Believe it or not, two dry fire drills over the course of a day or two is what made me VERY GOOD with a pistol. I only practiced like 20 minutes a day. So like 40 minutes total took me from a a good shooter to an excellent shooter
Awesome, video. I love the running drill. I'm no tactical expert not even close. But, I love to turkey hunt and one of the hardest things to do is to slip up a big hill on a gobbling bird, be all out of breath, and try to use a mouth call to call him in close. Your heart rate is up, your can't get your breath and then you have to be able to run a mouth call with slow even breathing. I can only imagine how this would affect my shooting accuracy in a defense scenario. I'm going to have to try this. So many times we practice things but, don't add real life scenarios, like this. Thanks for the great ideas.

Yet, he is against manual safeties on pistols, because you might forget to disengage it 🤨 I just don't like most pistols that have a 'battlestation', but after training extensively on one, I can't carry a decocker because I keep decocking. Gun is up, safety is off; gun is down, safety is on. Its integrated into the handling, just like controlling the trigger. If I can control the trigger and slide lock, why would I dick up the safety?

@Twiggy Bones What 'extra step'? Is that like the extra step of aligning the sights and pressing the trigger? Seems like it would save a lot of time to just point and yank. There is no 'extra step', its integrated into the draw stroke.
