazer (Probably by "5%") (No, she won't be just because you are not pulling her)
@AudreyYuri
Well, you clearly have no idea what are you talking about.
If you understand how silly it is, then I don't need to explain anything further.
Vars, on behalf of the 0.1% of Genshin players and 10% of Star Rail players...
You forgot us Traveler (and Venti) mains in your _Genshin's Best Team For Every 5 Stars_ video, and now you're also forgetting literally all playable versions of the Trailblazer :3
WOAH WOAH WOAH WE DO NOT TOLERATE YANQING SLANDER IN THIS HOUSEHOLD
0:34 Where's MrPokke?
One really good Welt team is Welt + RM + Sunday and either HMC or Tingyun and good luck seeing the enemies move ever again
This video felt like that one meme of that guy trying to connect the dots...😅
I'm a little surprised you didn't mention the Clara - Yunli retaliate meta team
Not many people know this but best sustain for Blade's team is definitely Lynx because Lynx is the only character being able to buff max hp. But then, who plays Blade.
That f*** at the yanqing part 😂, I could feel your pain
This makes me want to pull Robin not because of the Meta but because of Sunday. I bet he wants to be with Robin, even their synergy is good in game. ✊😭
Welt is a main DPS. Throw him in a hypercarry team with Sunday + any slot 3 + any sustain and he works quite well.
Please do not brick him by making him a support.
Yanqing hate is so relatable \(^^)/
There is a fire support who both provides a damage buff and a speed boost: Asta.
@jasonkeith2832 It would be nice if they ever released a 5 star fire harmony to replace harmony mc/ruan mei
@@ivurisu6262 I mean, isn't that kind of the niche that Fugue fits right into, minus being a harmony character?
Sunday, Robin, Huohuo....HSR.
16:05 actually… not BIS for firefly afaik (may be wrong tho), NOT weak either don’t get me wrong
E1 jade turns feixao into a PF destroyer
11:22 it is been calculated for E0S1 Acheron it is better to bring Sunday/robin and jiaoqiu
Okay, now do best 4-star team for every 4-star.
Actually, Yanqing can do a lot of damage with Aventurine and Fu Xuan (Optional), due to damage reduction.
Yanqing also needs a good hypercarry support, or someone that can taunt like Yunli.
Recommended team lineup for Yanqing: (Characters w/ "*" behind their names must be placed on the 1st or last spot)
1. Yanqing Hypercarry (Requires Aventurine)
Premium: Yanqing* + Robin/Sunday + Aventurine + Fu Xuan
F2P: Yanqing* + [Any Amplifier w/o taunt] + Aventurine + Tingyun*
2. Yanqing+1 Follow-Up
Premium: Yanqing* + Robin + Aventurine + Yunli*
F2P: Yanqing* + [Any Shielder] + [Any non-hypercarry buffer] + Clara*
Just to clarify, I also think that Yanqing is mid, but no one should be left alone in my opinion.
@@Aeondrew- Thank you for further explanation! ^_^
you can run Welt as a sustain on E0 Acheron teams to get that harmony slot!
I play DHIL with Sunday, Mei, and typically Adventurine. I'll have to try out adding sparkle.
