8 year old me was extremely excited when I first saw Lego Minecraft in Walmart’s Lego section back in 2014! 10 years later I can’t believe it’s still going strong, and it’s one of my favorite Lego themes
This very first End set was on shelves when my family visited Legoland. Me and my brother could not leave without it. I still remember building it in the hotel room. Good old carefree times...
Lego Minecraft is a theme very near and dear to my heart. I remember as a kid splitting my allowance with my brothers to buy the first skin pack set. We had hours of fun with those 4 minifigures, and when we slowly got more sets and more player skins, it started to feel like an in house original theme like Ninjago rather than a licensed theme. I’ll always have a soft spot for this theme, can’t wait to see what it’s got in store for the future
I love having the Minecraft theme around. I haven't collected a ton of it, but I've bought some small sets, polybags, and magazines over the years and gathered some players and what I consider the classic Minecraft monsters (Skeleton, Creeper, Zombie, Spider, Enderman, Slime). It's such a delight having those guys sitting in a little display in Lego form! Really liked seeing the sets reimagined in your style too! A nice tribute to the theme's beginning, and cool to have the direct comparison to the simpler but effective style of the official sets.
More than anything else I do love the mobs and figures from the theme. That's what got me into LEGO Minecraft too - collecting those little guys! Glad you enjoyed this :)
Having something physical on a display that you can touch, like the collection of minecraft figures, has a ton of value. While it doesn't offer the play features of the game, having it around in physical form does something a virtual game can never do.
The block-accurate builds of the OG sets look soooooo good, I'm glad Lego supported a great builder like you to create those Mocs. Keep these high quality videos coming! 👍
18:30 While not identical, yes, there is a Ninjago Dragon who has flappable wings: 71766 Lloyd’s Legendary Dragon That said, that dragon's wings don't flap up and down, but forward and backward, but it is also oddles of fun.
I remember being at the Lego World convention in Copenhagen back in the day and seeing the official unveiling of the very first Lego Minecraft cuuso set. That will always be a core memory for me, the excitement I felt was just something else
Yet another look into a theme I completely missed, although this one is clearly in production to this day. I've been playing minecraft on and off when it was still in early beta and the Lego minecraft does indeed convey this 'early style' minecraft very well. I can imagine the blocky layer style of building being extremely fun for a minecraft enhusiast. This is also the first time I got to see the Minecraft custom moc buildings. This smooth blocky style might be a bit over the top, but it does look even better, the colors and layers just pop a lot more. Thanks again for taking us along a journey into Lego history, which is insanely valuable to someone that has only somewhat recently rediscovered Lego as a hobby.
I’m neither a Lego Minecraft collector, nor a player of the game, but we started buying sets for my son last year, and I must say - I’ve been blown away by the theme. I really think it’s the best current Lego theme - insanely good value, great play value and easy to MOC. It’s just great.
Lego Minecraft was always meant to be! One is about building things with plastic bricks The other is about building things with digital blocks The Lego Minecraft crossover theme was inevitable from the start! 14:58 This brought a tear to my eye 🥲 15:54 My favorite Ender Dragon is from the End Battle set with the Dragon-Slayer minifigure (set 21151), the scale just feels right somehow 18:41 Imaginex was one of the GOATs of the childhood toys 19:40 I'll do you one better: if The Cave ate an Enchated Golden Apple 21:32 I don't need it, I don't need it 21:14 *_*I NEEEED IT!!!!!!*_*
I remember having the 4 smallest sets, they were so much fun connecting up, too. When I learned the farm and first night could connect, I was so excited!
18:33 Ninjago actually does have a few dragons with a flap play feature such as Firstbourne from the Hunted wave and I think the Nya water dragon from the Seabound wave also had one
Lego minecraft has rightful become a staple of lego, for ten years has beautifully flourished into one of the largest licensed theme amongst the lego group (possibly going head to head with star wars dare I say). Lego minecraft will always be one of my favorite themes capturing the wonderful whimsy and all the that is minecraft. Great video Cheesey it totally had that classic Lego Minecraft vibe ❤
18:37 there are few ninjago dragons, with the same play feature. First dragon, witch had that play feature was First bourne from 2018. Last dragon, witch had similar function might been Lloyds legendary dragon from 2022, and since then most of the dragons have switched for more poseable wings.
