SO GLAD you’re coming back this week! 🥳 I’m having Mark withdrawal. 😅 (And all the OCDers said, “Amen!” 🙃)

6:16 😶 I think most of us OCD sufferers feel that.

My favorite part of this video: 7:12 - 7:41
"Learn to be loved and share what you're learning... That's ministry, folks" 🤪🥰
    *
I also love 8:12 - 9:03. I didn't understand the meaning of "His mercies are new every morning," until you provided the bread analogy 😊

One of my friends on Sunday had this year verse. Romans chapter 10 verse 11. "As the Scripture says: anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." That hit me. I was like wow!

O my goodness...must say something more (as I listen more).
    This is so helpful.
I need to be reminded on who I am in Christ. Not a sinner but a saint who sometimes sins. Rom 5

😂😂 So funny Mark. I'm sure you know this already with all of your studies and maybe someone else has already pointed it out, but in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, one of the strategies is to take your scary thoughts and put a funny voice to it. 😂 So you've got that covered.

Mark, I have been listening to a number of your videos and they are transforming my life and bringing me peace. I came out of a religion that preached God’s love, but also pushed a strong emphasis on performance. I mean, God’s love for me was always presented, but ultimately the message of performance was GREATER and overshadowed God’s love. Unless I could do, and maintain some “really right” living every day, then God would feel bad about it, and though He loved me deeply, He just wouldn’t be able to save me. I always had trouble understanding how His love would be so great, yet I could be so awful, that He would not be able to save me. It never helped that there were a lot of old testament stories where God took swift, harsh action against some of his people when they erred. So between all of it, I lived in a pretty constant state of insecurity about God’s salvation for ME. And what was really insidious about these thoughts and messages is not only that I could easily be "unsaveable" but they ultimately left me unable to REALLY love God.
I’ve listened to many messages about God’s love, but most never get to the heart of the issue like you do. Thank you so much for sharing with us day by day. God bless you.

When we are struggling with our walk with God we should go back to the beginning, “what’s the beginning?” John 3:16 For God so loved me that He gave Jesus for my sins to make me His son/daughter - go back to love, Gods never ending, unfailing love for us.

I keep thinking if God doesn't "force" that love for us then the sins won't stop. And no wonder that we cannot really change.
I keep only hearing about sin or a few sins that are like habits that people can break and over come because you can do something about it in action. And the Bible stories how punishment consiquences curses happen from even one sin! And what they had to do to be forgiven or weren't forgiven. But the understanding this was why and what Jesus had to come to die for our sins.
I really struggle to repent and faith seems to be blocked from sin but I still believe in God/Christ
That brokenness in me from "sin nature" how it is so infused with life!
But also not really want to fight it but see because of not fighting guarding or defending. I see how exhausting it is then avoid doing it. Then other sins and issues stack up for me 😔
Then I get told making excuses for being lazy and that I'm "denying" Christ not doing anything and also become negative in a destructive way or just don't care. Disconnect as a coping mechanism. But may also seem like depending on what Jesus has done not what I do comes across to others as an excuse for sin or that I don't want to do anything.

Hi Mark! I would like to ask you if you could do a broadcast on End times and rapture? I would like to know more about this but i feel anxious about reading it in the Bible or listening to anyone else.

Hey, there is a missionary ministry called FAI Studios and they do sober, not fear-based end times teaching that I believe is very accurate to what the Bible says. They don’t pressure or scare anyone by saying you better be ready but they speak truth in love, hope that helps :)

No worries about that! 🤓 I sent him two versions of the same question because I feared the first one was too long. 🤭😳🙈😅🤣 He wrote back and said the first one was not too long. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 And he answered the original question on a live. 😄

    Hi Mark,
Is there anyway that maybe you could read the whole letter before you talk about the things that stick out for you? Only because, I do think your points are very interesting and helpful but it’s very distracting when you go into a point and then eventually go back to the letter. Not meant to be a criticism, just would help me to listen easier, honestly.

Do you really go to hell if you had an intrusive thought about blaspheming the Holy Spirit?

    • @shanetasadie
      @shanetasadie 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Intrusive thoughts are usually unwanted and go against what you value. That’s why they terrify you. I know mine caused me bad anxiety. Please check out Marks videos in the topic. They helped me tremendously. May God bless you, and protect you, and redirect your mind to His grace and love for you.

God's love welcomes you into God's connection. Yoou gonna learn love that God loves you in your sins. WHy do you look for love in that sexual moment? Why your emptyness of yoour heart goes for that?? You act out in the way which is sexually and then you feel guilty about it and then you say i never do again.. You are again in the perform driving cycle but you repeat the cycle. Stop and say that i'm loved right now and God in his grace why i do what i do that i can invite his grace to me..
