11:51 That's Ro Ko the Earth Elemental Mask. 19:45 This level reminds me of the Oriental levels (Banzai Bonsai & Tsunami) you play as Coco from Crash Bandicoot the Wrath of Cortex. I'm all for Coco being more included in the story and for being playable in every Crash level, but I hope Crash will have moves with unique results that only he can do and the same goes for Coco to help differentiate them more than just Crash's Belly Flop and Coco's Leg Drop yielding the same result. As well as sections in their levels that only one of them can do.
I don't really see N.Tropy double crossing Uka Uka since it feels like he'd have enough respect for him and his powers to work under him, Cortex on the other hand I'd honestly see Uka Uka giving N.Tropy leadership of the plans, meaning he makes Cortex work under him. About the MTX, TFB did also contact a few content creators out there including CGE and they also specified that not only will there be no MTX upon launch but that there won't be any post launch either so it is worth keeping that in mind just in case something comes up afterwards.
I thought of something: Snow Way Out is supposed to be mid-way through the game. And it's the 11th dimension. So, that likely means there's about 20 or so dimensions total. If we assume that the dimensions are going by the standard Crash rules, there's probably around 3-5 levels per dimension. If we go by 3 (levels per dimension), then that would make about 60 levels. Which could technically grow to well over 100, if you also count the sections you play as Dr Cortex and Dingodile, along with N. Verted mode. If we go by 5 levels per dimension, that would put the initial total at roughly 100 (which could hypothetically push the total levels to *over 200* if you count N. Verted and the extra characters). 4 levels per dimension would give us roughly 80 levels to start with, which functions as a handy middle ground. Or, if you *really* wanna get experimental, then each dimension could theoretically have anywhere from 3-5 levels (in other words, one dimension could have 3 levels, the next dimension could have 5, the next could have 4, the next could go back to having 3, etc.) Side note: It doesn't affect much right now, but I noticed that Snow Way Out seems to take place during the 1950s (according to the pause screen).
Something I think is worth pointing out is in Spyro 2, you could unlock new abilities. In Spyro 3, those same abilities were available by default. The logic was that these were moves that Spyro had learned, and he didn't simply unlearn them leading into the next adventure. Something similar could be going on here with Crash and his Crash 3 abilities, perhaps minus the wumpazooka as that's less of an ability he learned and more of a physical weapon he carries on him and could have been lost or left behind.
I think the tornado spin might break the game if they left it on the game. but it would be nice to see them back and used properly in the level design, i felt they were a lost potential in warped because they were barely required to beat the levels. In fact its very possible to beat warped any% without ever using an power from the bosses.
@@bandicootsmwcentral2950 I see the tornado spin as being better as an assist tool than as a requirement to beat levels. It's better for it to be to help new players land their jumps and attack enemies and for veterans to use to perform skips than as an actual requirement to beat a level.