I've been waiting for this one! Lego Minecraft is one of my favourite licensed themes! I'll watch this in full once I've gotten some sleep though, it's like 11PM down here in Australia rn...
The only thing I can say is chills and trying not to tear up. I’ve always always always have loved that original Minecraft wave. The Mine is still to this day my number wanted Lego Minecraft set of all time. Minecraft has such a special place in my heart because it’s what I did when I started my channel last year. Thank you for making this video and bringing me back 10 years!!!
The amount of nostalgia for me in this video is crazy. We've got the classic Minecraft sets that I had when I was a kid. We've got the feeling of playing classic Minecraft. And funnily enough the mention of imaginex was also nostalgic.
I remember buying the first lego sets for Minecraft and enjoying them so much, they had such a charm. I believe I got the Jungle one (which was one of the earlier sets?) for my birthday as a kiddo, and of course I collected some of the other ones, the farm, the little starter house, etc. Loved it. I've also recently acquired a bunch more of the old ones including the end set! anyway yaps aside, this theme is great, especially collecting the figs and special prints.
The Ninjago dragons 70653 Firstbourne and 71754 Water Dragon both have a gravity-powered flapping feature. I personally love the Water Dragon's function, the wings ripple like that of a manta ray or sting ray. Similar in function is 71766 Lloyd's Legendary Dragon, which has a lever that moves the wings forward and backish, it's not a straight flap but it gets the job done (I don't own it so can't speak to it like I can the Water Dragon). On a related note, 71721 Skull Sorcerer's Dragon doesn't flap, but it has a button in the same place as Firstbourne's wing-flapper that opens its ribcage to drop a boulder, just like the Makuta Phantoka, which I think is another top-tier play feature. Love your videos, keep up the phenomenal work!
My 2 favorites of the more recent times have got to be "The Zombie Cave" & "The Abandoned Mine" They give me huge nostalgia for this original wave and capture the game so well while being so fun to play with
I had the original crafting box we probably mixed all the pieces in with our old legos that got sold, but I remember having so much fun just trying to make Minecraft builds in real life with the bricks. The anniversary of the game and theme makes me feel so old!
you have no idea what I would've given for these sets back in the day XD I love to see a retrospective on them. You're videos are just so chill, and even inspired me to transform by Minecraft sets into a new, block-accurate creation just like I've always wanted! Keep up the good work
Amazing video Caleb! I love these old sets, and this video reminded me of a bunch of old memories, like watching the official stop motion and designer videos. I got the mine set back in the day for my 9th birthday I think, a friend came over and we built it together, after which we played some Minecraft of course :P I also remember building the smaller cave set from the pieces in the mine a few times, apart from this having water bricks instead of lava, the parts in the cave set are pretty much all also in the mine! Thanks for the great video!
About the dragon play feature! The Lego Hero Factory Brain Attack Dragonbolt also has the flapping wing feature using a rubber band. I would know as I own one myself. Idk about Ninjago dragons though.
Good callback! I have this one too and it’s pretty cool. The Ninjago Firstbourne Dragon from a few years back has similar flapping wings in case you were curious, that’s the only other one coming to mind
don't know if it counts but Skull Basher from Bionicle G2 has a similar feature to bang it's axes together (not a dragon but similar design as Dragonbolt, might be the exact same mechanism if memory serves correct)
i have all of them bisides the mineshaft and i rember me and my sister playing minecraft lego and fighting out characters and building out houses and cities, and convincing everything to cover an entire table, and we would play minecraft in lego and uses game accurate crafting, with a brick built table and arguing about ur weather the silver pickaxe was a stone or iron, on my god this brings me back to childhood. thank you so much cheesy you made my month!
Been looking forward to this one since i saw your short of it. I love your versions of the original models so much, ive been making my own minecraft remakes in studio of some of the newer models but i never thought of going back to these classic builds. I particularly like the explosion with the display stands you added, might be the best use of those pieces ive seen! Really awesome look back and remakes for a great first 10 years!
lego minecraft is certainly a license i feel nostalgic about. not as much nostalgia as i feel for lego spongebob or lego indiana jones, and i no longer have my lego minecraft sets built, but it holds a special place in my heart because it connects me with my past and reminds me of those days i used to spend playing minecraft wii u edition with my friends, a handful of which turned out to be life-time friends that i still share memories with to this day. in fact, lego minecraft is one of the reasons i got more into minecraft in 2015 and 2016 and even got minecraft on the wii u. so it's crazy to think of how long it's been. man, this video reminded me that the cave was the first minecraft lego set i ever got. i should probably rebuild it one of these days lol
That 2014-2017 was a golden age for Minecraft in general. I've got a lot of good memories from that time, and it was awesome to have been working for Hypixel all the way back then too.
