Great recipe! It's amazing how many variations of dolmas there are. My mother cooks it with allspice, uses just soaked rice and beef for the filling and a little tomato paste in the boiling water and we would refer to them as yabra'

Asalaam aleikum w rahamatullah w baraakatu from UK , brother. Another wonderful video with sarma dolma in this holy month of Ramadan . Ramadan Mubarak for you and your family. May Allah forgive and accept our prayers and good deeds and bless happiness as well as mercy upon all human beings .
I'm a new subscriber and enjoy your channel very much. The music is always a delight and though I've only been able to try one of the recipes so far, it was delicious! Can you please show us how you like to make rigatoni? Some may find this to be a bit mainstream, but I'd love to see you do it. If it's not too much to ask, maybe even give a good lesson on making Italian noodles from scratch? Thank you so much!
I just read all the comments here while holding back my saliva😣...I wonder how the taste really like😒 I keep watching the video tutorial how to make this turkish tradition foods...well the ingredients its not hard to find but I want to know the leaves only, what kind of leaves it is? please answer me ✌️from Sabah, Malaysia.
Polish Golabki, Bosnea Sarma, Russian Golupsi, Ruminian Sarmale, Bulgarian Sarma, Serbian Sarma, Ukranian Golubtsi, Serbian Sarma, German Karntner Kasnudel, Assyrian Dulma, Greek Dolmades, Kurdish Yaprahi. Australian Meat pie "with sauce" hahah Sound like we have Dolma's party lol.
You mean in Iraq they called Dolma Vine leaves?. I know in Iraq they make Dolma with Vine leaves, Cabbage leaves, Spinach leaves, and with Onions, Eggplant, and more. If you don't believe me ask my mother she use to do all types of Duulma lol, Enjoy lol
Uhhh look so yummy I'll try to make it next week❤️️ I am a bad cook and is for real so this might be a dummy questions but why onion first, leek and garlic? Is that make any different taste/aroma? Thank you so much!💓
Yes. Takes longer and side from that, your aromatics impart a better flavor being sauteed or fried first, rather than steaming. So if he were to put the meat down first and add vegetables, he would have to overcook the meat, trying to cook until veggies are soft and they may still have a raw sort of flavor. That's key to almost all meals involving raw aromatics, they are delicious, sauteed first. Spaghetti, eggs, soup, beans, rice etc. Very good question. I learned the hard way. 🤦🏽♀️
Canada what is the different ? I think the different is he didn't use dill and he use minced meat. Most of the Iraqi's don't use minced meat they use diced meat

DOLMA (TOLMA) - IT'S AN ARMENIAN DISH.
Dolma is turkish. it means "to fill" just as Döner is also Turkish. It means "turning"
Wtf Dolma is a Turkish word
@@guessimwhat8720 the word is Turkish, but it is made by Armenians living in Ottoman Empire
@@tofiqbayramov3285 So why didnt they give armenian name then? Were you there ?
@@guessimwhat8720 because in Ottoman Empire, the Armenians couldn't even use their language, if you don't know.
Amazing, thank you
