      I'll invite any brake that I don't have to crush to get them to lock the tire. I've only tried Shimano and SRAM (not maven) so far, but they all require so much hand force to keep them braking heavily. Maybe I'm just used to supermoto and moto brakes, but I can easily loop my 145lb supermoto with far less force than I use on a normal ride on my MTB. Why all mtb brakes suck I don't know, some companies should really take some inspiration from the rest of the 2 wheel market in lever feel, lever adjustments, and brake power.

      I’m not a trailer install expert and wouldn’t even know how to remove it, let alone worry about the hole it would create on the top of my trailer. @AdventuresWithClair if you pull your lever normally after sitting for a few seconds hold it where it stops for a second like your breaking then release and pull the lever again and see where the lever stops each pull on everyobe I have seen is like a 1/4 inch farther out each pull and even dually after a few pulls its quite far out. It only does it for fast pulls once yoyr off the break for a second the breaks are normal. Think of it when your ridding tech steep stuff and you lock your rear wheel and have to release and get back on the brakes fast. I will have a full review video coming in about 2-3 weeks making sure I get some good miles on it before I make that video. It weighs 30.4 lbs in its current setup it's the C70 build large but I swapped to a 160 lyrik ultimate on the front and put code rsc brakes on. I will be putting 165mm cranks on when they come currently they are 170mm. It climbs way better than the Hightower V2, and I think it climbs as good as the ripmo but more controlled. It's only spent 1 day down in St. George on Barrel Trail, I feel it's probably the best climbing bike I've ever owned. Especially in the upper flip chip setting. But most of my bikes are built for downhill prior to this one. I have a video called trail bike showdown where I compare it to a bunch of bikes I test rode before I bought this bike. After 2 days of riding the demo on this bike I HAD to own it. I don't want to spoil my review video but if you are in the market I'd highly recommend a ride on it.

    Sardine is a great long downhill for those that don't enjoy gnarly rough trails...also great if you do and want a long, chill, classic downhill trail ride. Fun to watch you ride most of my local haunts!

      Thanks for watching I’m glad you are enjoying it. Slowly building a library of trails in Utah for everyone.

    Does the mattress block the heater return? if so how do you deal with it?

    • @AdventuresWithClair
      @AdventuresWithClair 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No the heater return is only 6” on the far side even though the grill is like 10”. So it’s not blocked at all

    thanks for your review! i've heard about more fatigue with this brakes, what do you feel about it?

    • @AdventuresWithClair
      @AdventuresWithClair 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No fatigue at all if anything I’d say less than other brakes.

    You can go both directions but why would you when 90% of the riders are going the way you did?! I rode it for the first time a few weeks ago had to stop and move over during a really nice flowy downhill to let an uphill rider go by. They really should make it one direction. Nice riding by the way and sweet bike!

    I see mostly 3 bikes/racks usually when people are reviewing Ride88 in their trucks. Could you squize in 4 29" mtb enduro bikes at the same time without any issues? Taling about 2023 Ranger Raptor size truck bed for example? Thx.

      It'd be crazy tight and you for sure couldn't close your tailgate with the short bed.
