The screens a good size. The 3 layer thing makes the screen look reaaaaally good. Only problem is if it's really sunny, u need some shade to look at the watch
thats what i was thinking when they came out with the first one. they could fit it in that ring with the hour marks and with that you could possibly get a much longer usage with it especially if you are using it on the basic mode.
Look up the matrix power watch 2. It uses the difference in your body heat and the outside temperature to generate energy, and has a ring for solar energy on top

What Casio doesn't tell u is that u have to re calculate ur GPS and restart ur watch every time I plan on using the mapping the feature.i had to figure that one out on my own. Idk why they keep saying "3 days of mapping capabilities" .....u get about 20hrs on a full 100% charge....given u restarted it and recalculated the GPS which will automatically drain 4-6% straight off the back.
My issue with my WSD F20 is the battery life and also no heartbeat sensor . So I usually put in Timepiece mode all the time when I am not using the functions and for my work out, I got a Samsung Gear for it. This F30 should come with kinetic charging or solar powered for extending the battery life.
I'm with ya! I like the look of the watch, but that 'Protrek' font, looks like some cheap Chinese export. I have the same problem with the font on the Arcteryx backpack range.

Das nervige Aufladen mit dem Magnet-Kabel wurde leider auch nicht verbessert, es funktioniert mehr schlecht als recht und das Kabel geht schnell kaputt. 1,5 bis 2 Tage Akkulaufzeit ist leider auch nicht auf der Höhe der Zeit, manche anderen Uhren schaffen locker 8 bis 20 Tage....Und dann fast den doppelten Preis verlangen als die Mitbewerber, die weit mehr Funktionen bieten. Sorry Casio im Smartwatch-Bereich habt ihr mich dieses Jahr als Kunden verloren.....
I have the F20 and thought about getting the F30 - but no NFC, Casio? Really? However, most if the stuff on these watches is useless, display way too small to navigate, maps useless, etc. I wish there would be more WaerOS watches with transflective LCD and 5-10 days battery life. This dual display stuff is kind of neat, but just a try.
This is a manly rugged watch comparable to a G-Shock period for the people wanting all glass that is not rugged you might want to go with Apple they're a little bit more whimpier
Android Wear OS is garbage but I like the design of this Casio smartwatch. It's a nice balance between efficiency and power with the monochrome display option. No other smartwatch has this feature.
Shame on you casio your watches use to have plenty of functionally now minor improvements across this particular range I have the wsd10 , 20 and 30, I will wait for the wsd 100.China are selling smart watches for £8.00 ,maybe the wsd 40 will have a heart rate monitor who know come on casio!

It would be cool if they could make a solar powered smart watch. It may not fully charge the device but at least provide a few more hours usage.

Dude there was no need to move your finger everywhere we can see what is going on the screen, just explain the functionality.
