은 직접 햄버거를잡고 먹던데 왜그런걸까요????
이런 컨텐츠 되게 좋은거 같습니다 한국에 거주하는 외국인들 보면 분명히 좋은 기억 나쁜 기억 다 있을텐데 유튜브나 방송이나 그냥 한국이 왜 좋은지 얼마나 좋은지에만 초점이 맞춰진 컨텐츠들만 있었던게 아쉬웠는데 이렇게 한국에서 살면서 어려웠던 점들과 힘들었던 경험에 대해서 이야기하는것도 의미가 있다고 생각합니다

i think marcella's worst memory is almost every expat's worst nightmare... especially if you are close to your family members. you never know when something could go wrong and you can't be with your family...
The last part reminded me of a line in a famous Turkish Series;
“When someone is leaving, people staying there lose one person, but the one leaving loses a lot of people.”
Means the people staying there “only” miss one person, but the one who leaves misses everyone they left behind.
Sometimes they can’t see them for one last time, can’t see them grow up, can’t be with them during their worst and best times etc.
I miss my parents, siblings, nephews/nieces even after a few days, i can’t imagine how much they must miss their families for that long. 😕

한국에서 땅을 밑으로 계속 파서 나오는 곳이 브라질과 우르과이 중간 정도 되는 곳의 앞바다인걸로 알고 있습니다
브라질에서 오신 분은
말 그대로 지구 반대편에서 오신 거나 마찬가지안 셈이죠
시차와 계절 차이가 한국과 완전 정반대이고 브라질에서 가장 먼 곳인 한국에 오신 것인데 건강하고 즐겁게 사시길 바랍니다

I myself am an expat, and the passing of someone dear to you is the worst. It has happened to me twice and the flight back home to attend the funeral is horrible cause you get excited you're going back home and see family/friends, but extremely sad that you won't see that person anymore and couldn't even say goodbye.

As messed up as this sounds, it's kinda reassuring knowing that other foreigners here are also struggling... There's so many people in Seoul, but sometimes that just makes loneliness worse, y'know? One of my best memories here was also celebrating my bday, maybe it's because we're away from family so we don't expect anything? Regardless - great vid & keep up the good work~ 즐거운 추석 보내세용~^^

외국에 있으면 좋은 일은 더 크게 기쁘고 안좋은 일은 두배로 충격받는 거 같음. 어릴 때 외국에 나가보니 모든게 다 힘들던데
I’m also an expat living in Japan and have had the being scared and not knowing what to do as well.
For a short time I wasn’t sure where I was gonna live or if id have job 😅 it’s much harder experiencing that kind of thing in a foreign place when you’re not fluent in the language yet.

my mom was in korea at the time, she had a severe hemorrhage after falling hard and hitting her head on a rock. she's at the hospital in incheon and i'm in georgia. that's like 13 to 15 hours by plane and i get a message from a relative to prepare for the worst... luckily, she made it through and i even got to visit her just before graduating high school and now after years of that traumatic memory, she's living here in america with me.
as for the best memory of korea, that would be the day i finally defeated someone in tekken 6 in the arcade i was frequenting. everyone there was really good at it. some were younger than me and i was 16 then. after losing for about 3 weeks (every day for about 4 hours each) to them, i gradually got better at it. i'm not very good at fighting games in general but i do enjoy them in medium to hard difficulty and i was surrounded by experts. one day, i finally defeated one player and he commented on how much i improved. idk if it was that specific group of players but they were very nice about it. i am by no means a pro at tekken but let's just say that i understood space management and how to actually use the 3d movements to dodge. huge improvement from where i was in the beginning.
그래도 불편한건 불편하다고 말해야한다고 생각합니다. 한국사람들이 한국에 대해서 부정적인 것 조금만 말하면 엄청 뭐라한다는 걸 알고 있지만...한국에서 오래 머무는 사람들은 자신의 권리를 위해서 목소리를 내야한다고 생각해요. 그래야 세상이 바뀌니까요. 한국 사람들도 부끄러운줄 알고 바꿀건 바꿔야합니다.
와.. 여기저기 옮겨 살아야 했을 때 진짜 너무 힘들었겠다;;

영어권 제외하고도 정말 외국인들은 영어를 꽤 잘하네요. 영어는 확실히 한국과 일본 중국이 세계에서 제일 못하는 거 같습니다. (어쩔 수 없지요) 영어를 못하면서도 세 나라가 경제 선진국(수준)으로 도약했다는 것도 오늘 생각해보니 참 신기해요.
한국분들 기억하셔야 되는게... 유튜브/방송에 나오는 외국인들 대부분이 100프로 솔직하게 얘기 안해요. 사석에서 스스럼없이 지내는 외국 친구들 특히 여자애들이랑 얘기해보면 저정도는 암것도 아니에요 ㅎㅎ 많이 순화한 겁니다. 최악의 경험은 보통 이성교제 또는 인종차별로 비롯된 경우가 대다수인데, 그런 얘기를 방송에서 절대 안 하죠. 댓글 보니 안좋은 경험 얘기하는 컨텐츠 괜찮다고들 하는데, 이분들이 진짜 필터링 안하고 얘기하면 한국사람들 반응이 어떨지 참 궁금하네요 ㅋㅋㅋ
