I watched this several hours after the actual ceremony and can say, without any doubt in my mind, that it was one of the most satisfying public events I have experienced in my almost 93 years of existence on earth. Living in New Zealand, I rely upon TH-cam and other social platforms to remain up to date with current events. So thank you to all those involved with the production of this video. I will be forever thankful for the opportunity to witness this event.

congratulations to the receivers of the nobel prize this year! Meanwhile I feel sad about how little the view count is. Does no one care about academia anymore? We have to reflect on that.
I think our senses are quite the sources of aspects of the Universe... not necessarily surpass them, but certainly influence them. Atomic physics has progressed yet again. Congratulations to all award winners!
God bless Norwegian Royal Family, Norwegian people and above all late Mr. Nobel. I call Norway a civilized country. in fact Persia used to be on top of the list more than 2500 years ago before invasion of Arabs.
@@gorand2940 I know it was in Sweden, but it is about Nobel awards! This gala was attended by Norwegian Royal family as well as Swedish Royals. Did you know that both of these Scandinavian Royals were good friends of Iranian Royal family and celebrated 2500 years of Persian Empire with Shah & Empress Farah in the capital of Persia at the ruins of Persepolis in 1971?
Time: 👏👏 Congratulations Nobel Price winners ! Change incorporates inclusion of service, for Women in the workforce as well as men who support their endeavors. Thank you very much.
All manner of congratulations to the winners 🏅 Also, cannot but remember the fictional take on this ceremony in The Big Bang Theory. This so academic event now has an undertone of pure fun to it. 😘
What a beautiful ceremony and how refreshing to have some achievements publicly celebrated. Outside of The Arts world. I am interested to learn of more of these types of events. I remember sometimes The Royal Society in England gives a lecture. Also sometimes in The UK. The British Science Association organises an event. A university may have an open day. It's also possible to join The Royal Society of Chemistry. But these career areas seem to link into Public Sector jobs and a few Private Sector jobs. Mainly in Teaching. Sometimes it feels like this academic pathway. Is like a group of children who all believe in fairies. The answers are learned and can't be guessed at. The generally accepted laws can not be questioned. News is reported by creative writing specialists perhaps. Who might easily be making things up about an overwhelmingly huge population. I thought Alfred Nobel mainly profited from manufacturing explosives. In particular dynamite. Maybe he did not manage to produce an heir or his vision was to provide for a school prize ? Yet the prize was so huge in value . It attracted adults to compete for the money. Professors at the top of their academic discipline. Directed their research teams. To perhaps find out useful things or more likely towards areas thst could attract grant money. From any industry with the wit to try and do a little Research and Development. If someone might like to pay me to do something. I might well do it. But Ibfeel bitter that perhaps University sent me in the wrong direction to where I could not get a job. Where getting a well paid job. Led to better paid jobs which upheld my integrity. University for myself led to poverty and desperation. Stress and very little financial rewards. Working often led to financial rewards. But often I was surrounded by folks completely lacking the necessary basic skills as they had been brought in from irrelevant sectors. Goodnight. I used to hate people persuing their passion and trying so hard to be The Best. In a ultra competitive jobs market instead of taking what work was available. And perhaps striving towards good pay.
I think there should be a Singapore 1-st Primeminister who must receive a Nobel price because he is a person who creates Golden Singapore from very poor country and the most clean economy , high technology, first world country and there others things as well. Please, you may research about the 1st PM in Singapore, and you can not find anyone who makes a first world in the world. Sorry my English is not good but I try my best to explain about him . He is real here in the world, and he deserves novel price and there is more important points that he is creating a Golden Singapore in present(1st world country)from very, very much much poor country .

Not attendence Nargis Mohammadi. Why
She is in prison. Also, the peace price has its separate ceremony hosted in Olso.
She is in Evin prison in Tehran, Iran 😔🤦♀️😔
Because she is a human rights activist
As it was said she is in prison.