Lego Minecraft will forever hold a special place in my heart, from simply overlooking some of their sets while buying other sets, to becoming my absolute favourite modern Lego Theme, You have only strengthened that "bond" I have with the theme by inspiring me to create my own "realistic" versions of some Minecraft Mobs
I love to hear that! It's so funny how it's slowly become my favorite modern LEGO theme as well. I look forward to the Minecraft set reveals more than anything else lol!
The amount of nostalgia I'm getting from this video is insane. The rebuilds are SOOO cool. (I need a part two with the end set rebuild) Also, the crafting box being your first set really explains a lot...
I had every one of these sets except the Crafting Box set when they came out. I absolutely love them and they forever hold a special place in my heart.
As much as I loved Minecraft and Lego, I regret not getting any of the older sets back then due to me being into Hero Factory and Bionicle at the time but I finally got my first Lego Minecraft set: The Fox Lodge and I really enjoy it! And after seeing the new sets we will get in June, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for this theme.
I have a lot of nostalgia for these sets. I especially loved watching the old stop motion shorts, and the designer reviews on repeat. Thanks for making this video.
There are a couple of ninjago sets that have the flapping wing function, a few that come to mind are Firstbourne and Lloyd’s Legendary Dragon. Great Stuff!
18:34 To answer both your questions: 1. Yes, I also remember Imaginext. It and Geotrax was my Lego before Lego. 2. There are actually 3, technically 4, that have a flapping wing feature: It's 4 if you count the upcoming Monkie Kid "Nine-Headed Beast". It's more of a bird than a dragon, but it does have a flapping function. Then there's the 2022 Lloyd's Legendary Dragon, which actually has them flap forward and back. It's somewhat simplistic, but very effective Then the 2021 Water Dragon which has an incredibly unique, but equally awesome flapping function. And finally there's the first to really do this (that's not the MC one): the 2018 Firstbourne. Not only does it have a flapping function, but it also has foldable wings not too dissimilar to the Imaginext dragon. (Infact, a lot of modern Ninjago Dragons have folding functions.) There's also the two original Ultra Dragons (Golden one doesn't), which are kinda half flap/fold and flying/landing, it's hard to describe. But you are able to make them flap on the 2019 version, not sure about the 2012 one tho. There's also a chance an Elves one might have one; non seemed to have one from my skimming, but I also don't know much about Elves.
You mentioning the Imaginext Singe The Dragon brought back some memories. I totally forgot about that toy, and I loved it as a kid. The wing function was so awesome. I loved how they folded out.
18:33 I can't speak for any of the more recent dragons because I haven't collected in a while, but I'm pretty sure the Firstbourne set from the August 2018 wave of Ninjago also had the flapping wings.
The cave was also my first Minecraft set, my brother got The farm as his first one too. My sis got The crafting box after the 2016 sets were around though
My brother and i both collected lego Minecraft when we were little. Crazy its been 10 years now. I still remember seeing the sets for the first time. Like a dream come true
Incredible to see a retrospective of one of my childhood themes! Crazy to think it's been around for so long now, and it was great to see your takes on it given your unique position- loved the video, and loved your recreations! I feel like I should take a crack at one too!
18:32 yeah, 2018's first Bourne had that feature as well as the water dragon from 2021 and (in my opinion) the best Lego dragon ever; Lloyd's legendary dragon from 2022 had a similar but better play feature, well, It looked more realistic
Love this video and the style of this video. The close ups of the product then the parts that feature you talking about the product are masterfully created. Great piece of work here. It likely took considerable amount of effort that I cannot comprehend.
Really appreciate it, Jordan, and I'm glad you enjoyed! I've been looking forward to making a video like this for a couple years at this point, and it's awesome to have that vision finally realized.
