Oh Kathryn your tutorials are so fantastic! I’m always learning something new and out side the box from you. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing your great teaching! 🌟🌟🌟❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
I know you did this a couple years ago, but I just found it and I'm so excited to try this product! I was able to find a kit priced quite reasonably on Amazon so YAY! Thank you for sharing your experience and talent!~
I started my jewellery making journey with these cold enamel powders, then found the wonders of polymer clay. How clever of you to bring these two together. Going to dig my Efcolor kit out now, this is a fabulous tutorial, thank you.
Oh these are beautiful! I’m putting the enamel powders on my Amazon shopping list! You’ve sure had many great ideas for projects. I love watching them! 💗
Thank you for this. Bought several colors 2-3 years ago and not done a thing with them. Even bought the little candle powered stove. (Have you tried that?). Now you've spurred me on to play with these. Can't wait to see more from you on this technique.
You are so welcome! I have a 'melt pot' its like an electric version of the tea light stove, so that works a treat for my non clay pendants and the such
Englisch Hello, thank you for the great video. But one question: Cernit has a different firing temperature than Efcolor. Isn't that a problem (for Cernit)? Thanks
Hi Mario..... It melts quiet easy at 130.... I've mainly used on copper metal but as you can see it work well at 130 temp no flaking and bonds to clay very well x
Kathryn, you just do such lovely work! These are beautiful! The colors with copper are wonderful! Thank you!❤️🌷 Do you have an art background? Have you been an art teacher in schools? Just curious…nevertheless, your work is stunning! I appreciate it that you share with us!!! God bless you!
@@KathrynHalstead Thanks Kathryn! And thank you for showing that this product works on clay. I've had some EF Color hanging around my craft supplies for ages and I haven't been brave enough to use it. Now I have a project to try it on!

Kathryn I love your work.. I cannot find Efco enamelling powders, here in Aus. Grrrrrrr so frustrating. Can’t try this technique.. not happy Jan!!!
Try embossing powders Deb! try a search for 'cold enamels' you may find a non brand on etsy maybe?
Love them!❤
Nice. Thank you! 💕💜

Very pretty, thank you
Thank you! 😊
Ooh I like the effect of this stuff, more spending required lol.
Thank you 🤟🏻❤️💋
You're welcome x
Nikolina Otrzan has a couple tuts on low-temp enamels that are quite good.
I'm afraid I don't know of Nikolina, Gillian... but i'll certainly check her out x
Can they be used to get a faux raku effect?
I cant say as I've tried Suzan.... but give it a go ha ha ha
The enamels are in my basket ya bugger lol x
oops sorry ha ha ha
Please wear a mask with these. Breathing in glass dust is no joke. Silicosis is bad.
Janet they're not glass based.... but yes safety first .... I'm always careful and did say to wear a mask in video xx hugs
