One of these days when chat requests the green timer, I want it to be yellow and Wirtual just does not acknowledge it for the rest of the stream. Or when people try to tell him its yellow he just says 'Looks green to me, maybe it's your monitor' and I wanna watch chat implode on itself. Or maybe a shade thats right on the verge between the two colours, but still technically green.
I think Wirtual brought up a really good point at 4:00, he really should add both bpm and attempt counters to the stream permanently. I'm glad he brought that up.
Tysm for playing my map Wirtual, hope you had fun with it! Cp1 is indeed a bit too hard, played it so much I became blind for its difficulty. Some intended shortcuts in here .. and a few unintended ones ;) Love these little videos you're making recently!
@@acesw6124 Yeah, misjudged it a bit. But if you do get it, you can totally finish the entire thing, and it seems you got close already! Updated my map description with some hints for cp1 xD Ty for checking out the map.
I appreciate you showing off this ice trial map: I know this is your content and your channel of course, but would you be able to maybe showcase good trial maps for multiple styles? As a newish player, I think trial maps that FORCE you to learn and perform better are just beneficial because it’s like… okay I play the campaign and maybe my ice slide was bad and I lose speed or maybe I eat a gear on dirt and lose speed but I can still finish the map. Trials are usually designed to teach you specific things and you really can’t mess them up or else you’ll fail and have to try again. But, since they’re custom maps, I feel like it’s hard to know which trials are good and actually teach you valuable tools. Appreciate the content and would appreciate some more good trial or map showcases that are designed to teach newer/intermediate players tricks they might not get from regular campaign maps.
2:27 stating its peaceful and easier, also noting that its a beginner map. :P Then im over here, an actual beginner btw, 28 min in and just got past cp1.... this isnt beginner bc idk what im doing at all. this is intermediate at the least
Little over a year ago, I said that Wirtual gave me the motivation to try trackmania. That he did, and I gave it a go... I cannot drive Ice at all and subscribing to their services seems a bit expensive if I am never going to even pass the original Ice trial map. Keep on keepin on drivers, and go for those records. As a "gamer", it irks me to no end there is a game out there I can't at least get the basics of.
Racing games are the hardest to learn as a beginner because its not like most conventional games. There are also other racing games that are supposed to be more realistic that really dont care about your feelings like Richard burns rally, iracing and gtr2
In the previous subscription model, you'd get so much for ten euro per year. I think on a free account you can still play the old TotD I think, those are very educational, if you do decide to fork out 20 a year (which is still peanuts) then definitely, definitely give the TMS campaigns a go.
@@bramweinreder2346 I threw my £8 (€10) a couple years back and it got me all the previous campaigns, all the previous CotD tracks, and access to all the premium features even after my years worth of money ran out But since the pricing update, it completely revoked _all_ of that, except my ability to make and play custom maps - I don't even get the campaigns I actually paid for (despite still having the medals I unlocked on them) So yeah, I don't think you get anything other than the 10 current campaign maps on a f2p account, and that's it
I really appreciate you making these types of videos. Just started playing TrackMania and its really hard to find maps at all, let alone ones easy enough for me. even with TOTD I can spend hours to get a run through that doesnt even hit gold XD
If you want a trial track that's somewhat beginner friendly and not ice, I personally recommend Induction by Naxanria. It took me about an hour to finish (I'm not good at this game by any stretch, I usually struggle quite a bit in the official campaigns to get all golds on the red tracks, for instance), and I would say it's about as easy as it gets while still deserving the name "trial track".
Started playing TM a couple weeks back for essentially the first time, and I was nervous about ice bc I remember very briefly trying it once before and getting to some of the ice maps in training and feeling so far out of my element. Now having tried it, I got to map 14 in the campaign, and felt unsure about it at first. Since finishing the campaign (at least gold on every map), 14 was the first map I came back to, and I have since grinded the map to top 100 in my state. Ice is ridiculously fun now 😂😂😂
Question. Since ice sliding is faster, how come it wasnt the optimal strategy on that full speed ice map Wirtual played recently? Were the lines just not good for ice sliding or is there a limit to the speed?
Wirtual has been creating a lot of metaphors in these last few videos, hitting and missing some shots. also the chat when talking about the resting heart rate was unhinged 120 is NOT OK for a resting heart rate
I think there should be a stream or you just randomly start adding different counters to different things until the entirety of the screen is just counters and stuff
Thank you wirtual for giving me a trial map to play, it is quite hard for a casual player to find a suitable trial map, I just finished it in 35 min I want more of that :)
Hey wirtual, what do you think? I started trackmania seriously a few days agi and i try hard for author medal in every maps in TMNF i just have one left now...
Wirtual idk if you’ll read this but I’m in the geometry dash community and 130 bpm has nothing on some players I’ve seen. I’ve seen 215 during some level completions. Absolute thrilling experience to beat a rewardingly hard level
I find it funny when he talks about a 130 bpm heart rate as if it’s like dangerously high😭. Ignoring the fact that athletes regularly reach 190 I’ve seen people who play video games reach 190 on really difficult stuff.
also can we just make sure we understand that 90 is not a good resting heart rate and that person in chat was a moron (even though Wirtual isn't "resting" here)
Guys is there a separate button for brake??? Its not the backwards arrow??? Please help Ive gotten back to tm after 10 years and Im learning everything now lmao
While I understand clogging up the screen and having a HR monitor on your constantly could be annoying depending on the type.. It could all fit in the space you use for the green timer. The green timer is very large.
Life feels meaningless without the BPM next to the mighty green timer... Save me from depression wirty-chan Also please make the timer RGB and twice as big
What is great with these maps, is that they will become unplayable by the time Nadeonk decided to change once again their already-broken physics with their umpteenth update...
I finally tried Trackmania for the first time yesterday and couldn't understand why I couldn't even get a gold medal on 01. Then I discovered action keys LOL
thats a real short by someone else, the as the guy is walking into KFC a black guy walks out and he says thank you for watching like comment and subscribe, and walks away and the video ends
Pro athletes have lower resting heart rates because their hearts are much more powerful. Lifelong training and conditioning. They deliver more blood/oxygen per pump. 90 is on the higher end of average folk but it is okay. Mine is 65, but I also actively participate in sports.
i think i played yesterday about 1hour the cup of the month with the ice map for getting Gold on it... now nothing about ice just followed only the gold ghosts... that was frustating getting the gold medal xD
This map is Ninja Warrior for "ice noobs and pre beginners" but the first CP is the hardest skillcjeck I have ever seen and because its the first when you reset the timer too gets reset and you dont see your PB ghost. I was really proud of my iceslides (still learning) but that jump is really discouraging from trying this map any further. Its like a game with a free trial before its behind a paywall.

Who hurt you?
green timer slowly becoming less green every stream would go crazy
Finally the streamer gives chat the gaslighting trolling experience instead doing it the other way around
I love the idea!
The best thing is, there are probably people who would realize and play into the chaos.
I think Wirtual brought up a really good point at 4:00, he really should add both bpm and attempt counters to the stream permanently. I'm glad he brought that up.
