No i think grigorian just decided to put on a lot of pressure from the first second, which tired both of them out
Marat's punches missed a lot of targets. Despite stepping forward, Superbon defends, counters with a knee and a kick to the body. Looking back at the video in slow motion, it is clear that 3:2/4:1, the referee is correct. They are professionals and come from many nationalities.❤
marats durability is insane. He barely even blocked shots but still stood fine at the end. still happy superbon won
This is due to the way we train in the Netherlands. We do body conditioning every training. for example, we let someone punch us in the belly. Or by having someone kick your legs. And we do a lot of sit-ups around every 5-10 minutes ( that's what most gym's do here not all ). And even when we practice combinations, we just let ourselves be kicked on the legs. And the main reason we do this is because of our style. Our style is to come forward with pressure and punch with combinations and chop down the legs. And for that you need a really strong body. Hope this information helped you in some way.

That why he lose this fight. KB Rule score clean shot even if it effects is low. If Marat block some of those not that hard shot from Superbon outcome may be different.

Another great battle between the 2 warriors. Very entertaining.
Superbon won every round.
Marat almost took the third round ( closest round of the fight ).
Superbon is now 2-0 against both Sittichai and Marat ( despite losing by KO to both of them in his first fight against them ).
I think he proved that he can do way better in rematches than in his first fight, with a solid gameplan he might beat Chingiz.

Fourth was definitely Grigorian as I scored it, but I'll have to rewatch. 3 and 5 were razer close.

That's exactly how Buakaw used to fight foreigners. Good fight actually. Smart. Didn't put on much of a show obviously, but a quiet and calculated win.
Superbons kicks were extremely clean and constant

How did Marat take all those step in knees? He was coming in swinging and catching those knees straight to the chest and gut.
Training and CONDITIONING built that muscle of MARAT enough to take many more KNEES from SUPERBON.

Close fight. But under round by round scoring system Superbon won the fight.
I'm a Superbon fan through & through .
But to be honest, I've had 3 rounds to Marat and 2 to Superbon.
A split decision could have been understood, but a unanimous one is stretching it a bit too far.
In any case, both fighters gave us a fight that was clearly below what I was expecting and what they can do...
I'm a tad disappointed overall...

Superbon more volume and variety in his shots, punches, high/mid/low kicks and knees every few seconds. The better fighter by far. Marat as expected just a few punches and low kicks landed.
If Marat can implement his kicks more, he will be a hard one to stop…

Great fight. Superbon landed more hard knees to the body than I've seen since Dieselnoi. I thought they would slow down or hurt Griogrian but he must be in excellent shape as he kept coming and landed many hard punches.
Close fight, Marat landed some nice hand combos but kept on eating those heavy knees.
I miss the BIG KAYBOSH mike schiavello on the commentary, he was so fun on the play-by-play!

Smart to target Marat body with heavy knees and kicks in 1st. It stifled his ability to attack effectively from distance.

Более справедливым было бы раздельное решение на мой взгляд. Определенно одно: когда вернется в ринг чемпион, шансов ни у кого из этих двух не будет😊

Close 3-2 Marat, R3 was the round that made me hesitate but if you look closely more than half of the knees of Superbon are defended or deflected, and marat has higher volume output.

2. Superbon is 1 year older than grigorian and had more fight so if you say Grigorian is past his prime then superbon would also be as well

@@Speedofdark339 Superbon is the one who must be past his prime as he is not only older than Marat but also Superbon has fought 151 times and most of those fights were 5 rounds Muay Thai fights with weigh-in the same day as the fight ( which heavily damage the organs as they don't have enough time to properly hydrate ).
Marat on the other hand only has 83 fights and nearly all of them are 3 rounds Kickboxing fights with weigh-in a day prior to the fight.
Most of Superbon's fights are against evenly matched opponents as in the Muay Thai circuits in Thailand the gamblers are betting so it's rare to see mistmatches.
Most of Marat opponents are nowhere near his level as Kickboxing is not as competitive as Muay Thai in Thailand is ( which is where most of Superbon's career took place at ).
WHY HIM?
Looking at the comments, common sense still prevails. Most agree Marat should have won.
It’s sad Marat was also lacklustre here, making the line blurred. Superbon was gassed out and panting, but Marat was the same and just couldn’t finish the job. Chingiz would have put Superbon to sleep like the first time.
Chingiz is technically superior and has way better cardio, all Superbon has is that high kick that once neutralised, makes Superbon a defanged snake.
The line was not blurred for me lol. Marat won every round but round 1.
Chingiz cardio is great in the first two rounds, but drops drastically after that, as seen in his fight against Marat. Marat had some great moments against Chingiz after he got tired, better than what he did here against Superbon.
Also, the number of comments that favour Marat isn’t a clear indication that he did better. Most of them are probably based purely on the observation that he pressured constantly and landed a few nice punches. The reality is more complex than that, and I think Superbon deserves great credit for never letting Marat find his flow and consistently neutralizing his combinations with damaging shots.
Chingiz almost got rock by marat In fifth round if it had another 40 sec more ching would be KO
@@dreadknot2238 hard to say, Marat was getting tired too. I think if he’d spent less energy during the Chingiz storm in the first two rounds, his combos in the later rounds would have been more damaging. He had more in the tank than Chingiz at the end, but still not that much
