Another great video, my friend...horrible luck with the bottles...but it is amazing that companies can't seem to figure out how to keep a bottle sealed...then there are others that you wonder if you will ever get it open...lol

Thanks! It is truly baffling on these seals. As a follow up I did contact Loctite, they were apathetic. Also contacted Devcon, no response. I wouldn't have expected an emergency board call from them, but even a tepid boilerplate response would have been something. On the suggestion of garrettswoodworx1873's here in the comments section, I will try BSI next time.

You might want to try BSI (Bob Smith Industries) 5 minute epoxy if you haven't already done so. I've used it for years on everything from RC boats, cars and aircraft to model railroading to woodturning and literally never had a problem. One caveat when purchasing: When they advertise a 4.5oz package, that's the combined volume of the two bottles. If you want "4oz" bottles, buy the 9oz package. (Their CA is also great!)

I'd used BSI stuff years ago, didn't know they made a 5-minute epoxy. After I'm done with this current Devcon, I think I'll give it a try, thanks for that tip!

@@Raildig You're welcome! I believe they make 5, 15 & 30 minute versions. I mostly use the "4.5 oz combined" size because it's convenient for the volume I use and I can get it locally but get the 9 oz version when they run out of the smaller size and I've never had shelf life issues.

@@garrettswoodworx1873 I have the patience of a gnat, so it's the 5 minute version for me... LOL. The only 5-minute I can get locally in the bottles is from the local marina, I live by the water and we have several marine supply stores here, that didn't even occur to me as I'm not a boat person. I look forward to trying the BSI next time.
