Hi - I went on one of the tours at Milton keyes factory - we checked out all of the formula 1 stuff - we even were able to see a hint of the car while on tour - the guide pointed out that the room with the car (that looked like a version of the aston Martin valkyrie, was actually the RB17) - and he gave us some backstory behind it. I just wanted to let you know about this because I wanted to praise the amazing job that the tour guide did and how amazing this team is.

Have you watched Maisteer's latest video? He explains how the high pitched exhaust sound is produced. Something about a stepped exhaust? Not sure it is necessarily to do with having a 10 into 1 header. I could be wrong but it seems like a bit of an industry secret.
If it's really to out perform today's F1 cars around Silverstone, we can only compare it to the Porsche 919 Evo, but that's an all wheel drive hybrid beast. Hard to imagine staying with that car somehow. The acceleration is insane, and at Spa it took Eau rouge at a 333 kph minimum speed. Low speed cornering and aero may be where all the speed is found. Super efficient downforce, but apparently with a lower ceiling. How's that to deal with Copse and supsequent corners?
Let's ask why Pierre Wache & Christian Horner ignored both Adrian Newey and Max Verstappen to develop the RB20 into the fastest backwards performance mid season of an f1 car in the hydrid era. Obviously since July 2023 Newey was focused on the hypercar.
I'd love to see that too, but we all know the team, and everything Lawrence does, is to benefit his son Lance. Lance isn't going anywhere, and Max won't put up with Lance's cr#p.

It’s a massive loss, especially knowing that he’s off to Aston Martin for a staggering $100 million over three years-double what Red Bull offered. It’s a shame Red Bull couldn’t secure a more competitive salary for someone so instrumental to their success. Wishing Newey all the best with Alonso and Verstappen at Aston Martin in 2026. Newey's influence at Red Bull has been massive, and the decline in performance of the RB20 after sidelining his advice is telling. The team ignored his suggestions, leading to issues like flawed cooling systems and a car that struggles on bumpy tracks. This drop in performance proves that Newey's input is worth every penny, even if it's $30 million a year. Without him, Red Bull is already losing ground to McLaren and Mercedes. Best of luck to him at Aston Martin with Alonso and Verstappen in 2026!
To match an F1 car while heavier and RWD, with 5G max...it may need to achieve those 5G at a lower speed already. Say, in a slow corner where F1 pulls 2G, it might already be at 3G for instance. F1 cars are a bit like seals on ice in the slower speed corners, so that's indeed where other cars have a chance to make up for F1's high speed prowess. Straight like, there is a bit of time to be won, but going 350 where F1 does 330 doesn't help a lot.
This is great content. If you plan to stick with this setup, put alcantara on the reflective parts. This will help with sound. Also, use a camera in continuous eye autofocuss, attach an nd filter, and bounce the light rather than directly at the talent and interviewer.
The Airstream trailer is not good for audio quality and the reflections are a distraction. Get the same trailer that Chrissy Rouse got for the Chasing The Racing motorbike pod. Much better!
I really hope the last chapter of the greatest car designer in F1 history's career isn't to be swallowed up by the limitless pocketbook of F1's most corrupt oligarch and billionaire, Lawrence Stroll. Surely Adrian has enough money at this point and, one would hope, more respect for the sport than to work for a man whose sole interest is to buy his son a championship and make more money for his Saudi partners. For decades I've been pondering a race car to grow into. In my ideal world, a car could behave closely to an F4 car, F3, etc, all the way up.
