What was the distance it had to travel, and what PSI was your compressor set at? I'm looking at getting one of these to use with a press brake, and it seems like the best deal for the price!
Way the hell too slow ... Did you bleed the press ? Years ago HF was questionable, but a lot of very good tools and things now days . I have their 20 ton and right away changed the jack to air over hydraulic and it's ten or more times faster than that one and works great . I buy about everything from HF anymore . :)

Harbor freight presses are nothing but cheaply made junk!
