Absolutely love the part where Hyuse hits Obishima with the car. She already saw him use Escudo to launch Ikoma earlier and prepares for the same thing to happen to her, only to get blind sided by the car. Since the car isn't made of trion it won't harm her, but getting rocked by the car sends her way out of position in the formation and disorients her heavily. Plus its just such a creative way to use Escudo that only Hyuse could possibly use.
Just like Yuma's use of Scorpion when he was leaking Trion and used scorpion to patch himself up. Or Kazama using Scorpion as mole claws. Heck even Murakami when he used Kogetsu: Senku to almost take down a pincer from Yuma and Hyuse at the same time after Hyuse managed to use Escudo on Murakami to limit his movements. Every victory and defeat is a nail biter pretty much determined by ones battle IQ.
I like how that sequence also displays skill difference inside the team. If you pay attention you can see Yuba was also going to be hit by the car but he was actually quick enough to dodge it.
100%. World Trigger hast one of the best Combat/Power Systems, the characters and world building are phenomenal as well. It can feel very slow-paced due to the Detail that goes into everything, especially the current Arc of the Manga, but IT feels so satisfying seeing all that planning and still BE surprised due to in the Moment decisions.
The B-Rank Wars is easily the most creative and interesting tournament arc in shounen. World Trigger is so amazing and I’m so happy it’s finally getting more recognition
@@TrueReverse74 nahhh, most of the character there are hella powerful or enough to out power osamu. But osamu is not strong, he is weak so i believe those scene or anime scene wouldn't do the trick. and most of all it's teamwork not individual haha tho i wanted to watch jjk but i couldn't bring myself to because sometimes i feel meh about the story (but i like the character design), tho jjk is inspired by WT. those anime has fancy graphic even in manga but in wt theres no heavy graphics so yea, just saying that WT is unique and i cant seem to compare it to other anime, both story and plotting, iq battle, power system and the attention to the detail is "chek's kiss". have a nice day
@@TrueReverse74 HxH fights tend to become "everything and the kitchen sink" where it's just kinda throwing everything into a blender and yeah sometimes it's cool but it doesn't offer the same kind of analysis or breakdown that WT can pull off. Also, by "has read all of WT" you mean you're up to date with the most recent chapters right? right??? WT also has very clean graphics, they're not bad, they're clean and relatively minimalist. Instead of being incredibly fancy, the graphics tell you everything you need to know and prioritize being easy to follow; for example, you can, yourself, count the fuujin strikes jin launched during black trigger retrieval. You could, if you paid enough attention, say "hey wait a second i only saw 7 fuujin- AH HA!" Whereas that's really REALLY difficult sometimes with HxH (I fell off of jjk after like 10 chapters)
I love that in this show no one team ever looks stupid, even the shotgun boys get their time to shine. I love how you see why everyone is ranked and they all present different puzzles for the protagonists to solve.
I love when they even go out of there way to make the idiot characters have a relatively high battle IQ compared to most shonen characters. Like Ikoma bluffing people with his kagetsu whirlwinds
Ikoma is a strong ace and we know Mizukami is the most strategic of the team, really is Oki and Minamisawa who bring that team down imo. Still a fun set of characters.
The 2nd Hyuse moment, you left out a very important thing. He not only did all that you mentioned, he also made it seem like his team lost the Ace in their Sleeve that they had prepared for another Team's Ace, the Viper shots that he previously was only ever sending straight. Also in the first fight where he used Escudo, he also changed plans on the fly as preparation for the next fight. His in the moment and pre planning Battle IQs blend into each other.
the 1st season having not the best quality animation, it fell to the wayside but world trigger deserves to be in the discussion of top anime/manga of its generation
IQ stands for intelligence quotient, it represents academic ability. EQ stands for emotional quotient, it represents emotional understanding and comprehension. Following that naming logic it should be called BQ not battle IQ because it represents ability in battle strategy

ugh I want more of the manga to drop :((

for people who haven’t seen this series: if you haven’t seen osamu vs kazama, chances are you haven’t seen a truly big brain fight yet.
Episode 18?😊
I think watching sukuna vs gojo and Most hxh fights do the trick (Coming from someone has head read all of WT)

I’m so glad somebody said it. I’ve been saying this FOR YEARS

I really love this anime, have rewatched it a coupe times already since the fights are designed beautifully
Hyuse is the guy who solo queues for squad matches
After watching the clip with Ko vs Hyuse and Yuma, Ko has some very flexible shoulders to pull off that sword swing he caught Yuma with.
Breaking the fights down was the best part of the video!! Great work!
Always love watching a fellow World trigger fan's opinion about the anime
@5:24 Es-CAR-go? LOL
Otherwise spot on so far.
one of my fav animes like its so good shame it has no season 4 yet still waiting

He didn't invent the term, the anime community did
@@wolfiewoo3371 I am aware, I was just pointing out that I didn't think the nomenclature made sense
I'll be honest. you put too much summary on the fight scenes and don't put enough input on why they are good.
