    Wow! I loved this video tutorial / experiment between using embossing powders and low temp enamel on your beads. I am a complete beginner in using polymer clay, having just played around with it before during a demonstration a couple of years ago. I like the difference between the smooth and the more textured finishes of the powder v the enamel. thank-you for sharing it with us.

    Thanks for this great and unique tutorial! I love how shiny and detailed and perfect the low temp Ef Color enamels came out for this. I don't make jewelry with clay yet, I make dollhouse miniatures so I love seeing different things like this to give me ideas of new materials I could use in making minis. I love those stencils as well. I have a question - can you please let me know where you bought those round metal dome things or what they are called? You said you can make them out of cans, but I would rather just buy. If you made those out of cans - can you please do a video on making those - I cannot figure out how you can make that with a can bottom. It seems a high dome - please also tell let me know what kind of can it is. I looked in your tools/Material list and links, but I didn't see one for the domes. THANK YOU so much!!

    Thank you Ludmila for this very pretty experience.
    When you made the first cabochons with the enamel powder, did you use a clay that needs a 150 deg temperature ? Because the enamel powder needs this temperature. A clay like Fimo could not be "cooked" together with this low-temp enamel powder .. is it right ?
    The other problem is that of the duration.. 30 mn for the clay and only a few minutes for the powder ...
    What is your experience about that Ludmila ?

    How durable is the finish when using the clear as a sealer? I know embossing powder gets wierd and matte if rubbed, but is the enamel more like that, or like a resin finish? Thanks. ❤
    .
    Also Fimo liquid and gel are almost impossible to get in the USA. Can I use something else? Thanks ❤

    Hi! Enjoyed the video very much. I was wondering about the tiny cutters you used to cut the holes out of the black clay. Are those for cars or something? I also wondered if you tried using a heat gun on the embossing powder after the oven. I wondered if it might melt the powder more to get a more thorough coverage. I've been watching several of your videos in a row! I wonder what the clear embossing powder would do on the Faux Ammolite as a covering...:) Thanks for sharing your ideas! They're great!

    • @SweetyBijouPro
      @SweetyBijouPro  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! I bought that cutters on Etsy! they like electric parts... www.etsy.com/listing/211379943/dottie-tool-set-for-polymer-clay-circle?ref=shop_home_active_1
      I think you can use the heat gun, but if you put the powder on non-sticking surface - you will blow all your powder away ^_^
      About ammolite, I think better to use epoxy resin here))

    • @KarmafromFla
      @KarmafromFla 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for your prompt reply! With the embossing powder....I meant after you melt it in the oven...using a heat gun once it's out and still bumpy may smooth it out...if you WANT it smooth. :) I used to play with the UTEE a bit and I think it needs a bit more than oven temps. Thanks for the link to the tiny cutters! I knew I'd seen them before! Off to watch more of your videos...

      Bitches Of Karma
      I was going to leave a similar comment. I think the embossing powder needs a higher temperature to completely melt than the clay is baked at.
