I agree. It'd be cool if you could select the "Random Perk" perk from the archives as a perk slot. Make it give a +15-25% BP boost per random perk you bring too, so you can customize your loadout and fill it out with a random perk or two if you want a bit of extra BP, or go all out to get a bunch extra. Would really help mitigate every player just bringing the strongest perks every time.

I kinda just want this in the game permanently tbh. It's just a lot of fun, and tbh modes like this are also a great way for me to try and get some of my newer friends that struggle having a good time in regular pubs to enjoy playing. I know a lot of regulars didn't like Lights Out, but people I'd been trying to introduce to the game ate that shit up, so I had a lot of fun with them lol.
It would be cool if they gave perks categories and the game gave you one of each. So: 1 “information” perk, 1 “slowdown” perk, one “chase” perk, and one “utility/misc” perk. Survivors could have 1 “generator/info” perk, 1 “chase/stealth” perk, 1 “heal/altruism” perk, and 1 “survival” perk.
I'm honestly really excited for the future. They've been making the gamemodes more and more exciting, in like 2 or 3 years the gamemodes are gonna be insane
My biggest issue with the randomizer is that I never know what perks I have. They just show you the pictures and they don't even tell you the perks you're getting. Because it wouldn't tell me what perks I have until the game already started and at that point it's just showing the pictures
they can't even handle 1 v 4 with various game-breaking bugs and glitches, let alone a 2 v 8 .. it will literally crash the game, hell they couldn't even add a zombie to Nemesis without affecting the performance of the game.
I'm sure this method would be difficult to implement for dbd but a cool idea is everytime you get hooked your perks randomize. It would make the match really chaotic and I'm sure that's the point. To overcome the chaos on a moments notice and work with what you got.
What be cool is maybe if the perks randomize happens after the survivor gets hook, both for the survivor and for the killer, so it shuffles at beginning of match and also every time you get hooked and or the killer get a hook.
I'd love if they had a system similar to other games like Hearthstone where there's always a rotating extra mode available (Tavern Brawl in HS). Some are just little modifiers like Lights Out, some are bigger things, and the ones people like rotate back in more often.
They should make it have a sort of weighted randomness, you have a high chance of getting at least 1 slowdown/regression perk as Killer and 1 Exhaustion as Survivor.
I feel like it should take on a bit of a Warioware vibe, you know? A series of quick mini-games that each last a few seconds with events based on perks. Maybe a dead hard minigame where each survivor has one dead hard each and if the killer hits their dead hard they get it back and also get a point but if the killer has better timing then the killer gets a point. Or maybe make a series of vaults and pallets where the Legion has to hit survivors as many times as possible to get points, but the minigame ends when the survivors drop a pallet on the Legion to stun him out of his power. Maybe a minigame where there are a bunch of items around a tree that the killer defends and each survivor runs at like 200% movement speed, each swooping in to try to grab the items before the killer hits them with a weapon attack. Maybe a minesweeper-esque minigame where survivors must run from one area of the map to another, but a bunch of bear traps are set around in tall grass that they have to navigate around while the killer chases them.
Honestly, it would be really cool if Behavior added a perk shuffle button that could be selected that will add 50-100% bonus BP for selecting it. Might honestly help the meta issues if there is an incentive

thinking about balancing the game between survivor and killer, i have a suggestion (might be dumb af, might be alright, up to you to choose). so basically what if everyone would be using more than 4 perks equivalent to a total of a certain tier levels i'll explain myself. Perks are given each 3 tiers modifying slightly the effects from worst to best, what if instead of having a maximum amount of perks per person we re given a maximum amount of tiers, example : let's say each survivor/killer is limited to 8 tiers so they can run 2 tier 3 perks equivalent to 6 tiers and 2 tier 1 perks equivalent to 2 adding up to 8 or 8 perks each limited to 1 tier (might be a little broken depending the builds(to adjust)) which could balance each side so we dont have to as killer feel the abnoxious presence of someone 500 meters away from you waiting to pick the survivor to Background Player save without being able to do anything against it every 30 seconds, times between perk usages would be a bit longer and since many many perks don t need to forcefully be at tier 3 like bloodhound, lightborn, boons... it would give a chance to ssome perks that aren t used at all to come to light a little bit and create more builds and deversifies gameplay instead of going against nurse, blight, spirit all running 3 gens slowdown and noed every game. And even if needed, adjust each tier limit for each killers which would bring a new main mechanic to the game and refresh it a little bit.
Many of the best perks in the game are also the ones that feel the worst to go up against. I would probably reinstall if there was a full time mode where you don't have to deal with it.
What if it's no perks and random status effects like every 10 seconds? I'm talking haste, exposed, endurance, hinder, FRIGGIN BLIGHT SERUM, mangled, oblivious, blind, etc... It would be absolute chaos I think and sounds frustratingly fun.
A random game mode is fun but I still would like a randomizer button on the perk and add-on selection screen so I can, if I want, easily randomize my loadout just for my own enjoyment and tweak that random build if I feel like it afterward.
Honestly it would be cool if the game didn’t even tell you the perks you were given either but you could figure them out and see them in the post game.
on the topic of 2 v 8: I feel like it will definitely be pretty fun but if people sweat it will easily be boring, I imagine a "meta" would be to have one person play plague and another to be a top tier like nurse as plagues passive injure really compliments so many killer powers (can imagine pinhead also being popular due to chain hunts but less so due to the amount of people who are able to find the box), i feel like chase gameplay would also end up being streamlined to be like playing against knight, but I would definitely welcome the mode for the fun factor and general silliness of there being 2 killers

