Priya. We shud go back tp our roots for wht we shud eat.
whereever we live in the world. Coz our genes are not american. Stay local to where u come from. Like a south indian should not give up dosa idli just coz they are in US. There is no confusion. Listen to her other videos. She is the only real dietician according to me esp for indians everywhere!!
I went thru that confusion when i came here , did mistakes but following rujuta bought me to excellent health.
Proof of the pudding is in the eating. Pls follow wht she says and see for urself 😁

Non resident Indian spend a lot of time trying to continue eating the Indian eay, our children want to eat differently and we also ate exposed to many agricultural local products that are available here. Please tell us how to bakance. Should we watch the food miles, the taste buds or something else. Would really like to know how best to adapt for optimum well being.

Manisha she is not going to reply because this video is not on her official page and also if it was on her official page she will not reply because she charges a lot of money and her advice is not free. Money talks.

I got that you are focusing more into eating local foods to Indians, But you are talking about Rich Indians only. Higher middle, Middle class and poor class people does not eat these Oats, Salad and outside items. They eat only Daal Sabji and more of Fast food of Indian streets. and the thing is we do overeating too much by this way. You should cover this topic as global perspective and in respect to every Indian. You can not just focus on Rich Indians and Oats , Salad [western style eating]. As Diabetes and thyroid all these disease are more common in higher middle and middle class people. This topic is more about Fast food, Oily food, Over eating and Stress which are more common in Each and every Indian who is over weight and obese.

She is so confused. She says you should eat local and then tells people in NY to eat Indian food like Poha etc. So how is it local. Also there are best dietitian in US but Indian after all cannot get away from their mentality. What this lady says is half baked. It is funny how they seek advice from someone who lives in India while they live in US.

she always say eat what your forefather's eat .Food and your genes go together for health.Fruits and Vejes she says to go local.Since all are Indians she might refer some idli, dosa, poha for BreakFast and rice ,dals and rotis for main course. Her mantra is continue what ur genes are used to.

She is a celebrity quack sans a recognized qualification. Unfortunately, India is a fertile ground for babas and quacks. People defend her by saying that celebrities are her patients. I pity the people who readily accept endorsements by celebrities and not by qualified professionals. I have shown her videos to highly qualified professionals in the field of nutrition and they had a good laugh.