The Hero Factory dragon set from the second Brain Attack wave also had flapping (and tilting) wings, but yeah, other than that, I can't really think of any others with that feature.
Whenever you showed that poster, I almost started crying, I'm 16 now, but I remember whenever I was much younger I had that poster on my wall, and I had forgotten about it until I saw it, this video brought back a lot of good memories
The farm was my first lego minecraft set, and from there i started getting more sets and stuff. eventually i saw your channel, thought it was really cool. after a while i got inspired and made a minecraft on my windowsill, although not block accurate its something to be proud of. overall, lego minecraft is a good theme.
I can't believe it's been 10 years since Lego Minecraft was released. I remember scouring toy stores with my aunt looking for the original 6. To this day, it's the only wave of a Lego theme I fully collected. Such fun times.
I still remember when the minifig scale lego minecraft theme started. Watched pretty much every video on it i could find. I was obsessed with minecraft at that time played the old pocket edition all the time back then. Got the farm set from the first wave as a gift that december. And to this day the farm is center stage of my lego minecraft display.
I remember getting the cave on my eigth birthday, still one of the best birthday presents I ever got, what a great set. I loved seeing you remake the set :)
I had fun a few years ago connecting the Mine set to the Nether Portal to the Nether Railway for a loop of track! The sets lend themselves to integration so easily and it's been fun trying different combinations old and new.
when i was five me and my brothers would take them apart and build our own houses out of them and also used parts from other sets and we had so much fun the sets i remember the most was the cave. crafting box. and the farm and thinking that this was 10 years ago! it just makes me feel alot older than i was then and i cant wait to find my old lego box back in usa and build those sets up!
I loved the first night set so much, I found my old instruction booklet, took 4 hours sorting out legos out of my old bucket, and rebuild it. It is still in my room about 2 years later and 10 after I first built it. It is my favorite lego Minecraft set.
Would be awesome to see the set recreations incorperated somehow into the big minecraft world as little references to the start of the theme, great work as always man! 👌
My first Lego Minecraft set I got from my half sister was The Farm when I was like 6 or 7. I absolutely loved it so I ended up also getting The Mine and now I have over 30 sets from this theme over the past 10 years.
A very impressive collection indeed! I'm glad that the theme still produces new and interesting sets all these years later. The designers do great work
Very happy that LEGO sent you a multitude of bricks. Hope they will send you more. You did a great job on this video & adding your own touch to the originals.
I own a few of these and especially the mine is so nostalgic for me. Was so fun as an 8 year old to play around with the minecart going down the railway! So many good simple sets to look back at. ☺️
15:55 this used to be my favorite ender dragon, but I don't think anything can beat that new dragon head mold. Especially since you can put it on the player's head, and you get 2 of them in the new set
This was a very fun video, I have also had a go at making some Lego Minecraft Sets block accurate like the skull arena, the nether bastion, as well as the swamp adventure set and all of those mocs used at least three times the amount of pieces that came in the actual sets lol
Seeing these sets makes me realize how diverse the theme’s gotten in the past few years. It also reminds me of how much I’m looking forward to the End Boat set with the new Dragon!
8 year old me was extremely excited when I first saw Lego Minecraft in Walmart’s Lego section back in 2014! 10 years later I can’t believe it’s still going strong, and it’s one of my favorite Lego themes
So glad it's still here all these years later! Who would have thought? Things have come a long way.
How are you the only replie
Hearing that LEGO Minecraft is 10 years old is like a punch to the stomach
And minecraft is 15...
Right
So true…
God it makes me feel so old
aint no way 2014 was 10 years ago 😭 making this video made me feel old
The old Lego Minecraft will always have a special place in my heart… something about building those cave and plains sets were just awesome.
Right? Ah, I wish we'd get more like this again. That's why I loved the Sword Outpost so much last year! It takes me back to this wave.
Exactly. So simple ans Just beautiful
Everything is awesome!

Love that :,) It's such a cool dragon, even outside of the world of Minecraft!
i remember when i was little at a lego convention i saw The First Night and had to have it and that memory has stuck with me ever since.
That one seems to be very popular. I wish I had gotten it when I was younger! But alas, I had no money lol

I miss when the sets were plain and classic. None of these weird animal houses, just plain survival minecraft.
The upcoming Badlands Adventure set reminds me a lot of the good old days. There's lots of great sets coming this summer!