Everyone is screaming about 2v8 but don't seem to realize that because of how people play this game, it will quickly lose its charm if Killers aren't generally nerfed for the game mode to account for 2 killers. Either that or it will be so disconnected from what core DBD is that it just won't be fun and people won't play it. I get the idea of people wanting 2v8 and it would probably be fun for a little bit but it's not some magical idea that will give the game 100k players like people say lol
Whenever someone gets hooked the hookee and the killers perks are completely randomized. Or even more insane the killer is randomized every time they hook someone. They’d have to remove a lot of mechanics though sadly.
As someone who randomizes every trial already and loves playing the game, I'm really hoping this does become a mode in future which is permanently a feature players can duck into whenever they feel. It really does spice the game up. Also, controversial opinion, but unless players are at a comp level where I'd understand the need for slowdowns, killers can win with no slowdown perks at general pubs level, where I am. Perks aren't the only way to slow a trial down. Chaos Shuffle may still be survivor-sided, but hopefully killers (and indeed survivors) may see the benefit of spicing things up perk-wise, and realise maybe the meta isn't as important at the general pubs level.

@@yScribblezHD It's because they want the DBD vets to actually launch the game to play it again for a few days. If they do it right, the queue sends what game is being played to the server the moment the game is initialized and players are in the lobby together, then it sets up the trial with those rules. It's no extra server cost or queue time for regular DBD. They literally only do it like this to try to bring vets back to playing their game because we're all bored af of DBD and moved on to other games.

I think instead of make it a permanent game mode, should be a permanent option right the perk build menu. If u select it, you'll have random perks next mach, but get X amount of extra BP

What if it is mode where you just queue in for, like straight up all you do is press the button in the main menu, and you are queued for it and then what role, what character, what cosmetics, perks item add-ons offering, literally everything is randomized. Maybe even maps could be extra random
for some reason, the all random loadout that appeared in the tome as a challenge it never worked when playing killer for me. I would select it, start a match and my perks wouldn't change but it would show that they did only in the endgame screen, I even tried to removing all the perks, but still nothing, so in this mode I can finally try a killer game with random build (for survivor it did work it's the killers that didn't)
I really hope it's full random. Random killer add ons perks everything. If it's just random perks then it's ok I'll still play it, that's how I play now. Sweating every game isn't fun, I like finding weird synergy from it. Doing random builds is how I started running fogwise all the time

How about survivors get shown their *three* random perks and then can select their last *one,* allowing for synergy. Killers get shown their *two* random perks and can select their final *two.* They would be shown their perks once the pre-game 60s timer starts, but would be penalized for leaving and re-joining trying to get a 'lucky roll'.
Randomizer thats picks everything. Role, character, perks, items, addons all randomized. You dont know whether youre killer or survivor until game starts.
Maybe they'll finally address the issue where killers are required to run 1-2 slowdown perks by nerfing gen speeds finally. I've only been talking about this for years. I want to be able to finally run fun builds as killer just like survivors can without fear of losing.
I've always thought survivor was much more miserable without perks personally. Killers can alter there play styles or just play like any of the top 5 killers and you'll be A-ok without slow downs. Playing survivor though is rough like the Lights Out game mode I got slugged TONS because killers knew survivors had zero ways of picking themselves up. Tunneling, Slugging, and Camping you need perks against. There's really no way to alter your individual play style to adjust like you can with Killer.

Don’t worry in the coming update they’re making it so that you’re able to see what your perks do when you hit escape
If you have more experience you would know all the perks by the picture.
They should do the perk randomizer, but you cant even see your own perks, like at one point you fall and go "WAIT IVE HAD LITHE THE WHOLE TIME?"

