For you countertops just try a mr clean usually gets everything out. Generally when things start to stain your countertops you need to seal them with a quartz or marble sealer.
when my kid was a toddler i used the front room bookcases as their toy depot. i had these nice baskets from cost plus (world market. i worked at cost plus before they rebranded) and would go through, basically dumping all the toys in the correct basket. you're probably right about there being too many toys. it can lead to a lack of importance when it comes to forrest taking care of his toys. i used to rotate toys: i had a storage area that was reachable only by me, and would keep a limited number of toys out at any given time. when boredom would set in, i'd rotate. lmk if you like this idea
after you get your natural stone or tile clean, make sure you use a sealant. weiman makes one that's just spray and leave. i'm not sure how to lift pink from...marble? granite? you're not going to want to use abrasives on it unless you want to follow-up with polishing it-and then sealing it ofc. dawn dish soap cleans oil off birds caught in oil spills. i wish i had more ideas for you. unfortunately (or fortunately?) i've never lived in a place with light natural stone like that
We have granite counter tops and my husband works in that field, when we have stains, the faster you get to it the better, he makes a paste with baking soda, puts it on the stain and covers it with plastic wrap and leaves it for awhile sometimes 24 hours depending on the stain, hope it helps, ours did come out but it was not slime though..good luck

My glass shower is a beveled and frosted glass which I absolutely hate lol but they say to completely dry the glass and that it helps and I can say I can see that because my new kitchen sink faucet I dry it after it’s used and I’ll go after my husband and kids to dry it because they don’t but it does keep hard water stains off

A little tip for your dishwasher and wash machine, pods are the worst thing for them. The plastic gunks up and ruins your machine. Also, you’re supposed to run hot water in your sink prior to starting your dishwasher. These were tips my appliance installer/repair man told me.

Toy compromise: rotate toys out by hiding some toys in the closet, and then when you notice he’s not playing with them switch them out. They get so excited, it’s like getting new toys 😊

Yea as a mom of two I absolutely hate slim and kinetic sand they had that one time and I had taken all my decor off our walls since we were repainting our whole house and I don’t even know how they did but it got into my picture frames I still find pieces of it in old frames but I’m excited to see about the hard water because I live in Cottonwood Alabama which is very close to the Florida line and our water is super hard and I’ve tried all kinds of things to get it off and I still can’t since my husband let a family live at the house since theirs burned down and he had somewhere else he could stay for a couple months and they didn’t take care of it so he wasn’t happy so I’m trying to sway him into redoing the shower lol

With the pink stains, sprinkle some icarb soda/ baking soda and then some white vinegar on top, let it fizzle and turn into a paste, let it sit for half an hour and then scrub it off. I think it'll help lift it off a little bit more.
Mom Hack: I always have liked the idea of giving my kiddos a lot less toys in the play area, then swapping the toys out every so often. Less mess to clean, and they got better use out of the toys because there weren’t so many that they didn’t even know what to do with them. :)
Oh I know those stains are driving you crazy- I tried and it worked - a baking soda paste mixed with hydrogen peroxide - I read that somewhere a long time ago!! Let it sit - but keep an eye on it too!!! Good Luck and thanks for a ton of motivation. I put in two loads of wash that I wouldn’t have otherwise!!!

Try making a paste of dish soap, baking soda, and peroxide. Let it sit for a couple mins and wipe up. I use this for all kinds of stains and it is a miracle worker ❤ best of luck 🤞🏾
Best product I have ever used for a stained countertop is Scrubbing Bubbles. I would not use it day to day, but it has worked for Kool-aid and other things almost instantly.
With countertops be careful not to use vinerager or a magic eraser because it strips the seal on the newer houses they're making and that can cause you to have stains and water spots ☺️
We had to leave that one at the old house because we just didn't have the room to take it. I like that one for sure but this one just seems a little better in every way honestly. Like a step up. 💖

That cyborg cleaner is nice. But there’s no way my husband would agree to it. I just bought a Dyson a little over a year ago. And I have a steam mop. It would be nice to have a two in one without the cord. That’s my favorite. And when you move south, you will get lots of visitors. My family that lives in Ohio comes down to Georgia whenever it’s possible. Of course, most of my grandkids are here too. So it’s a free place to stay at our house and still see all the kids. My oldest granddaughter and her boyfriend are coming sometime next month. Around Thanksgiving. But her mom, step dad and most of her brother and sisters live here. So I know they will all be here when she’s here. Not that I didn’t see them when I lived in Ohio. But my youngest daughter and son in law will be coming sometime. And my grandson who lives close comes on the weekend to stay. So my guest bedroom is full a lot of the time. I’m hoping maybe someday we can move to a little bigger house. But I love where I live right now. We have lost six acre and it’s quiet. Unless we get a lot of land, I’m going nowhere. My daughters had a playroom when they were young. I loved it. Just close the door and deal with it later. I bet you don’t have to workout with going up and down the stairs. I live in a ranch. No more stairs for me. I wish I had a kitchen as big and long as yours. My kitchen is like a small space between the living room and our bedroom. It’s hard for me to cook with two dogs in my way.
Just an observation maybe it's time for your 'boys' to help pick up at least some of the toys when they're done Make a game out of it May not be perfect but will help you out

For your kitchen countertop, have you tried scrubbing it with a magic eraser? It has help me in the past.

We have white quartz and a little bit of liquid bad keepers friend with a dry rag takes black sharpie out of ours. Works to get any stains out.

I spray dawn power wash on my white counter top stains and let it sit till the foam turns the color of whatever it lifting then wipe.

If you have quartz counters like me, nothing removes stains like bar keepers friend. Just scrub with a soft sponge 🧽 and it’s perfectly clean 😉
how much water and how much vinegar do you put in the bottle?
Usually like 1/5 vinegar. Sometimes 1/4 💖

Dawn with a scrub daddy has helped me on honed quartz countertops since it isn’t abrasive. Some people say magic eraser but that scares me.
I like the rollaround carts in your laundry room myself I would’ve put all those folding clothes, in the basket and roll that card to every room…

Barkeepers friend! I get stains like that all the time. Use just a little at a time and rub it in with a cleaning tooth brush and then rinse it off.