The Minecraft theme will forever be one of my favorites.
Same here. :)
black iridescent sounds like a dream color variation!!! loved getting to learn about the origin of the LEGO theme that now takes up half our basement
I love having the Minecraft theme around. I remember having the 4 smallest sets, they were so much fun connecting up, too. When I learned the farm and first night could connect, I was so excited!
I do wish they'd lean into the modularity more! It just makes so much sense for LEGO Minecraft
Seeing this brought back the nostalgia of 2014, with all of my favorite TH-camrs, movies, and everything

lego minecraft is certainly a license i feel nostalgic about. not as much nostalgia as i feel for lego spongebob or lego indiana jones, and i no longer have my lego minecraft sets built, but it holds a special place in my heart because it connects me with my past and reminds me of those days i used to spend playing minecraft wii u edition with my friends, a handful of which turned out to be life-time friends that i still share memories with to this day.
in fact, lego minecraft is one of the reasons i got more into minecraft in 2015 and 2016 and even got minecraft on the wii u. so it's crazy to think of how long it's been.
man, this video reminded me that the cave was the first minecraft lego set i ever got. i should probably rebuild it one of these days lol
That 2014-2017 was a golden age for Minecraft in general. I've got a lot of good memories from that time, and it was awesome to have been working for Hypixel all the way back then too.
Lego Minecraft will forever hold a special place in my heart, from simply overlooking some of their sets while buying other sets, to becoming my absolute favourite modern Lego Theme,
You have only strengthened that "bond" I have with the theme by inspiring me to create my own "realistic" versions of some Minecraft Mobs
I love to hear that! It's so funny how it's slowly become my favorite modern LEGO theme as well. I look forward to the Minecraft set reveals more than anything else lol!
The amount of nostalgia I'm getting from this video is insane. The rebuilds are SOOO cool. (I need a part two with the end set rebuild)
Also, the crafting box being your first set really explains a lot...
A gift from my mom for my birthday :,) Good stuff
I had every one of these sets except the Crafting Box set when they came out. I absolutely love them and they forever hold a special place in my heart.
Really glad you got to experience so many of them in person! They are so much fun
Kudos to LEGO for sending the parts! It's a nice deviation from just set reviews, and I hope they do this more with LAN members!
I honestly much prefer this too! Hopefully you'll be seeing similar projects in the future. :D
This summer has some really awesome sets. The Badlands one reminds me a lot of these early sets!
Yes, the Firstbourne, from Ninjago´s 2018 Hunted season had that flaping wing feature, a simple, yet, great action feature!
I'll have to check that out!
I have a lot of nostalgia for these sets. I especially loved watching the old stop motion shorts, and the designer reviews on repeat. Thanks for making this video.
It's my pleasure! Glad you enjoyed. I miss the fun slew of Minecraft TH-cam content we used to get from LEGO.
There are a couple of ninjago sets that have the flapping wing function, a few that come to mind are Firstbourne and Lloyd’s Legendary Dragon. Great Stuff!
Very nice! I'll be checking those out!
18:34 To answer both your questions:
1. Yes, I also remember Imaginext. It and Geotrax was my Lego before Lego.
2. There are actually 3, technically 4, that have a flapping wing feature:
It's 4 if you count the upcoming Monkie Kid "Nine-Headed Beast". It's more of a bird than a dragon, but it does have a flapping function.
Then there's the 2022 Lloyd's Legendary Dragon, which actually has them flap forward and back. It's somewhat simplistic, but very effective
Then the 2021 Water Dragon which has an incredibly unique, but equally awesome flapping function.
And finally there's the first to really do this (that's not the MC one): the 2018 Firstbourne. Not only does it have a flapping function, but it also has foldable wings not too dissimilar to the Imaginext dragon. (Infact, a lot of modern Ninjago Dragons have folding functions.)
There's also the two original Ultra Dragons (Golden one doesn't), which are kinda half flap/fold and flying/landing, it's hard to describe. But you are able to make them flap on the 2019 version, not sure about the 2012 one tho.
There's also a chance an Elves one might have one; non seemed to have one from my skimming, but I also don't know much about Elves.
Ay, awesome! I think you definitely got the most thorough list so far that I've seen. I'll have to check these out!