Hot topic: Super fast chase is the best slowdown. If you're always after someone new they cant take time to do gens without staying injured

Whenever someone gets hooked the hookee and the killers perks are completely randomized. Or even more insane the killer is randomized every time they hook someone. They’d have to remove a lot of mechanics though sadly.
As someone who randomizes every trial already and loves playing the game, I'm really hoping this does become a mode in future which is permanently a feature players can duck into whenever they feel. It really does spice the game up.
Also, controversial opinion, but unless players are at a comp level where I'd understand the need for slowdowns, killers can win with no slowdown perks at general pubs level, where I am. Perks aren't the only way to slow a trial down. Chaos Shuffle may still be survivor-sided, but hopefully killers (and indeed survivors) may see the benefit of spicing things up perk-wise, and realise maybe the meta isn't as important at the general pubs level.

@larsliamvilhelmI would suspect they use the same servers, realistically they probably don't want to fracture queues and since it'll impact wait times.
@@yScribblezHD It's because they want the DBD vets to actually launch the game to play it again for a few days.
If they do it right, the queue sends what game is being played to the server the moment the game is initialized and players are in the lobby together, then it sets up the trial with those rules. It's no extra server cost or queue time for regular DBD.
They literally only do it like this to try to bring vets back to playing their game because we're all bored af of DBD and moved on to other games.
This should be a permanent option 100%, just a button in the corner of the loadout window

@@TheWetMinority Its hard to say whats sweaty and whats not. You think I run FTP + Buckle up to be sweaty, I run it because I just like saving my mate and interacting with the killer more. Beats doing gens.

I think instead of make it a permanent game mode, should be a permanent option right the perk build menu. If u select it, you'll have random perks next mach, but get X amount of extra BP

What if it is mode where you just queue in for, like straight up all you do is press the button in the main menu, and you are queued for it and then what role, what character, what cosmetics, perks item add-ons offering, literally everything is randomized. Maybe even maps could be extra random
I feel like they would do 2v8 for an anniversary event, probably not this year, but maybe next year
for some reason, the all random loadout that appeared in the tome as a challenge it never worked when playing killer for me. I would select it, start a match and my perks wouldn't change but it would show that they did only in the endgame screen, I even tried to removing all the perks, but still nothing, so in this mode I can finally try a killer game with random build

Imagine your character (so killer as well) and the map is randomized as well. And you can get killers you don't even own.

I really hope it's full random. Random killer add ons perks everything. If it's just random perks then it's ok I'll still play it, that's how I play now. Sweating every game isn't fun, I like finding weird synergy from it. Doing random builds is how I started running fogwise all the time

It's take 10 seconds to download a randomizer. Why TF waste time for Behavior to release the most useless mode in history when you could've already been doing that? I don't get? What's the hype? Play trials with crap builds? To easy to please.

Randomizer should have some boundary Logic or added weights to prioritize at least one slow down for Killer, and have no-mither not go with self-care.
Just wish they would add the perk randomizer into the game by default like on the perk menu right beside search a button that gives you random perks that you cant see till the match starts
I want this game mode as a built in feature after it expires. You want new build from what you have? Click this button and BAM, you load in with random perks

They need to make 1v1 cowshed an actual game mode. It helps both sides practice looping

How about survivors get shown their *three* random perks and then can select their last *one,* allowing for synergy. Killers get shown their *two* random perks and can select their final *two.*
They would be shown their perks once the pre-game 60s timer starts, but would be penalized for leaving and re-joining trying to get a 'lucky roll'.

Randomizer thats picks everything. Role, character, perks, items, addons all randomized. You dont know whether youre killer or survivor until game starts.
Maybe they'll finally address the issue where killers are required to run 1-2 slowdown perks by nerfing gen speeds finally. I've only been talking about this for years. I want to be able to finally run fun builds as killer just like survivors can without fear of losing.
I've always thought survivor was much more miserable without perks personally. Killers can alter there play styles or just play like any of the top 5 killers and you'll be A-ok without slow downs. Playing survivor though is rough like the Lights Out game mode I got slugged TONS because killers knew survivors had zero ways of picking themselves up. Tunneling, Slugging, and Camping you need perks against. There's really no way to alter your individual play style to adjust like you can with Killer.
im kinda hoping its not just perks and items but maybe the map too could have tiles from other different realms or somethin
Make a game mode with a perk randomiser but your perk changes after a hook or getting a gen done

If they ever did two killers in a game, whose terror radius would take priority for survivors when both are near them?
I think the best solution is to give all killers the default terror radius music
@@gianglai7346 Yeah, but then it may be confusing if they’re moving about in such a way that the radiuses overlap and you’re never sure what’s going on because you can’t differentiate between them.
And some have enormous radius’s compared to others. You could spend the whole game with a terror radius playing
Both are playing except the killer that is closer is slightly louder. It would add so much intensity hearing 2 different heartbeats
Im concerned this mode is gonna be a sweatfest full of blights / nurses since they dont rely as much on their perks.
Just add a button, "click here to randomize your perks and receive double the blood points for your next match."
I'd buy the game for a friend TOMMOROW if they gave me a permanent game mode to play killer with a buddy.
