I think the saw is up to it. But if you’re going to fell a tree that big with an 18” bar, you really need to fan the front bore cut, not just plunge it. That way, you’re severing less fibres as you make your way round from the back. Also, if you know you’re going to jack it. Why not cut just beyond the point where the cut-out will be for the jack? Then you can be sure you’ve cut all the holding wood, without fear of having to cut near said jack. And why is your back cut level with the base of the front cut? Still, you got it over.
Apparently this man have this saw in hands first time & he's going to damage it with wrong usage. Normally he is using 70cc saws, but someone told him to make a video with Mark II.

Maybe because it's already all the 50 cc saw can handle. Can't you see the saw is bogging? A bigger bar will only be worse and with less torque to the chain ... like too much gear on your bicycle.

No, just a too little bar. With a 4 HP saw like the 550XP II, you can fell any tree.
