- One of the great enemies to an empowered focus in life is double mindedness. In this video I want to show you what double mindedness is, how it keeps us from living in freedom and how you can experience an empowered faith, while also receiving the wisdom of God that is available to you right now.
I will also uncover the issues of:

Wow amen this was powerful. The Holy Spirit has been speaking through you to me these last couple days. Thank you 🙏🏼 OCD is the “what if” disease/demon. It puts you in a lose lose situation. You fear failure from either decision you make. It can paralyze you. This was so helpful. Thank you 🙏🏼

Yes it is I have OCD also. This with my treatment is a blessing because funny enough a big part of my treatment has been face it and this message is saying to make a decision, to not agonize in fear.

Wow I know the Lord led me to this channel. So many different doctrines out there and I became confused and disheartened so I prayed that’s God would lead me to someone who speaks truth that I can trust.

Thanks Mark, I have been going through this through the last 4 years. I realize now it is my unbelief in God's goodness that produces this double mindedness. I have full confidence in His Goodness and can go to His throne expecting His goodness regardless of whether or not I am e perfect. His grace is sufficient
Very good lesson sir! Also sin contradicts your relationship, thus encouraging doubt the more. It starts with obedience, which creates the parameter that reminds you what not to do. Obedience helps to ward off double mindedness by holding you accountable.
You find yourself choosing to not doubt because it is disrespectful.

I’ve been incredibly double minded - and of course when you get a little age, you see with hindsight, whether your decision worked out exactly as you wanted or opened another path, god caught you or taught you along the way. But the doubt, the double-mindedness is the biggest pain, bigger than the ‘failure’ even.
I’ve struggled with OCD and doubt my whole life. My father was a narcissist. It doubt myself at almost every turn but ever since I got saved it has been better. God has helped me a lot and has honored the steps I’ve taken in faith. The part that’s hard to remember is that he is a good father who loves me.

"All or nothing perfectionism" my comments was relating to this topic... being like a double minded fell into a bad mindset easily.
Yes really believe that we do have so much pressure on us and that love and faith from God what gives real power to people and especially for all of us who really need it.

I really enjoyed the teaching. It helped me alot. I pray I can do it. I fast, I pray. I read and study the WORD alot. I just keep struggling with this and my mother was bipolar. As a believer I fight this and do not accept it in my life. The Word says I have a sound mind and not a spirit of fear. But this is not the manifestation in my life yet. I will get the book. I need to know how to apply it and do it. I believe i have the knowledge its putting it into practice......getting rid of doubt and knowing God is kind merciful and loving.

As a hobby I make music, especially Gospel music, But I also make music about other things that are not explicitly christian but obviously don't Glorify sin, but I can't make up my mind to do the other songs instead of Just Gospel, but this word freed me. I will make music with different genres and let God show me what he really wants me to do as I actually do it

@@stevenbaxter9099 I end up reading "the easy way to stop smoking" by allen carr. He kinda helps put everything in perspective to be single-minded. He promised by the end of the book you will quit smoking... I did for 6 and half weeks.
Fell off the wagon yesterday, but I also live with other smokers. 🤷♀️

@@stevenbaxter9099 oooh! another thing also you reminded me... Thank God for taking the cigarette addiction or nicotine addiction everytime you smoke or think of a cigarette (yes while your smoking)... I did that for a week before I started the book and while read it. I learned that from Joyce Meyers testimony and another pastor. Joyce did for two weeks, the other fellow did for 3-4 weeks before he quit. Just be patient with yourself. When the time right you'll be ready and happy about quitting. Don't be so hard on yourself about quitting, just know you will when your ready.

Without contradicting what you are saying ... Yes, in essence you are right.
However...When a decision is a "life changing matter", I want to be wise and consider the consequence of my choice without analysis paralysis.
Example : Very recently, "if" I would have made a decision in a moment, signing that contract, the implication would have been $40,000 owed in taxes.
So ... I frequently step out in faith, praying and knowing God our Father is by my side, I slow down and think it through. HE creates good information as I take things 1 step at a time and not rashly jump in, or jump too far ahead. I believe this is healthy wisdom.
Balance is needed!
A baby doesn't learn to walk if the baby does not stand up putting one foot in front of the other, as you say. But, the key is one has to start somewhere and those with issues with constant double-mindedness, God wants them to step out in faith and believe Him through the process of trusting Him as they learn, walk and grow in that balance as they remain consistent in seeing God's faithfulness. As we continue to make the steps forward and trust in God increases, we are less afraid of making solid single choices. God knows how to catch us when we miss it just like we help our babies up when they fall in efforts towards walking. That's the wisdom of God. When establishing that consistency, wisdom and statue increases. A baby doesn't start at a 5 year old level doing anything. They grow to it.

I had a hard time following the illustration maybe if the illustration of wisdom being a seed was used it would have been easy to follow so I was a bit lost following the internal dialogues.
