I don't see RinHaru as a couple. I wasn't much of a fan of Rin either (that changed around mid-season 1). But I'd have to disagree with some of what you said. Understand that Rin was a kid when he got upset over his race with Haru. He has big aspirations, he wanted to be one of the best swimmers out there - as a kid, it would have been frustrating to not be able to win against someone who especially 'only swims free' and doesn't seem to care whether he wins or loses. Basically, talk about losing against someone who didn't even try. (Though I think it was said that Haru gets motivated to want to win when he's racing with Rin) It wasn't Rin's fault that Haru has a big heart and worried over what happened to Rin. Rin was special enough of a friend for Haru to halt swimming competitively, and that was HIS decision. Yes, he was a bit of a jerk when he came back. He lost the meaning and what it was like, swimming with and for your companions. But he eventually did come back to his old self, and look at him now! Season 2, that darling and his amazing character development. But I do agree with the fact that Makoto had always been by Haru's side, through and through. That's why they're the strongest ship out there. I'm a fellow MakoHaru shipper, but I just felt the need to defend shark the bae u vu)
Haha no I completly understand. I love Rin so much as well. I just had all this anger towards RinHaru building up inside of me that i needed to let loose. I now feel bad that I bashed on Rin. I love him and he is a great character! I get what you were saying though. He was just a kid at the time, it was Haru's fault for letting Rin take such a big toll in his heart/swimming. Wait... Guys... I just noticed something and it tore my heart apart... In this picture Makoto looks at Haru while Haru is looking forward/concentrating on the song. It's basically matches their relationship in the anime - Mako always watches over Haru and cares for him, and Haru just accepts it. But then look at the picture for Rin/Haru Drama CD. They both look at each other. AND THE SAME THING HAPPENS IN THE SERIES. For whatever reason Haru is too obsessed with Rin. And Mako is just here... to support... to stay close by... It hurts so muсh, y'all... it hurts so much... ;-;

The songs are amazing! Their voices are amazing! But is it bad bad that One of the first things I noticed was their bracelets? They might be different but look. I don't agree with RinHaru. Sorry. I used to be like yeah that's cool! But I can't do it anymore. I have become too obsessed with MakoHaru. But I'm being nice and doing into on the comments of a MakoHaru environment instead of RinHaru area. Anyways here's a rant so yeah...
I don't really like that RinHaru is a thing. They are both hot and fanart of them can be convincing, but let's be real guys... Rin is a little butt. He got upset over a little race and when Haru tryed to apoligize he wouldn't accept it. What a bishhh!!! Anyways while he was being a bish, Haru was left to feel bad for Rin while he was living in Australia. Then after all that, Rin comes back and is a total a$$ to all of the Iwatobi boys. Like yo, what's your prob?! It just frustrates me he was so mean and yet people still think they are perf. I mean yes, now he's nice, but not before. Through all the little $h!t he pulled, Makoto was there. Makoto was there before Rin, after Rin, When Rin left, and even now. How can you say they are not mean't to be?!!?!! I mean come on!! JUST URGHHHHH I DO NOT LIKE FRIGGING RINHARU I JUST FRIGGING CAN'T ANYMORE HE WAS A BUTT WHILE MAKOTO WAS ALWAYS THERE. I don't see RinHaru as a couple. I wasn't much of a fan of Rin either (that changed around mid-season 1). But I'd have to disagree with some of what you said.
Understand that Rin was a kid when he got upset over his race with Haru. He has big aspirations, he wanted to be one of the best swimmers out there - as a kid, it would have been frustrating to not be able to win against someone who especially 'only swims free' and doesn't seem to care whether he wins or loses. Basically, talk about losing against someone who didn't even try. (Though I think it was said that Haru gets motivated to want to win when he's racing with Rin) It wasn't Rin's fault that Haru has a big heart and worried over what happened to Rin. Rin was special enough of a friend for Haru to halt swimming competitively, and that was HIS decision.
Yes, he was a bit of a jerk when he came back. He lost the meaning and what it was like, swimming with and for your companions. But he eventually did come back to his old self, and look at him now! Season 2, that darling and his amazing character development.
But I do agree with the fact that Makoto had always been by Haru's side, through and through. That's why they're the strongest ship out there. I'm a fellow MakoHaru shipper, but I just felt the need to defend shark the bae u vu)
Haha no I completly understand. I love Rin so much as well. I just had all this anger towards RinHaru building up inside of me that i needed to let loose. I now feel bad that I bashed on Rin. I love him and he is a great character! I get what you were saying though. He was just a kid at the time, it was Haru's fault for letting Rin take such a big toll in his heart/swimming. I am super happy that he has tremendously improved in this season.