Holy shit, 44 minutes!? Now I realise why this took a while. I'm not really sure where to begin since you went over everything so thoroughly. I guess first I should point out how much I love the character models now. At first I was a little lukewarm, but after a bit of time, and with the lighting upgrade, I've really warmed to them. They're so expressive and exaggerated, just like old Warner Bros cartoons. I'm also very glad to hear that Crash 2 was the biggest influence on the game. In my opinion, 2 holds up the best of the original trilogy: its controls are the most precise and it didn't go overboard with vehicle stages. So far I think we've only seen one vehicle in Crash 4 - the jetboard seems to be returning. A lot of people seem to think that Cortex knocked Uka-Uka out, but I'm not entirely certain. Cortex could've been doing something else entirely with that stick, and Uka-Uka used nearly all of his power to create that rift portal, passing in the process. My reason for thinking this is that I would find it strange that the powerful Uka-Uka could be knocked out with a two-by-four wielded by the physically weak Cortex.I then think it's possible that N.Tropy comes up with some sort of plan to conquer all dimensions and asserts dominance over Cortex in Uka-Uka's absence. Cortex however, eventually conspires to betray N.Tropy and usurp his plan. Possibly with Uka-Uka returning at some point, I can't imagine him being knocked out for too long. I think that Cortex and Tropy start to recruit their old allies as soon as they can, explaining N.Gin, who appears to have become a musician in Cortex's absence (I love the idea of N.Gin's band being inspired by Motörhead). I think it was this wish to recruit old allies that led to the destruction of Dingodile's diner. Perhaps he refused because he had his diner to look after, and was happier away from his life of villainy. Maybe Cortex and Tropy thought that if they got rid of the diner, then Dingodile would've joined them, but instead he gets all pissed and sets out for revenge. I honestly hope that Dingodile is neither a true hero or a villain.I just want him to be mega-pissed about his diner and trying to find a way to get it back. I think that would be pretty funny. I'm very relieved that there will be no mtx, and that's they've made that extremely clear. I'm still bitter about them existing in CTRNF. The skins they showed off all look pretty cool, especially Coco's outfits (makes me wonder if CTR will ever get one final big update with Crash 4 content). And N.Verted mode just looks crazy. I don't usually care for mirrored modes in games, but I'll definitely be playing through all of these - hell, I'm one of those masochist who'd even time trial them. I do wonder what other characters we'll play as. I think it's just a matter of time before they show off Tawna. Going off that old artwork, Tawna seems inevitable. I must say though, I've absolutely no idea how she would play or what her story would be. There are lots of fan favourite characters that we haven't seen yet: Tiny, Brio, Pinstripe and Ripper Roo just to name a few (I'm only including characters who existed in the NST). Wether we'll play as any of them though, who can say? I think the "Crunch" on the fridge is just an easter egg, there'd need to be a big explanation for where he came from otherwise. The only way I can see Crunch make it in is if you find him in some alternate dimension, but that seems a little too convenient and obviously fan-servicey to me. In any case, I think the game is going to be a big success. Not only do we, the fans, seem to like what we're seeing, so do others. I saw Maximilion Dood's reaction to the state of play and even he seemed interested in Crash 4, despite not really being into that type of game. He even went as far as to call it one of the highlights of the show. You know that even when the non-fans are interested, then it's gonna be a hit. Loved the video Vivi. If Dr. N. Tropy is planning something devious by destroying all multi verse, I believe that N. Tropy is a main antagonist and the final boss of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. And I think Dr. Cortex doesn't like it when N. Tropy is taking his role and being told by N. Tropy what to do. 🙂 And Dingodile is an officially a playable character in his own story timeline to on his quest to find out who is responsible for blown up his beloved diner in the Bayou Swamp after he's retired from his life of villainy after he was defeated and humiliated by Crash from the event of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. And I like Dingodile's newest design in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. His design is way much better than...... you know,.... Dingodile's Alf design in Crash on the Run if I have to be honest with that. Because I see Canadian Guy Eh's reaction about Dingodile's design in Crash on the Run. But Dingodile looks great in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. 🙂👍 And speaking of playable characters, can't wait to see Tawna in action in her own story timeline if hopefully she'll be a playable character of this game, because that'll be wicked awesome! But I've gotta stay tuned for that. 😃 The Quantum Masks the protectors of Time and Space. Lani-Loli the Mask of Phase that gives the ability to phase any different objects in and out from the existence,..... Kupuna-Wa the Mask of Time that gives the ability to slow down time on different platforms,..... Ika-Ika the Mask of Gravity that gives the ability to switch gravity for upside down on every platforms,..... And Akano,... I wonder what his Special power ability looks like. And I don't think Akano is a villain. Akano is maybe a grumpy mask, but that dosen't mean that Akano is truly evil, because he's one of the protectors of Time and Space along with the other three members of the Quantum Masks: Lani-Loli, Kupuna-Wa and Ika-Ika. But I gotta stay tuned for information about Akano soon. 🙂 And I still can't wait to get Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time on PS4 by October 2nd. Because I'm still Super excited for this! 😄👏
I think it was said that the Wumpa's are automatically drawn to the characters because they are part of the end level tally. It was made so missing them would be harder.
I can't help but notice when talking about unlocking skins, they only mention earning gems and beating challenges; not purchasing them with wumpa. Makes me wonder if the skins can only be earned and the wumpa currency is used for something else entirely.
Where’s Tiny at though? He’s the only one from Warped missing. He’s loyal to Cortex so he must be recruited again. Just like N.Gin is loyal to Cortex as well and he’s back as a boss.
Those costumes in the begining of the video are BADASS! And that chicken costume for Crash lmao And that Lani-Loli power in gameplay I think they took inspiration from Mighty Switch Force.

