These are both some bad arse dudes, but Folayang took that fight, and with relative ease. Parr had the 30 second barrage at the end of the 3rd, but for the most part it was all Folayang. Personally, I thought Parr’s strategy was ill conceived for this fight. Every time he took strikes and backed up, he rushed back to Folayang and immediately found himself within range. Running back up to your opponent is can be a good strategy but you don’t run directly back in to range.
Regardless, JW Parr is a legend and a gentleman. His emotions were palpable as he thanked the crowd.
