the longest journey I have been on in the Ami is about 200 miles and the sound is loud and forces you to speak louder to your passenger and to raise the volume of the radio but is not impossible. It may become more tiring to drive for a long journey than a modern car though - by the way, I own a Citroen 2cv and I drove it from the UK to the centre of Poland a few years ago. The total journey was about 3000 miles and much of it was on the motorway. _ I found it quite acceptable and enjoyable

On these vacations I plan to make a family trip to give him the gift (deliver the car?) and revive the old spirit a little bit, "destiny is never a place but the journey itself", a noisy one jejeje.
