POLAR PRO RECON VND MATTE BOX | REVIEW AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS

In this video I unbox and show you the brand new Polar Pro VND Matte Box as well as my first impression and what it look like on my canon C70. Yes I know the canon c70 has built in ND filters but I was filming this video on my R5. Anyway check out my first impressions of Polar Pro's newest product. Enjoy!

Do you recommend the matte box or starting off with the polar pro vnd filter 2-5 stop? I have an r5 and do a lot of video outside and see how either the recon system or stand alone vnd filter would be helpful!

Hey Chris! So both are great. The reason why I chose to go with the Matte Box and the ND filters is because I shoot at harsh hours of the day and extreme sports so the matte box helps with the harsh sun as well as an added protector for stuff I shoot. I also like the way the nd filter is still accessible with the matte box on. Some are way harder than this one. I would say for the long run and if you’re doing more video, I’d go with the recon. You can add additional filters to the from too and still use the filters without the matte box. Win win
