@Rectze iOS The only people that needs to be bashed are the people that got those kids out there running at such a time like this. There really shouldn't be any track going on if we still have to be worried about the virus. So, don't blame the other kids for deciding not to wear masks and suffocating themselves, blame whoever that's in charge of the event. It's VERY hard to run with your mouth and nose covered.

@@champking20 Time is irrelevant when it comes to how much pain the race causes. Someone who runs a 4:00 minute mile will feel the same as someone who runs a 6:00 minute mile as long as they both pushed themselves. His point still stands.

@@lawrencecarmen2473 the mask was not restricting his oxygen. The race made him pant, why cause he was running very, very fast, have you watched the actual Olympics? Do you see how heavy they pant after a race? You should search doctor puts on, I think over 20 masks and his oxygen level in his blood did not change once.

The announcer said they didn't load their top guys on the run. TEAMS do this to get other guys experience, maybe an injury later in the year, someone needs a rear or even next year it gives them experience. I would have put Slade 3rd to make up the distance and let another fringe guy run anchor so we can see what he can do. Sometimes the biggest stress helps guys breakout and run well.

In my county it’s required to wear a mask while competing and practicing, I PRed a 300 with a mask on. Its not impossible to run with a mask especially if you practice with them

It would be a reasonable precaution if he could keep it on the whole time. It's too hard to do that with max effort exercise, as evidenced by him taking the mask off immediately afterward with people still around.

Shouod be athletically able to handle a few meets a season as long as its nothing crazy. Gotta remember oros take easy csuse they already made it and near peak. He's on the incline so needs to keep racing and keep improving. Kids got some major talent

Guy in the mask actually made it terribly hard for himself, for those of you who don't know, some athletes train their lungs by running with a mask that makes breathing harder, so pretty much less oxygen, that guy with the mask pretty much did that to himself, could have at least let his nose take in air freely.
