The 2.5 t towing has to do with the soft coils in the rear. It’s nothing to do with the chassis or axle housing/diff strength. In fact engineers have pulled the diff housing and axle out of the Raptor and it’s significantly heavier and stronger than the 300 series. As you know the raptor chassis has been heavily strengthened as it’s designed to jump. The soft coils are to allow it to jump.
So I take it that the caravan is empty as its tare is 2250 . The raptor pulls it No worries but still pointless if you want to tow a decent size caravan.
B4U bag it... go buy it. I did 15000 ks around Oz in the RRap. Cape York, G.R road, Kimberley, tanami Track then Simpson Desert then home not one problem. Only mod was a B.Davis 140lt tank n airbags. Recently did big turbos, engine port n springs b.injectors, porting, big i/cooler and brakes and F150 icu. 458 rwkw w/52,000km on the odo.. It's a weapon now on street tyres. If I can ever lunch this thing... as f.nose I've tried. I'll just put in a coyote with TT's.

At 2500 tow capacity that is garbage, why waste your time, especially when the van was empty.
