na 2k9-2k13 was great and from 2k14-2k17 the mode has been totally different it just dosent feel the same anymore still a great fantastic mode but ever since 2k14 it hasn't felt the same

Yeah but it still sims your stats as if you were playing, so you end up with more points, or rebounds, minutes played, etc. It's a flaw with 2K's rotation logic and it's been a problem for as long as I can remember. The CPU uses the same rotations regardless of situation or roster. It's just broken all around

They do double team.. but most of the time it's soft cover, or sometimes even simple jab step towards the player and then goes back to his man. Other times they'll have a guy shadow another guy and then rotate when the guy gets beat. Most NBA double team are smart because they'll also cover the passing route.

In the possession starting at 2:29 Demarcus Cousins double teams Smoove for the whole possession, yet Al Horford keeps moving so far behind the 3 point line that he isn't even in position to shoot. Then Smoove asks for the ball back, presumably so Horford would cut, but he just keeps drifting further behind the line.

2k14 Next Gen remains superior in my opinion. You could create an awesome MyPlayer, only problem with 2K14 Next Gen is that it has limited features compared to 2K15 +. But in terms of MyCareer, I think 2K14 is the best.

100% agree, my team and i were a top 50 pro am team in 2k16 and now in 2k17 all you see are stretch bigs essentially breaking the game. at the bare minimum, let us max out our defense! We use to pride ourselves on our defense but even if we're in great positions defensively, these sharpshooters overpower our defense.