You mentioning the Imaginext Singe The Dragon brought back some memories. I totally forgot about that toy, and I loved it as a kid. The wing function was so awesome. I loved how they folded out.
I'm so glad you remember him! Ah, he's the best. I know my Grandmother still had the guy at her house a few years ago. I hope she hasn't sold him
18:33 I can't speak for any of the more recent dragons because I haven't collected in a while, but I'm pretty sure the Firstbourne set from the August 2018 wave of Ninjago also had the flapping wings.
The Cave was my first Minecraft set. A lot of nostalgia for that one. I remember playing with it for hours
It doesn't get better than the Cave. It's so simple but so well executed!
The cave was also my first Minecraft set, my brother got The farm as his first one too. My sis got The crafting box after the 2016 sets were around though
The Lego Ninjago dragon: firstborne from, I think 2018 or 2019 also had the flapping feature 18:41
Oh nice! I'll have to check that out!
Lego x Minecraft might be one of the best collabs made in human history. They were made for eachother.
Right? It's crazy to think there was a time when they *weren't* collaborating 🤣
5:03 that was in my room for years
Ah, I love that poster. I'm sure it's still in my parents' basement too lol!
@@CheeseyStudios my was thrown away
The regret
I paused my Minecraft World for this :[]

Its funny how minecraft is having 15th anniversary this year, and Lego minecraft is having a 10th anniversary.
Big epic year indeed xD
I remember way before these came out, I made my own mobs out of blocks and painted them in the blocky Minecraft style
Was waiting for this vid
It was inevitable xD
18:41 well maybe not another dragon but the dune ornithopter has pretty much the same wing function
I suppose, though I will say the Ornithopter's is infinitely more complicated to put together lol!
My brother and i both collected lego Minecraft when we were little. Crazy its been 10 years now. I still remember seeing the sets for the first time. Like a dream come true
Right? A match made in heaven. So glad we've had so many years of this great theme!
Incredible to see a retrospective of one of my childhood themes! Crazy to think it's been around for so long now, and it was great to see your takes on it given your unique position- loved the video, and loved your recreations! I feel like I should take a crack at one too!
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed it. I'd definitely encourage you to give your own thoughts on the theme!
18:32 yeah, 2018's first Bourne had that feature as well as the water dragon from 2021 and (in my opinion) the best Lego dragon ever; Lloyd's legendary dragon from 2022 had a similar but better play feature, well, It looked more realistic
Those dragons are pretty sweet
14:50 this was accessible through the lego magazines, i have one and never got the first night set
Oh hey, nice! Gotta love those magazine packs
Brings back memories. I was only 30 back when the first sets came out.
I can't get over how it's been 10 years. Doesn't feel like it's been that long!
18:35 Yes! Ninjago Legacy’s Ultra Dragon from 2019, I was so excited to build it. (I’ve collected every Legacy set.)
Very nice! Yeah, that looks like a cool one for sure
New LEGO Minecraft summer 2024 sets are here launching June 1st
I'm so excited to review them all for you guys!
LEGO Minecraft is 10 years old. Minecraft is 15. I am old.
relatable
The Hero Factory dragon set from the second Brain Attack wave also had flapping (and tilting) wings, but yeah, other than that, I can't really think of any others with that feature.
I did watch a review on that one yesterday! Really interesting set
Whenever you showed that poster, I almost started crying, I'm 16 now, but I remember whenever I was much younger I had that poster on my wall, and I had forgotten about it until I saw it, this video brought back a lot of good memories
It's such a good poster and set - certainly takes me back, too :)
The farm was my first lego minecraft set, and from there i started getting more sets and stuff. eventually i saw your channel, thought it was really cool. after a while i got inspired and made a minecraft on my windowsill, although not block accurate its something to be proud of. overall, lego minecraft is a good theme.
I'm glad you've been inspired through the channel! That's fantastic
The Firstbourne from Lego Ninjago (70653) also has flappy wings
I watched the Jangbricks review on that one! Looks like a really cool set
I can't believe it's been 10 years since Lego Minecraft was released. I remember scouring toy stores with my aunt looking for the original 6. To this day, it's the only wave of a Lego theme I fully collected. Such fun times.
It's a great wave to have the complete collection of. You can't go wrong with any of these - they're such great parts packs!
