That reminds me of the excitement I got from running a stock a959b on 3s. Thing was a rocket 🚀 and it’s still ticking..It oddly seems way more stable at high speed.
Hahaha yeah it's a little triumph when it doesn't just blow the esc first press of the throttle 🤣 so fun and value for money unbeatable performance stock
Keep an eye on the schottky diode temp. It gets really hot on 3s because it's only rated for 8.5v. It will take out the esc when it fails, and of course, without additional cooling it will eventually fail on 3S.
Ahh there ya go. Not a fully charged 3S. Big difference. I ran mine on about 3.8v/cell(3S) and all was good until I fully charge the brand new 2600mha 60C 3S battery. Still went for a bit too.

Seems like a nice replacement for the 12428. Have a look at the gears and see if they're cheap pot metal. YOU are in a position to start an upgrade gear business. Give all WLToys owners REAL gears!! Time for you to branch out into something new. You seem to have many full size Toyota candidates ripe for conversion to electric. We'll be eagerly awaiting your first offering.

I started the 104001 owners group on Facebook and was the first to show under the body the new central spur Design 👌 jump on board for all the latest info

Dude , this is the brushed version , it does not cog AT ALL . Also the brushless version is now fixed they have a Version 2 of the brushless and it does not cog .
