Yeah, it lives in my truck all year. I also fat bike in the winter and carry my fat bike around in the snow. I do use an anti rust spray on the threads where you adjust for tire sizes. No noticeable rusting anywhere on it. They do a pretty good job at whatever they paint or powder coat this with.
What size are your fat bike tires? Is that a cake eater up front? Does the cake eater fit in the rack? Does the wind catch the pogies with the bikes in backwards?
27.5 wheels, both cake eater tires front and rear, fits into the rack no problem, and the wind blows them a little bit it's never been a problem. When I used bar mitts which just velcro on it wasn't a problem either.
I see mostly 3 bikes/racks usually when people are reviewing Ride88 in their trucks. Could you squize in 4 29" mtb enduro bikes at the same time without any issues? Taling about 2023 Ranger Raptor size truck bed for example? Thx.
Yes but it would require unscrewing a part every time, 4 would be tough with the tailgate closed. If you left the tailgate down you could for sure, or had an 8' bed then yes.
Great channel, thankyou, I'm learning a lot!!
Glad to hear. Have a great day.
Good to know. Thank!
Good review. Thanks man.
Thanks for watching.
Do you leave your rack in your truck year round? I’m curious how well these will hold up to the elements over time. Any rusting or fading?

It'd be crazy tight and you for sure couldn't close your tailgate with the short bed.
@@AdventuresWithClair Thx for the answer.
Think 4 could fit without rubbing? Also, is there a way to fold them down for a tonneau cover?

Great video
Thanks
Thanks for watching, much appreciated!!!
I love mine too
Nice which build did you get?
can you fit 4 of those?
I’m told yes I haven’t personally tried it though. I rarely carry more than 2 and when we do big shuttles I use a tailgate pad for 4+ bikes
what is the length of your truck bed?
6-1/2 Foot, if you have a short bed you may have to leave the tailgate down. It comes with straps for that with the kit.
Imagine that - yee haw pick up trucks hauling bikes IN THE BED OF OF THE PICK UP TRUCK?!
(head explodes)
I know right!!! 😎😂😎😂
Nice this would probably work in a cargo van
It definitely would, awesome setup for a cargo van.
