5:07 I'd recommend sanding the ceiling before you paint anymore coats over it, you will just end up sanding through the coats of paint you have applied! Get it flat, then build up the coats of paint to prevent the water stains coming through! ❤

I recommend getting yourself a roller handle extension. It saves you all the up and down movements and wear and tear on your body! Also, sanding before you primer is much, much easier. Once the primer is on, it's like sanding through a coat of paint to get to what you're trying to sand.

If the stain keeps coming through use a bit of spray lacquer over that spot then prime, it will act as a blocker. I use this trick on furniture all the time, works like a charm. I love this series so much!

I'm clearing out our 45' x 60' barn from the 40's. SO MUCH wood of every kind! Some even termite eaten. I won't be taking it to the dump though. It's all getting cut, stacked, and ready for the wood stove. I probably have 1/2 a cord and it makes great kindling. Thanks for another great video. I'm enjoying you sharing your progress.

Generally you use a oil based primer to cover water stains. The stains will likely come through if you use water based.
But if the paint that's already on the walls is a latex paint, she can't use an oil based primer over it.
You can paint oil over latex, but not latex over oil. If you want latex over oil you need to scuff sand