I really really hope they just stick with this art design. I hate the inconsistency of them always being re-designed. If there is an endgame narrative explanation they can do whatever. I don’t want the next crash team racing or the next game for crash to have different eyeballs in different ears and different for texture. He does look a lot like Spyro so it’s going to be awesome if they do a crossover. They are designs are really going to blend well. Hopefully Spyro doesn’t get a redesign he looks PERFECT... I don’t really like Opga Oogas redesign... but he’s fine I guess.

I can't wait to play as Dingodile! The only very small complaint is he's a little chunky thicc. To me, Dingodile was never fat looking more cylinder built. Other than that I'm very hyped for this game! Hope we get to see Tawna in the next trailer/gameplay! Thanks for the vid!
What do you guys think the odds of crunch just being a new character added like Coco, no explanation or origin, that he will be given his origin to a degree in this game, crash bandicoot for, that we will have an Easter egg or maybe a teaser at the end teasing him coming or just set up to be given an origin in the next game?

Toys for Bob have stated you have fan favorites characters as playable I want to know that means Nina cortex is going to be in the game as for dingodile I seriously doubt he's going to help cortex or N Trophy if they are responsible for destroying his Diner the idea of a villain changing their ways is it good idea because we rarely see that in the Crash Bandicoot universe

And I don't think Akano is a villain. Akano is maybe a grumpy mask, but that dosen't mean that Akano is truly evil, because he's one of the protectors of Time and Space along with the other three members of the Quantum Masks: Lani-Loli, Kupuna-Wa and Ika-Ika.
But I gotta stay tuned for information about Akano soon. 🙂
And I still can't wait to get Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time on PS4 by October 2nd. Because I'm still Super excited for this! 😄👏

I think it was said that the Wumpa's are automatically drawn to the characters because they are part of the end level tally. It was made so missing them would be harder.

I can't help but notice when talking about unlocking skins, they only mention earning gems and beating challenges; not purchasing them with wumpa. Makes me wonder if the skins can only be earned and the wumpa currency is used for something else entirely.
Maybe we could purchase some skins too despite what they said.

I really really hope they just stick with this art design. I hate the inconsistency of them always being re-designed. If there is an endgame narrative explanation they can do whatever. I don’t want the next crash team racing or the next game for crash to have different eyeballs in different ears and different for texture. He does look a lot like Spyro so it’s going to be awesome if they do a crossover. They are designs are really going to blend well. Hopefully Spyro doesn’t get a redesign he looks PERFECT... I don’t really like Opga Oogas redesign... but he’s fine I guess.

I can't wait to play as Dingodile! The only very small complaint is he's a little chunky thicc. To me, Dingodile was never fat looking more cylinder built. Other than that I'm very hyped for this game! Hope we get to see Tawna in the next trailer/gameplay! Thanks for the vid!

What do you guys think the odds of crunch just being a new character added like Coco, no explanation or origin, that he will be given his origin to a degree in this game, crash bandicoot for, that we will have an Easter egg or maybe a teaser at the end teasing him coming or just set up to be given an origin in the next game?

Toys for Bob have stated you have fan favorites characters as playable I want to know that means Nina cortex is going to be in the game as for dingodile I seriously doubt he's going to help cortex or N Trophy if they are responsible for destroying his Diner the idea of a villain changing their ways is it good idea because we rarely see that in the Crash Bandicoot universe
