How SEBI is Ruining IA and RA Professionals ?

- The stock market gives immense ways of earning money. You can become an investor, trader, broker, or authorised person to make money in the stock market.
If someone doesn’t want to do any of these, a person can register himself with SEBI as an investment advisor to passively make money from the stock market.
But despite having a lucrative career as an investment advisor there are less than 1400 registered investment advisors in India if you search ‘investment advisor’ on Just Dial in any city you will get thousands of contacts.
So why people don’t want to register themselves as a registered investment advisor with SEBI?
There are many hurdles and reasons for that. For instance, to become a SEBI registered person the applicant should have a net worth of ₹5 lakh and if it is a firm net worth must be ₹50 lakh
Also one should have a NISM certification, he has to follow the code of conduct regulation as prescribed in SEBI Investment Advisor Regulation 2013, and whatnot.
After doing all these things what he earns? As per SEBI rules an investment advisor can not charge more than 1.25 lakh rupees from a client for his services. Also in case he handles assets he can not charge more than 2.50% of the value of assets under management.
SEBI rules on investment advisors prohibit deals and securities so there are not many avenues for earning as an investment advisor.

I was thinking to get license but not now. Happy in selling mutual funds and insurance. Actually govt don't want to let people earn , and on the other hand promoting entrepreneurship and आत्म निर्भर भारत. 😂

Much needed video I also aspired to be an RA but i don't i will if it's this much regulation 😅😢and the single income source is so bogus RT rule from bebi, I really hate bebi with my all now.They aren't doing anything good for retailers and traders they just want to make profit and profit its not behaving like a government body but a private enterprise focused on money 🤑.
it has done nothing positive for retailer s but doing everything they can in negative direction for stock market education, growth and wealth creation for common man.There should be a way to challenge all laws of bebi in court.

But I really found it funny when you said at the end of the video...."Ma'am, Sir"....As long as people in India have this thought process, we will keep suffering. The issue here is that today, government officials have completely forgotten where their salaries come from. They are called public servants for a reason. Because their salary comes from taxes paid by the common man. So, I fail to understand why the "Sir or Ma'am". In the US, the ideology is completely opposite of this. The supreme court judge over there will address a serial killer who has committed the worst crimes as "Sir". Because people have a clear understanding of the system there. But sadly, here people are too awestruck by the position a public servant holds in and forget the hardcore fact about who their actual employers are and why the post is held in the first place. It is to serve our country, and countries are made by its citizens, not politicians and government employees.
Please make a video on this topic as well so that people actually become better aware and informed about what their position and rights are.

It doesn't care about retailers at all🤯you can see it in its actions the past 3 years Tell me one thing which was for the sake of retail traders🤐
1.Took away leverage with a bogus nonsense justification🤬
2.Implemented 100% margin rule 😞
3.Increased STT(which btw is already illegal tax no country has it besides ours, 😕)to more than 50% , it looks less on contract note but your profits will hugely be affected because you pay tax on losses too.
4.No use of the budget allocated for education for retailers bebi is just keeping it for itself 🥲
5.Also many internal scams in Bebi such as promotion of that one man consecutively and his salary went upto crores in just 3 to 4 years

This is such wonderful information Sir. One questions..you mentioned that an IR or RA cannot have any other source of income. But can an RA IA invest in stocks themselves?

1. When there is no motivation, cap on profit, no other income why they take licence? I think if someone agree to such conditions is fool.
2. One of the major reason for Small companies to be profitable is huge maddening profit margins of branded companies.

Sebi's new move to increase their earnings by selling registered/license for one to become Finfluencer. No hate, but the trend of these regulators, exchanges, etc are not that much favorable for retail investors, apparently it's becoming harder to get healthy returns from the market across the segments.
Years back Sebi withdraw Margin/Leverage trading, but when anything happens to the retailer when their NSE system failure, data glitch, etc we as investors/trader's bear the losses. They say they're working for betterment of the retailer, but are they really?
I've cleared NISM XA & XB but I don't think it will help me for my career any more.
there are so many documentations and so mane fake advisors are there, people don't believe actual advise. the want false promise.
I was also thinking to give the exams on the derivative segments would you recommend it is it worth it. My intent is to land a stable job from it first because right now I'm a student in my bachelor's in arts.
@@Neuraltrades Derivative examination is required if you want to use specific software ODIN.!!! many people rent the samw certificate for thia software as discussed in this video.!!! If you want to do trading then it may not help you.!!!

@@Neuraltrades initially try to know about your personality.!!!! If you are analytical person or mathematical person.!!! If you are storng at analytics and conservative, emotional person then don't do trading. Prefer being analyst.

Registered IA RA has to maintain strong compliance. They do not use guaranteed word. If violation, strict action is taken by SEBI. There are restriction imposed by SEBI in terms of investment done by themselves. Registered IA, RA are like financial certified doctors. Which are very low in number. Just go and check the compliance and process on official SEBI site for IA RA. You will come to know the pain.

Unregistered IA RA are like componders of medicine shops. People like to hear high or guranteed return with very low or no risk. These componders are expert with that. But if something goes wrong, in any case most of the time. People will start blaming along with actual SEBI-registered IA RA who played no role in it. As already they are below 2000 only both combined in Pan India.