Im not sure if anyone has said this but the lego Ninjago firstbourne dragon from the hunted wave has flappable wings and is pretty cool
I just watched a review on it yesterday! That's a neat set
That's such a great set. I loved the Pocket Edition too.
I remember getting the cave on my eigth birthday, still one of the best birthday presents I ever got, what a great set. I loved seeing you remake the set :)
It's a classic! Absolutely love that one.
I had fun a few years ago connecting the Mine set to the Nether Portal to the Nether Railway for a loop of track! The sets lend themselves to integration so easily and it's been fun trying different combinations old and new.
That's awesome! The Nether Railway is such an awesome set. I do wish I had gotten the portal to go with it!
I actually have the cave set but its pieces are everywhere throughout my house from when I got it many years ago.
That's fair - these sets were practically made to be taken apart!
when i was five me and my brothers would take them apart and build our own houses out of them and also used parts from other sets and we had so much fun the sets i remember the most was the cave. crafting box. and the farm and thinking that this was 10 years ago! it just makes me feel alot older than i was then and i cant wait to find my old lego box back in usa and build those sets up!
Glad I could bring back some good memories! Hope you get a chance to build the sets again soon :)
I loved the first night set so much, I found my old instruction booklet, took 4 hours sorting out legos out of my old bucket, and rebuild it. It is still in my room about 2 years later and 10 after I first built it. It is my favorite lego Minecraft set.
That's a good one! A lot of people seem to remember that set particularly fondly
Would be awesome to see the set recreations incorperated somehow into the big minecraft world as little references to the start of the theme, great work as always man! 👌
I'll see if I can hide little bits and pieces of them in!
My first set from this series was “The Iron Golem”. Good times 😢
Ah, that's a good one! One of my earlier sets as well. Probably the first one I bought with my own money honestly
The designers do great work
18:19 It's so funny that when you released the button the whole assembly just popped out lol
Yeah, it totally stuck to my finger 🤣
18:34 I belive that the firstbourne dragon from 2018, has that function as well
Ay, nice! I'll definitely be watching a review on that
Very happy that LEGO sent you a multitude of bricks. Hope they will send you more.
You did a great job on this video & adding your own touch to the originals.
Really appreciate it! So glad LEGO was able to help me out with this.
I own a few of these and especially the mine is so nostalgic for me. Was so fun as an 8 year old to play around with the minecart going down the railway! So many good simple sets to look back at. ☺️
I would have loved these as a kid! The mine cart system is so fun. Really glad to see it making a return in the new summer sets!
It's my birthday today and this is my favourite theme, this is a great birthday gift from you!
Happy birthday!
5:14 Seeing all this stuff again made me actually tear up
Ah, aren't they glorious? Something about this older style of sets really works for me.
I also had the Crafting Box and Ender Dragon sets from this wave as a kid! Still got my original dragon sitting on a shelf with yellowed grey bricks.
Ayyy, nice! Love these OG sets
Early minecraft sets were special. They all focused around core minecraft experiences that I got to remember as I was building
Right? They feel so universal. Simple, but still lots of fun.
Great video!! I love the attention to detail in your MOCs, these set recreations look amazing!!
Thank you so much!
15:55 this used to be my favorite ender dragon, but I don't think anything can beat that new dragon head mold. Especially since you can put it on the player's head, and you get 2 of them in the new set
I do love the helmet feature 🤣 That is just too cool!
This was a very fun video, I have also had a go at making some Lego Minecraft Sets block accurate like the skull arena, the nether bastion, as well as the swamp adventure set and all of those mocs used at least three times the amount of pieces that came in the actual sets lol
Yeah, it gets so expensive so fast lol. 🤣 They sure are fun to build though!
Man, I didn't realize how old the Minecraft theme was. Wow. Great video!
It's so wild, right? Doesn't feel like that long to me either lol! And thank you!
18:33 the first bourne dragon set has that feature!
I did just watch a review on that one! Super cool
8:50 Dude, when I got this set it felt like the happiest day of my life
Ah, yes. That's a good one!
Seeing these sets makes me realize how diverse the theme’s gotten in the past few years. It also reminds me of how much I’m looking forward to the End Boat set with the new Dragon!
The amount of new players we get these days is so awesome! Regular old Steve and Alex aren't even included in any 2024 sets lol!
