Used to be, one took Blue Parkway out of KCMO; it was all US 50 and that was both the way to Sedalia and the long way to St. Louis. It's now a city street, MO 350 and finally 50 once it leaves 470. Like most of this huge metro, it has sprawled out from the old days, when one passed Unity Village and went out through the farm fields to the 71 Bypass.

LS has some of the nicest municipal parks anywhere. And they have Whataburger and Culver’s on the same street, across the street from each other. An all American suburb. Next time you’re over that way, make the left at O’Brien/Murray and go into that shopping center and go to Unk’s. They have really good burgers there.
