Those Alcoas in silver are always a nice look. Something I like about them is you can get trailer wheels that have a very similar look in grey or silver so you get a nice clean professional looking combo with the truck and trailer going down the highway. Lowers the threshold for cops to just completely ignore you when you're hauling something heavy.
@AbsurdAutomotive I have a 79 bronco that I'm trying to swap with an om606 td... have almost everything for the swap but we will see. Was gonna do a manual swap on it, but now I'd kinda like to keep it automatic just cause I don't want to cut up the truck to fit the zf5. It's a slow going process though for sure!
i like those wheels you picked up :D they will look good on the truck. i would not paint them black because they dont show up well it well in pictures fummins on fummins action the truck looks fantastic , the paint really stands out quite well , those seats really look amazing . i need to get the leather seats in my vehicle redone your truck has quite a story , from a field in pieces to art work way up in Alaska :)
As far as the wheels being 10", I think that means they're not a factory part. I think the factory wheels were 7 inches. I had a set of 31x10.5 tires on my half ton when I bought it and they didn't look bad on there at all. In metric that's about the same as a 265/75r15. Those should fit the 10" rims you got without any stretch, and I doubt they'll rub even at full lock. Mine didn't, and it was a 2wd truck too. I would imagine you're a little higher off the ground so you may even be able to step up to 33's or 35's without issue.
I just watched it again and caught the 2 Fords driving past the Ford dealer. How perfect!👍
Yeah I saw that it was a cool little shot!!
Definitely turned out good
Thank you!!!

I think I’m going to run 33s so we will see how it turns out!
Any chance you’d be willing to share how much the paint job cost?
It was expensive lol. It cost me a little over 10 grand.
@@AbsurdAutomotive unfortunately that’s what I aspected for a jaw dropping paint job like that. Thank you for the information
@@MatthewFalcon672 no problem it is what it is. I’ve wanted this truck forever so it’s worth the money for me!
