Way to go, Mr. T, way to change it up. I think that this actual gaming should be a regular part of your channel with Gpu and Cpus for value to performance.
Also, if possible, set up a server and invite some of your subscribers to game with you. It would make outstanding content. Keep doing what you do!!!

Being a 4k gamer myself I personally won't even bother with raytracing until gpus become powerful enough to run them while still maintaining decent frames without any over-clocking, it's still a fairly new introduction to the gaming industry and for me it's not worth the performance loss even when purchasing the top of the line nvidia gpus.

My issue is that suddenly people with 6900xt or, like me, with 2080, look around and say:" Oh, shit, my gpu sucks!" . No it doesn't. You still get same damn frames in same games you played before. YOU DON'T NEED an upgrade every 2 years.

yea i dont see the point when people complain about noise. its in your case and you play with headphones on, most people anyway, so what does it matter? and if your not playing a game, why are your fan speeds so high in the first place? if you play with speakers than the noise from the GPU should never be louder than the thing your playing. just saying idk why this is a complaint.

....yea the issue is the 6900XT isnt really a 4k GPU. i know it can handle it yea but every GPU can be played at 4k. the sweet spot and fps is the 1440p ultra settings where you dont have to to use software like FRS 3 to play at good frames. i have a 6900XT Toxic and i used to play at 4k, but 1440p is where its at. you can play absolutely maxed and also temps are super cool compared to at 4k. I also thew a under volt on it and I'm averaging nothing over 65 C on the hotspot. this will allow for far less paste replacement as well as heat management in your case. there is no need to play at 4k yet honestly. as much as everyone advertises 4k, basically you all fall for the trap. no card is 4k ready IMO. they all need software to play new games to have solid fps. maybe the next gen cards. but currently event the 4090 pumps out tons of heat just to keep up with 4k gaming. i dont see the worth when most PC owners use 1080p and 1440p respectively as monitors. 4k monitors are still way overpriced and most of the time have lower refresh rates.

6900XT is still a great card and for 1440p it is excellent. IMO, If you game at 4k, the 7900XTX is worth the extra $300 if it is within your budget. I average at least 50% better fps at 4k compared to my old 6900XT and the partner model 7900XTX's can stretch their legs a bit farther if you are willing to give them the juice, I can seen another 15% performance in some games when uncorking my XFX Merc 7900 XTX, granted it is consuming over 400W though, but still under 60C edge temps with quiet fan profile (45% Max). I never do FSR or DLSS balanced, it generally looks too soft and often introduces more artifacts than I personally like (more so FSR than DLSS) compared to the quality setting, which usually looks mostly excellent for both upscaling technologies and I have no problem using.

Also, the graphical difference between ultra and very high/high, is not much either. You'd have to zoom in on the details that are changed between those settings, but during actual gameplay, nobody's going to notice. Better to just play on high/very high and save some frames rather than running it on ultra for the sake of running it on ultra.
