Excellent news - thanks for making this functionality available - been hoping you might do this for a while. Gave it a quick look see late last night and all seems to work as intended, although I’ll give it a proper check out in the next day or two. Whilst my inverter is readily accessible in the garage, updating time of use settings via the front panel was always a little bit of a faff. Being able to do this from the PC will hopefully very useful for those whose inverters are less accessible, say in a loft etc. Thanks again. 👍
A very welcome feature update, being able to control the charge/discharge times via the webportal rather than having to go into the garage to use the controls on the inverter itself. The webpages seem to be squashed over to one side of the screen & values are quite small because of it. Hopefully further updates will improve this.

Very useful and mostly clear and professional though David in the lab’s audio was muddy and unclear, and the wobbly visual he was transmitting made it hard to follow, - several viewings got me there in the end, and most importantly, it works. No more treks through the blustery nights to alter the parameters. Hallelujah.
I want to be able to limit the output power on the AC SIde of the solis converter. Because i need to limit it when energy prices get negative in my country. Can i control it from a home automation system? What kind of interface is there to do this ?? In conjunction with Dynamic contracts and prices.
I have just installed a solis 3.6KW hybrid. Used to have a Luxpower AC coupled unit. The Solis time of use function seems very basic. I want to charge from solar in the day (NOT GRID) and discharge to the Grid in the evening (GRID pay me for this) and charge from the grid overnight. This scheduling isn't possible as I can't set the day charging (PV) not to use the grid unless 'use grid' power is OFF. But then the overnight Grid charge schedule will not run. I did this easily with the LUX. Am I missing something? thanks
I understand the advice to set the battery discharge time to 0hrs to prevent unnecessary discharge at a set time, but I would like to experiment with prioritising battery use during peak pricing periods (generally 1600-2000 on my Octopus tarrfif in the UK). My question is: does the battery discharge linearly over the period set regardless of load, or does the discharge relate to the loading? I know that I will always have a relatively high demand 1630 - 1900 with evening meals etc, & may widen the period to 1500-2200 to make sure there is time to utilise the battery capacity and not waste it. Interested in feedback on if this will work. Thanks

I cannot find the answer to how I use solar throughout the day to ONLY charge the battery (i.e. not go directly to powering the house). Currently it switches from battery to house and the battery never gets beyond 20%. Are you any further forward with this or can you offer any advice?
Hi, i have a question. I have a Solis RAI-3K-48ES-5G and i disabled the backup function and nothing is connected to this port. But I see a backup-consumption at the inverter and the solis-techview-app. Why?
Have you received any feedback from radio amateurs regarding RF interference cause by the inverter? I've heard many stories, especially with cheap inverters causing a lot noise accros the frequency bands, in some cases making the use of radio impossible. Wondering if you have any feedback so far. Thank you.
Guessing you still need some magic combo of inverter software and monitoring dongle for this to work. I've got the menu, but the read back values don't correspond to the inverter front panel, and changing then in the app has no effect. I've got the LAN (ethernet) only dongle.
You need to upgrade to a newer style dongle (S3-WIFI-ST, S2-WL-ST, S3-GPRS-ST, S4-W4G-ST, S4-WIFI-ST). If your dongle is newer than 2 years, please contact your local service department.
On my PC I don't have an option for Inverter Control 07/01/2024 trying to stop the inverter charging the battery at peak times. On the inverter itself it set to charge from 2am till 5am and was working perfect until yesterday now it charging at off peak discharging and charging from PV and Grid how do I stop the Grid and leave PV
I have solis rhi-5k-48es-5g, it only charges the battery from the solar panels that are directly attached to it but not from the extra generated power by the other inverter, though the meter ARC10R-D16TE is showing the power being exported. Please help. It is exporting about 1kw, battery is just getting charged from the solar panels directly attached to it. Any help will be appreciated. Charge from the grid is enabled. Exactly... the goal was so people don't have to go up into the attic or the garage to change settings.
Excellent video and useful feature any chance you can do remote time changing for daylight savings.

ok.. is there anyway to get the solis to sync the time with NTP ? or via the browser ?

I have heard this before with the switching frequency being around 18khz. I'm not sure there is anything you can do about it though.

I do not have the Inverter Control button in my Solicloud account so the video is pretty useless after about 1 minute.
