Barry you're awesome! Your vids have inspired me to start my own TH-cam channel to help inspire new tyers. I'd appreciate any support or tips!

Very nice Barry! Love the inner glow from the mirage tinsel. Will add this pattern to the "to be tied" list. ATB!

Thats a great little pattern and gives me a few ideas to try out. I love opal tinsel for nice effects, and especially with some rainbow thread underneath for a base to get a great dark but lively coloured body. Topping it with some semi transparent stretch like this for that 3D appearance would certainly catch me some fishermen if nothing else! :D

Hey Mr. Clark. Beautiful Caddis fly sir. Here in Virginia, USA. I fish the Jackson River. However, the big brown trout like the colors light brown, sulphur, red and olive. Was wondering in your opinion if these colors would work on this pattern? I have done some Entomology on the river. It appears most of the Grubs are olive, white and brown.. Thanks as always for a fantastic video
    Danny.

Hi Danny, and thanks. Yeah your right, those are the most common colours for caddis larva, and they work, so tie some up. Using strong bright gaudy colours also works, like putting Fluor green and bright red tags on flies...
